  <B>Zusatzpatent</B> zum     Hauptpatent    Nr. 198138.    Verfahren zur Verstellung eines neuen     Azofarbstoffes.       Es     wurde    gefunden, dass man einen neuen       Azofarbstoff    erhält, wenn man auf     p-tert:          Amylphenol        diazotiertes        4-Amino-3.2'-di-          methyl-1    .     1'-azobenzol    einwirken     läBt.     



  Der neue Farbstoff stellt ein braunes Pul  ver dar; auf Baumwolle hergestellt erzeugt  der neue Farbstoff gelbbraune Töne.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  22,6 Teile     4-Amino-3.2'-dimethyl-1        .1'-          azobenzol    werden wie üblich     diazotiert.    Die  filtrierte     Diazoniumlösung        lässt    man ein  fliessen in eine Lösung von 16,4     Teilen        p-tert.          Amylphenol,    10 Teilen     Natriumhydrogyd,     5 Teilen     Natriumcarbonat    in 200     Teilen     Wasser.

   Der gebildete Farbstoff fällt sofort    aus,     wird        filtriert,    gewaschen und     getrocknet.     Er bildet ein     braunes    Pulver, das aus Essig  ester kristallisiert bei 125 bis 127       schmilzt.

  <I> Example: </I> 22.6 parts of 4-amino-3.2'-dimethyl-1 .1'-azobenzene are diazotized as usual. The filtered diazonium solution is allowed to flow into a solution of 16.4 parts of p-tert. Amylphenol, 10 parts of sodium hydrogen, 5 parts of sodium carbonate in 200 parts of water.

   The dye formed precipitates immediately and is filtered, washed and dried. It forms a brown powder, which crystallizes from ethyl acetate and melts at 125 to 127.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Azofarbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man auf p-tert. Amylphenol diazotiertes 4- Amino - 3 . 2'- dimethyl -1 . 1'-azobenzol ein wirken lässt. Der neue Farbstoff stellt ein braunes Pulver dar; auf Baumwolle herge stellt erzeugt der neue Farbstoff gelbbraune Töne.
