Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Nüpenfarbstoffes.

Nach dem Hauptpatent erhält man einen wertvollen Küpenfarbstoff, wenn man m- Toluidin mit einem Pyrazinoanthrachinon vom Aufbau umsetzt, worin g einen bei der Umsetzung sich abspaltenden Rest bedeutet.
Als abspaltbarer Rest g kommen Halo genatome, Hydrogyl-, Merkapto-, Amino-, Alkoxy- und Alkylmerkaptogruppen, sowie quartäre Ammoniumgruppen in Betracht.
Es wurde nun gefunden, dass man eben falls einen wertvollen Küpenfarbstoff erhält, wenn man das imHauptpatent beschriebene Py- razinoanthrachinon mit m-Bromanilin umsetzt. Die Umsetzung kann man durch Erhitzen der oben beschriebenen Verbindung in über schüssigem m-Bromanilin oder durch Erhitzen der berechneten Mengen der Umsetzungsteil nehmer in einem geeigneten Lösungsmittel durchführen, zum Beispiel in Gegenwart von Nitrobenzol.
Hierbei ist unter Umständen der Zusatz eines Kondensationsmittels wie Zinkchlorid, Borsäure oder eines Alkalibi- sulfats vorteilhaft.
Der neue Farbstoff färbt aus brauner Küpe Baumwolle in kräftig rotstichig orangen Tönen, die vorzügliche Echtbeitseigenschaften besitzen.
<I>Beispiel 1:</I> 3,2 Teile Pz-Chlorogy-1,2-pyrazinoanthra- chinon (erhältlich aus Pz-Dioxy-1,2-pyrazino- anthrachinon durch Erhitzen mit Phosphoroxy- Chlorid in Nitrobenzol, gelbbraune Nadeln vom Schmelzpunkt 268 C) werden mit 1,75 Teilen m-Bromanilin in 40 Teilen Nitrobenzol solange gekocht, bis die Salzsäureentwicklung beendet ist. Beim Erkalten des Reaktions gemisches scheidet sich der Farbstoff in orangen Nadeln ab; durch Absaugen und Ausdämpfen wird er rein erhalten.
Er färbt aus brauner Küpe Baumwolle kräftig rotstichig orange.
Beispiel <I>2:</I> 10 Teile Pz-Dioxy-1,2-pyrazinoantbrachi- non werden mit 2 Teilen Zinkchlorid in 50 Teilen Nitrobenzol auf 180-190 C erhitzt, dann langsam 10 Teile m-Bromanilin eingetragen und solange weiter erhitzt, bis kein Dioxypyrazinoanthrachinon mehr nach zuweisen ist. Dann lässt man erkalten, saugt ab und arbeitet wie in Beispiel 1 beschrieben auf. Man erhält denselben Farbstoff in sehr guter Ausbeute.
Beispiel <I>3:</I> Ein Gemisch von 10 Teilen Pz-Oxy- amino-1,2-pyrazinoanthrachinon (berstellbar durch Einleiten von Ammoniak in eine auf etwa<B>150'</B> C erhitzte Lösung von Pz-Chlor- oxy-1,2-pyrazinoanthrachinon in Nitrobenzol; rotbraunes Pulver, das sich in Schwefelsäure mit brauner Farbe löst und ein gelbes Sulfat bildet), 10 Teilen m-Bromanilin und 100 Teilen Nitrobenzol erhitzt man mehrere Stunden lang zum Sieden und arbeitet es nach dem Erkalten auf. Der so erhaltene Farbstoff stimmt mit dem nach Beispiel 1 erhaltenen überein.
Den Farbstoff erhält man auch, wenn man statt des Pz-Ozy-amino-1,2-pyrazino- anthrachinons das auf entsprechende Weise erhältliche Pz-Oxy-methylamino-1,2-pyrazino- anthrachinon (gelbrote Nadeln, die in Schwe felsäure mit gelbroter Farbe löslich sind und ein gelbes Sulfat bilden) verwendet, oder das Pz-Oxy-merkapto-1,2-pyrazinoanthracbinon (erhältlich durch Umsetzen von Pz-Chlor- oxy-1,
2-pyrazinoanthrachinon mit alkoholi schem Natriumsulfid und Überführung des so erhaltenen Natriummerkaptids in das freie Merkaptan durch Behandeln mit Salz säure; rotbraunes Pulver, das sich mit rot violetter Farbe in Alkalien löst) oder den daraus durch Methylieren mit Dimethyl- sulfat herstellbaren Thioäther, oder das Pz- Oxy-äthoxy-1,2-pyrazinoanthrachinon (erbält- lich durch Erhitzen von Pz-Chloroxy-1,
2- pyrazinoanthrachinon mit alkoholischem Na- liumhydroxyd; gelbe Nadeln aus Eisessig) oder das Pz-Oxy-pyridiniumehlorid des 1,2- Pyrazinoantbrachinons von wahrscheinlich folgender Zusammensetzung

