Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines kobalthaltigen Azofarbstoües. Gegenstand vorliegenden Patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines kobalthal- tigen Azofarbstoffes. Das Verfahren ist da durch gekennzeichnet, da.ss man diazotiertes 2-Amino-plienol-4-äthylsulfon mit.
1-(4'-Me- tliyl)-plienyl-3-methyl-5-pyrazolon kuppelt und die erhaltene Verbindung mit kobalt- abgebenden Mitteln behandelt.
Der erhaltene neue, kobalthaltige Azofarb- stoff stellt ein belbbraunes Pulver dar, das Wolle aus neutralem oder schwach saurem Bade in gelben Tönen von sehr guter Wasch-, Walk-, Seewasser-, Reib- und Lichtechtheit färbt.
Beispiel.: 20,1 Teile 2-Amino-phenol-4-äthyl.-sulfon werden in 250 Teilen heissem Wasser mit 17,5 Teilen konz. Salzsäure gelöst, auf 5 ab gekühlt und mit einer 33proz. Natriumnitrit- lösung (entsprechend 6,9 Teilen Natrium nitrit 100 /a) direkt diazotiert. Durch Zugabe @-on Natrium-bicarbonat stellt man neutral und giesst.

Nachdem die Farbstoffbildung beendet ist, filtriert man heiss den mit Kochsalz ausgefäll- ten Farbstoff ab und wäscht ihn nunter Kochsalzlösung aus. Danach schlämmt man ihn in 800 Teilen Wasser von 80 an, gibt 60 Teile Kobaltlösung (entsprechend 3,54 Tei len Kobalt) zu, erhitzt während drei Stun den auf 80 bis 85 , stellt durch Zugabe von Soda alkalisch und erhitzt noch weitere drei Stunden auf 80 bis 85 . Hierauf gibt man Kochsalz zu, bis der kobalthaltige Farbstoff vollständig ausgefallen ist, filtriert ab und trocknet.
Der neue Farbstoff, ein gelbbraunes Pulver, färbt Wolle aus neutralem oder schwach saurem Bade in gelben Tönen von sehr guter Wasch-, Walk-, Seewasser-, Reib- und Lichtechtheit.
