Description

Photographischer Schlitzverschluss.

Photographic focal plane shutter. It is known that the curtains forming the slit of a photographic slit shutter run unevenly. This is due to the fact that the running curtain receives an acceleration that is greater, the greater the closing speed is set. As a result of the uneven progression of the shutter, the exposure of the light-sensitive material must also be uneven at the various locations over which the slit passes one after the other.

To eliminate this bad position, the slot width has been changed during the closure process. Such facilities, however, are complex and expensive.

Furthermore, in the case of a focal plane shutter with a concealed elevator, the curtains were allowed to run down one after the other with acceleration without mechanical limitation of the widening of the slot, and for this purpose the spring of the second curtain was given a greater initial tension, but a smaller pretensioning path based on the same masses The spring of the first curtain - Such a design cannot ensure a uniform slot width in the long term, because on the one hand it is extremely difficult to produce springs with a specific tension force and because the springs do not maintain the desired tension force during operation,

Instead, they show signs of fatigue that impair their precise work.

The subject of the invention is a photographic Schlitzverachschluss, in wel chem to eliminate the unevenness of exposure caused by the accelerated flow of the curtains, the curtain strips are shaped so that the light-limiting edge of the leading curtain is at a greater distance from the image plane than the light-limiting edge of the curtain that follows it at an unchangeable distance. Expediently, parallel drainage surfaces of the curtain strips are inclined towards the image plane.

One curtain strip can also have the shape of a non-isosceles U and be arranged in such a way that its side facing away from the plane of the drawing, with its active edge in the direction of movement of the closure, lags behind the end edge of the other side the other curtain strip engages with its effective edge between the legs of the U when the lock is closed.

Two embodiments of the subject of the invention are illustrated for example in the drawing.

1 shows a schematic representation of a focal plane shutter with, according to the first embodiment, end surfaces of the curtain strips running obliquely to the direction of flow shortly after opening the shutter; 2 shows the same closure shortly before the closure; 3 illustrates a focal plane shutter with a U-shaped curtain strip according to the second embodiment, right at the beginning of the exposure; Fig. 4 shows the same focal plane shutter towards the end of the exposure.

In the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2, the slot 2 of the closure 1 is formed by two end strips 6, 7 of the two curtains, the parallel drainage surfaces 10, 11 of which are inclined towards the plane of the drawing. From the lens 3, the light falls through the image window 4 onto the light-sensitive material 5. The curtain strips are shaped so that the light-limiting gante of the leading curtain strip 7 is at a greater distance from the image plane than the light-limiting edge of it in unchangeable distance from the following curtain rail 6.

In the embodiment according to FIGS. 3 and 4, the light rays emanating from the object to be recorded fall through the lens 3 and the slot 2 onto the light-sensitive material 5 behind the picture window 4. The one curtain strip 7 of the focal plane shutter 1 has the shape of a non-equal sight U. The light-limiting edge 9 of the leg of the curtain strip 7 facing away from the plane of the picture rushes in the direction of movement of the closure of the end edge 8 of the other leg.

The other curtain bar 6 engages when the closure is closed with its effective edge 8 between the legs of the U-shaped curtain bar 7 and thereby gives a light-tight closure of the curtain, it is consequently closer to the image plane than the effective edge of the closure bar 7 and thus results the same effect as is achieved in the embodiment according to Fig. 1 and 2.

By the fact that the light cone at the beginning of the exposure, i. H. in the case of relatively slow shutter curtains, the dimming is to a greater extent than towards the end of the exposure time, when the exposure curtains run fast, one obtains an approximately uniform exposure over the entire width of the picture window.

The upper curtain strip 6 can engage in the lower U-shaped curtain strip 7, for example, when the unequal U-strip is pushed against a stop 12 located on the camera housing. The end strip 8 of the upper curtain, which lags behind the lower curtain Thus, since the lower curtain has come to a standstill, it reaches between the legs of the U-shaped end strip of the lower curtain, whereby the previously set slot width of the closure is closed again.

In this state, the closure is then reopened, in which, as is well known, the lower curtain is attached to the straps of the upper curtain.
