Die vorliegende Erfindung be-, zweckt nun, diese Mängel der bekannten Wäschestampfer zu beseitigen-. Der Wäsche stampfer nach der Erfindung ist demzufolge dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Gehäuse unten durch eine zum Zusammenarbeiten mit, dem Waschgut bestimmte Kappe aus elastisch nachgiebigem Material abgeschlossen ist, deren Boden mit Öffnungen zum Durchlass von Luft und Waschlauge versehen ist und unter dem Einfluss einer im Gehäuseinnern abgestützten ;

Fig. 5 ist ein Grundriss hierzu.
Laundry rammer The washing of delicate fabrics, e.g. B. of Be garments, especially Danienstrümp- l'en made of natural or artificial silk, offers particular difficulties because these fabrics against. mechanical influences, especially when wet, are very sensitive. As a result of the low tensile strength of such fabrics, insofar as these are knitted and knitted fabrics, what is known as stitching occurs with the smallest injury, where the defect increases in size.
Since even washing by hand with back does not look at the risk of injury to delicate tissue by the fingernails. It is advisable that delicate fabrics are usually washed by simply pressing them in a lye. But here, too, injuries occur from the washing devices used or from the laundress’s fingernails.
Commercially available washing machines and washing machines cannot be used for delicate fabrics because of the risk of injury mentioned, as hard metal edges act on the fabric with a strong squeezing effect or the machine drive of a washing machine does not allow individual treatment of the fabric and injuries, in particular Deadlock and the like can arise.
In and of themselves, so-called laundry rammers for washing fabrics are known which have a rotary hollow body a @ \ "H i detes housing. These laundry rammers are usually made of perforated light metal sheet, which naturally has a large number of sharp edges, which when washing act on the fabric and therefore cause damage when washing delicate fabrics.
The present invention is now intended to eliminate these shortcomings of the known laundry rammers. The laundry rammer according to the invention is therefore characterized in that the housing is closed at the bottom by a certain to cooperate with, the laundry cap made of elastically flexible material, the bottom of which is provided with openings for the passage of air and washing liquor and under the influence of an im Housing internally supported;
Compression spring stands, the whole thing in such a way that when the washing good contained in a washing liquor contained border washing container is tamped, the cap is alternately pressed in while displacing the contents and then returned to its original form by the spring restoring force while sucking in lye.
A particularly suitable material for the cap is rubber or plastic, in particular an elastically yielding synthetic resin. If necessary, the laundry rammer can easily be made so small that a small bowl can be used as a washing container, which is very desirable for washing in the household, in that only one or two small items are often washed and the The delicate fabrics considered here require only a relatively small volume of wash liquor.
The drawing shows some execution forms of the subject invention.
Fig.l. shows an embodiment in a vertical central longitudinal section.
Fig. 2 shows a view from below.
3, 6, 7 and 8 show in the same representation as FIG. 1 on a smaller scale each a further embodiment.
Fig. 4 shows a view partially in the vertical right central longitudinal section of another imple mentation form.
Fig. 5 is a plan view of this.
According to the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2, the laundry rammer has a housing 1 made of pressed metal, in particular light metal sheet or synthetic resin, which is covered at the top by a cover 2 and at the bottom by a cap 3 made of elastically flexible material, such as, for. B. rubber is complete. To Be the fastening of the cap 3, the housing has at the lower edge an outwardly open, ring-shaped groove 4, in which the upper edge of the cap 3 formed as an inwardly projecting annular bead 5 from the upper edge of the cap 3 is positively anchored. The bottom 6 of the cap 3 is designed as a downwardly convex dome which is provided with a row of openings 7.
The cap base 6 is provided on the inside with a central thickening 8, which serves as an abutment for a return spring 9. The return spring 9 is designed as a helical compression spring and engages with its upper end on the housing cover 2. The thickening 8 can, if necessary, be provided with a metal insert to increase strength and stiffening. To guide the return spring 9, the cap base has an inwardly projecting central guide pin 10 in the area of the thickening 8, which is provided with a central opening 11.
This connects the inside of the housing with the outside. On the housing 1 is. a handle 12 placed, which is designed as a hollow cylindrical housing extension, which expands at the two ends to offer the hand better grip. The attachment of the handle 12 to the housing 1 is, as can be seen from Figure 1, caused by L mbördeln the hand grip lower edge in an annular hollow throat of the upper edge of the Gehänse.
For use, the laundry to be treated is processed in a wash container containing detergent solution by means of the tamper, which is operated by the operator by grasping the handle 12 with one hand, in such a way that the bottom 6 of the cap 3 rests on the laundry, whereby a simple,
continued tamping movement, the cap 3 is alternately pressed in while displacing the contents and, when the hand pressure is released, is subsequently returned to its original shape by the restoring force of the spring 9 while drawing in lye through the openings 7.
There are air and lye through the openings 7 and 11 in the interior of the Ge, depending on the extent of the depression of the cap penbodens 6 when moving the handle 12 downwards, whereas when you lift the handle 12 again, wash water through the opening mentioned inside of the housing and the cap occurs.
This repeated pressing out and re-sucking in of the medium causes the fabric to be washed to be flooded with caustic solution, some of which is provided with air bubbles, which medium washes the individual tissue pores through.
