  Verfahren     zur        Herstellung        einer        Diammoniumverbindung.       Gegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes ist  ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer     Diammo-          niumverbindung.    Das Verfahren ist dadurch  gekennzeichnet,     da.ss    man auf 1     Mol        1,10-Bis-          (ss-diinetliylamino-äthoxy)-dekan    2     1Tol        Ben-          zyIbi@omid    einwirken lässt.

      Die erhaltene neue Verbindung, das     1,10-          Bis-        [11-        (diinetliyl-benzyl-aminonium)    -     äthoxy]        -          delzan-dibromid,    schmilzt bei 138 . Sie soll als  Arzneimittel und als     Zwischenprodukt    für       Arzneimittel    Verwendung finden.

      <I>Beispiel:</I>  3,1.6 Teile     1,10-Bis-(l-dimetliylamino-äth-          oxy)-dekan    und 4,1 Teile     Benzylbromid    wei  den in 20 Teilen     Butanon    etwa 14 Stunden         unter        Rückfluss    gekocht. Nach Kühlen     wird     das abgeschiedene rohe     quartäre    Salz abge  trennt und aus     Butanon    unter Zugabe von  wenig     Isopropanol    oder Methanol umkristalli  siert.

   Hierauf trocknet man bei 50-60  im       Hocliv        akuum.    Das     1,10-Bis-[p-(dimethyl-benzyl-          ammonium)-ä.thoxy        ]-dekan-dibromid    schmilzt.  bei 138 .
