Description
<B>Verfahren</B> zur Herstellung <B>einer</B> Diammoniumverhindung. Gegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Diammo- niumverbindung. Das Verfahren ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man auf 1 Mol 1,10-Bis- (ss-dimetliylamino-äthoxy)-dekan 2 Mol 4-Me- thyl-benzylbromid einwirken lässt.
Die erhaltene neue Verbindung, das 1,10- Bis- [P-(4'-methyl-benzyl-dimethyl-ammonium)- ät.hoxy]-dekan-dibromid, schmilzt bei 110 . Sie soll als Arzneimittel und als Zwischenprodukt für Arzneimittel Verwendung finden. <I>Beispiel:</I> 3,16 Teile 1,10-Bis-(ss'-dimethylamino-äth- oxy)-dekan und 4,5 Teile 4-Methyl-benzylbro- mid werden in 20 Teilen Butauon etwa 14 Stunden unter R,ückfluss gekocht.
Nach Küh- len wird das abgeschiedene rohe quartäre Salz abgetrennt und aus Butanon unter Zugabe von wenig Isopropanol oder Methanol umkii- stallisiert. Hierauf trocknet man bei 50-60 im Hochvakuum. Das 1,10-Bis-[ss'-(4'-methyl- benzyl-dimethyl- ammonium) - äthoxy] - dekan- dibromid schmilzt bei 110 .