das man durch gelindes Erwärmen von Pz- Chlor-oxy-1,2-pyrazinoanthrachinon mit Pyri- din in Form schwach gelb gefärbter, wasser löslicher Nadeln erhält.

According to the main patent, a valuable vat dye is obtained if m-toluidine is reacted with a pyrazinoanthraquinone of the structure in which g is a residue which is split off during the reaction.
Halogen atoms, hydrogyl, mercapto, amino, alkoxy and alkyl mercapto groups, as well as quaternary ammonium groups, can be used as the removable radical g.
It has now been found that a valuable vat dye is also obtained if the pyrazinoanthraquinone described in the main patent is reacted with m-bromoaniline. The reaction can be carried out by heating the compound described above in excess m-bromoaniline or by heating the calculated amounts of the reaction participants in a suitable solvent, for example in the presence of nitrobenzene.
The addition of a condensing agent such as zinc chloride, boric acid or an alkali metal bisulfate may be advantageous here.
The new dye dyes cotton from a brown vat in strong reddish orange tones, which have excellent real working properties.
<I> Example 1: </I> 3.2 parts of Pz-chlorogy-1,2-pyrazinoanthraquinone (obtainable from Pz-dioxy-1,2-pyrazinoanthraquinone by heating with phosphorus oxychloride in nitrobenzene, yellow-brown needles with a melting point of 268 C) are boiled with 1.75 parts of m-bromoaniline in 40 parts of nitrobenzene until the evolution of hydrochloric acid has ended. When the reaction mixture cools, the dye separates out in orange needles; it is kept pure by suction and steaming.

Example <I> 2: </I> 10 parts of Pz-dioxy-1,2-pyrazinoantbrachinone are heated to 180-190 ° C. with 2 parts of zinc chloride in 50 parts of nitrobenzene, then 10 parts of m-bromoaniline are slowly introduced and this continues heated until no more dioxypyrazinoanthraquinone can be detected. Then it is allowed to cool, suctioned off and worked up as described in Example 1. The same dye is obtained in very good yield.
Example <I> 3: </I> A mixture of 10 parts of Pz-oxyamino-1,2-pyrazinoanthraquinone (can be prepared by introducing ammonia into a solution of Pz -Chloroxy-1,2-pyrazinoanthraquinone in nitrobenzene; red-brown powder that dissolves in sulfuric acid with a brown color and forms a yellow sulfate), 10 parts of m-bromoaniline and 100 parts of nitrobenzene are heated to the boil for several hours and it is worked after cooling down. The dye obtained in this way corresponds to that obtained in Example 1.
The dye is also obtained if, instead of Pz-ozy-amino-1,2-pyrazino-anthraquinone, the correspondingly obtainable Pz-oxy-methylamino-1,2-pyrazino-anthraquinone (yellow-red needles in sulfuric acid with yellow-red color are soluble and form a yellow sulfate), or the Pz-Oxy-merkapto-1,2-pyrazinoanthracbinon (obtainable by reacting Pz-chlorooxy-1
2-pyrazinoanthraquinone with alcoholic sodium sulfide and conversion of the sodium mercaptide thus obtained into the free mercaptan by treatment with hydrochloric acid; red-brown powder, which dissolves in alkalis with a red-violet color) or the thioether which can be prepared from it by methylation with dimethyl sulfate, or Pz-oxy-ethoxy-1,2-pyrazinoanthraquinone (obtainable by heating Pz-chloroxy-1 ,
