Le dessin annexé représente,à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution du groupe moto-compresseur faisant l'objet de l'inven tion, celle-ci étantà commande électrique et destinéeà être appliquéeà une installation frigorifique pour usages domestiques: Fig. 1 est une vue en verticale de l'en semble du groupe;
Fig. 2 est une coupe transversale suivant la ligne II---#II de la fig. 1; Fig. 3 est une vue d'en dessusdu carter, suivant la ligne IH-III de la fig. 1; Fig. 4 est une coupeà plus grande échelle d'une partie de la fig. 1; Fig. 5 est un détail montrant la disposi- fion des bornes d'arrivée de courant au moteur;
Motor-compressor unit, in particular for refrigeration installations. The present invention relates to a motor-compressor unit, in particular for refrigeration installations.
According to the invention, this motor-compressor unit comprises at least one oscillating cylinder disposed laterally with respect to an extension of the motor shaft and the piston of which is controlled by a part mounted eccentrically on this shaft. , this cylinder sucking directly into a sealed casing enclosing the motor and compressor, said cylinder liner being provided with a discharge valve opening into a collector ending in a separating chamber fitted with a device automatic oil return to the compressor crankcase, this device ensuring the empty starting of the unit as well as the lubrication of the components,
the whole with the aim of thus achieving a whole of construction and of economical operation, absolutely waterproof and requiring practically no maintenance.
The appended drawing represents, to by way of example, one embodiment of the motor-compressor unit forming the subject of the invention, the latter being to electrical control and intended to be applied to a refrigeration installation for domestic use: Fig. 1 is a vertical view of the entire group;
Fig. 2 is a cross section taken along the line II --- # II of FIG. 1; Fig. 3 is a top view of the casing, along the line IH-III of fig. 1; Fig. 4 is a section to on a larger scale of part of FIG. 1; Fig. 5 is a detail showing the arrangement of the current supply terminals to the motor;
Fig. 6 is a general diagram showing the lubrication circuit, the electric motor supply circuit, and the path of the compressed fluid.
The group shown in the drawing comprises a compressor with single cylinder controlled "by an electric motor. The shaft 1 of the rotor 22 of the motor is arranged vertically. It is supported at its lower end by a slider formed by a ball 3 resting on a stopper 4 itself supported by a ring 5 at < / B> elastic opening 5 which engages in a groove or in an annular housing of a lower bearing 6. This bearing is provided in a cage 7 constituting a housing for the compressor proper and which is closed by a cover 8 in which is provided a second bearing 9 for guiding the tree 1.
The shaft 1, controlled by the electric motor, comprises between the bearings 6 and 9 an eccentric journal 10 </ B > which engages in a #driving eye 11 of a piston 12 (fig. 2) mounted in an oscillating cylinder 13 which comprises, with a on the one hand, in its bottom a suction orifice 14 (fig. 2) closed by an automatic valve 15 and, on the other hand, an additional suction orifice 45 formed in its wall -and open # at the end of the piston stroke.
The cylinder also includes a 1.6 discharge orifice fitted # with a valve 17 also automatic and opening into a chamber 18 </ B> in communication with a channel 19 formed in a shaft 20 integral with the oscillating cylinder 13 of which it constitutes a pivot. This tree. maintained at its upper end in a bearing 21 of the cover 8, is supported at its lower end by a ball clamp 22 having an agen # ment similar to the cra paudine 3 of the shaft 1 of the motor.
The whole assembly thus formed is housed after assembly and possible verification inside a suitably welded housing 26 , and thus constitutes a completely sealed compressor unit, topped with an oil separator 29 which ends with a pipe 23, welded to the crankcase 26 and connected to the channel 19 < / B> by a corrugated sleeve 24 provided with an application spring 25. A suction pipe 27 (fig. 6) is provided for the return gases coming from the evaporator of a refrigeration installation, as well as a communication 28 for the delivery to the condenser of this installation.
The oil separator 29 contains a retaining device 30 consisting of a contact member made of glass wool, metal turn or other in the embodiment. shown, but which can be any equivalent device, and to the lower part of this enclosure 29, which forms an oil collector, an orifice 31 emerging above a cup 32 fixed to the rotor 2 of the motor which it covers.
The port 31 is closed by a valve 33 (fig. 1 and 4) with automatic closing, at - below which is disposed a rod 34 neck freely smoothing in a housing of the shaft 1 and in a collar 35 from which the ends of two balances engage 36 fitted at their outer ends with counterweights 37 and articulated on journals 38 integral with the shaft 1 (fig. 6).
Each of the terminals for supplying current to the electric motor comprises (fig. 5) a rod 39 passing through the casing 26, inside an insulating sheath 40, for example made of porcelain, held by a sealing nut 41. The outer end of each rod receives a current supply conductor 42, while the inner end is applied to a contact to spring 43 of the motor terminal.
The operation of the group shown and described is as follows: During the rotation of the rotor 2, the piston 12, driven by a reciprocating movement in its cylinder 13 which sorrel itself around its support or shaft 20, sucks into the cage 7 and the casing 26 the fluid brought to this casing by the tubing 27.
The suction of the piston 12 is carried out first of all by the valve 15 then, when the edge 44 of the piston (fig. 2) comes to discover the orifice 45 made in the wall of the cylinder. 13, there is an additional suction intended to ensure the perfect filling of this cylinder before the start of the compression stroke.
The fluid sucked in is delivered through the valve 17, the chamber 18 and the pipe 23 into the chamber 29 where this fluid is freed from the oil which it may contain in suspension. The oil collects at the lower part of the enclosure 29 and, as long as the compressor is running, the rockers 36 being kept bare in the the horizontal position indicated in fig. 4 by centrifugal force, the valve 33 remains closed.
When the engine stops, the heavy masses 37 are lowered and bring the balancers into the position shown in dotted lines in fig. 6, thus determining a lifting of the rod 34 which opens the valve 33, by determining the flow of oil in the cup 392. The oil thus collects in this cup and, when the compressor is restarted, this oil is centrifuged to escape through the circumference of the crankcase in the pipes provided to < / B> this effect and without being able to infiltrate into the rotor.
On the other hand, when restarting, the valve 33 being open puts the inside of the housing 26 in communication with the discharge 29-23 , thus allowing the compressor to be started at empty.
The group described produces an assembly in which the bearings, suitably close together, frame the part where the reciprocating resistance force of the piston occurs, the shaft of the rotor proper being thus placed in cantilever without any bearing at its outer end. The arrangement described limits to a very low value the friction which is localized lized to the area of the bearings, while, on the other hand the oscillation of the cylinder having only a very low value does not tend to effect a wise beating or emulsion of the fat oil.
The separation of the oil contained in the fluid delivered by the compressor can be carried out by mechanical or other means, for example by using the speed of circulation of the fluid containing this oil in suspension. The compressor cylinder could have only one of the suction ports 14 or 45.
The compressor can have any desired power and the group shown and described can be applied to refrigeration installations of any kind, more particularly to household or domestic installations, this motor-compressor unit being able to be used in all cases where the one wished to obtain the compression of an elastic fluid or not.
Instead of a single cylinder and a single piston, one could provide forms of execution having several cylinders arranged, with their pistons, laterally with respect to the extension of the motor shaft. These cylinders could be double acting . Preferably, in the embodiments having several cylinders, these will be arranged in different radial directions with respect to to the motor shaft. However, in certain embodiments, the cylinders will be able to oscillate around a common shaft within the interior of which is provided a channel for the delivery of these cylinders.
