Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Kondensationsproduktes. Gegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Kondensationsproduktes, dadurch gekenn zeichnet, dass man 5-Chlormetbyl-2-oxy- benzoesäure mit 4'-(Äthyloctadecylamino)- diphenylketon-2-carbonsäure umsetzt. Die neue Verbindung bildet als Natriumsalz eine wachsartige, in heissem Wasser lösliche Masse mit stark substantiven Eigenschaften. Sie eignet sich als Weichmachungsmittel für Kunstseiden aller Art und kann gleichzeitig mit Direktfarbstoffen im Färbebad verwendet werden.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 52 Teile 4'-(Äthyloctadecylamino)-diphe- nylketon-2-carbonsäure, hergestellt aus Phtal- säureanhydrid und Äthyloctadecylanilin nach der Methode von Friedel-Crafts, werden in 250 Teilen Chlorbenzol gelöst und 25 Teile 5 - Chlormethyl - 2 - oxy- benzoesäure 90 %ig dazugegeben. Man erhitzt 24 Stunden auf 110-1200 C und treibt nach beendigter Kondensation das Chlorbenzol mit Wasser dampf ab.
Der Destillationsrückstand wird in verdünnter Lauge neutral gelöst, die Lö sung erkalten gelassen, das Natriumsalz der gebildeten Carbonsäure mit 15 % Kochsalz ausgefällt, abfiltriert und getrocknet. Das Enderzeugnis ist eine in heissem Wasser lös liche, wachsartige Masse.
Claims (1)
- PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Konden sationsproduktes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man 5.Chlormethyl-2-oxybenzoesäure mit 4'-(Äthyloctadecylamino) - diphenylketon - 2 carbonsäure umsetzt. Die neue Verbindung bildet als Natriumsalz eine wacbsartige, in heissem Wasser lösliche Masse mit stark substantiven Eigenschaften. Sie eignet sich als Weichmacbungsmittel für Kunstseiden aller Art und kann gleichzeitig mit Direkt farbstoffen im Färbebad verwendet werden.