As a result of this and the direct influx of the ramming effect on the fabric, which causes it to be constantly shaped, intensive cleaning of the aschgLite takes place without the latter coming into contact with sharp, damaging edges of the rammer. The items to be washed come into intensive contact only with the cap 3,
wel before, due to their material properties and elastic, flexible training, there is no risk of injury to the delicate fabric to be washed. In order to further increase the ability of the cap base 6 to change its shape, it can have a cross-section that tapers towards the edge, in a departure from the illustration in the drawing.
The embodiment of Figure 3 differs from that of FIGS. 1 and 2 basically only in that the Ge housing 13 has a lower cup-shaped ge arched shape and the handle as an axial pin 11, for. B. made of wood, light metal or plastic, which is inserted into a central cup 15 seated on the top of the housing.
The embodiment according to FIGS. 4 and 5 differs from that according to FIGS. 1 and 2 basically only in that (the housing 15 has a different design which at the same time forms the handle and, furthermore, the cap 3 has one at the point of its largest diameter protruding outward has the annular flange 16, which is provided with a series of breakthroughs 17. The annular flange 16 enlarges the pressure surface of the cap 3 acting on the Wasehg-it and at the same time increases the rigidity of the cap at the point in question and thus its Effectiveness on the laundry improved.
As far as the special shape of the housing 15 is concerned, the lower part of the housing wall is formed from annular beads 18 following one another in the form of a stepped step and having a diameter that gradually decreases upward. In the uppermost part of the housing, on the other hand, a housing shape that widens upwards is brought about by the annular beads following one another in an analogous manner, the diameter being dimensioned so that
that the upper end of the housing can easily be grasped by the hand of the operator. The hand has a good grip thanks to the special I-ingwul-like design.
Since the handle also forms the upper housing closure, the return spring 9 is directly supported on the cover 19 of the hollow handle.
The Ansführ2ingsform according to Fig.6 is different. 1 and 2 mainly in that the handle 20 is designed in the shape of a capsule and the capsule base 21 at the same time forms the upper end of the housing. This therefore consists of two parts axially one behind the other, connected airtightly with one another, where the upper part is formed by the capsule 20 and the lower part by a casing piece 22.
Furthermore, a return spring 23 seated in the uppermost housing part, that is mainly in the capsule 20, is provided, the lower abutment of which is gebil det by a spring plate 24, which sits at the upper end of a central spacer rod 25. The lower end of the spacer rod 25 is rigidly attached to the thickening 8 of the cap base 6.
The spacer rod 25 can be designed as a tubular hollow rod and, in the event that the cap base has an inwardly projecting central pin 10 as in the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2, it can be plugged directly onto it. In this embodiment, the spring 23 does not come into contact with the washing solution when working.
The embodiment according to FIG. 7 differs from that according to FIGS. 1 and 2 exclusively in that the cap 26 is designed in the form of a capsule and the capsule shell 27 is formed so that it can be folded up like a bellows. This embodiment offers a greater ability to change the shape of the cap and consequently a correspondingly greater displacement and re-suction of the washing medium passing through the base openings in one direction and the other.
The capsule jacket is further subdivided by a perforated horizontal intermediate base 28. Two or more intermediate floors located at a distance can also be used. The foam generation in the wash liquor is supported by these perforated intermediate floors. To the ability to change the shape of the cap base 6 from that of the cap shell 27 far.
To make going independent, the return spring system is divided into two superimposed individual springs 29, 30, whose ends facing one another act on one or the other side of the intermediate floor 28. By suitable choice of the characteristics of the two springs 29 and 30, a vote from the two springs to the desired th Formänderuulgsverbindungen of the cap he can reach.
The embodiment according to FIG. 8 differs from that according to FIGS. 1 and 2 mainly in that the handle 31, which is designed as a capsule, is airtight and axially displaceable. is connected to the upper hollow cylindrical, neck-shaped housing end part 32 and is designed as an actuator of a pump conveying through the cap base. The jacket of the capsule 31 surrounds the neck 32, whereas the capsule bottom 33 is under the influence of a compression spring 34, which is supported at the bottom on an annular, on the housing neck 32 inwardly projecting the abutment 35.
On the underside of this abutment 35, the cap penrückstellfeder 9 is supported. The counter bearing 35 is connected to the wall of the neck 32 in an airtight manner. On the underside it is hermetically sealed with a central tube 36 adjoining its bore, which works telescopically ver slidably with a central tube 37 sitting on the cap base 6. The tube 37 is again attached to the central guide pin 10 and communicates with the through-hole length 11 of this pin, so that the space enclosed by the two tubes 36, 37 is connected to the outside through the central opening 11.
During use, the operator grasps the handle 31 with one hand - Lind carries out the usual stamping movement, the cap 3 again working in the same way under the influence of the return spring 9, as has been described in the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2 is.
In addition to this, however, when the handle 31 is pressed down while the return spring 34 is compressed, an axial displacement of the handle 31 relative to the housing neck 32 and thus a compression of the air is effected, which is contained in the handle and the neck 32 as well the tubes 36 and 37 enclosed space. This air is forced out under pressure through the opening 11 and through the adjacent laundry.
When Rückzuekfedern the handle a corresponding volume of lye is accordingly sucked in through the opening 11, so that here, too, with the continuous up and down movement of the handle 31, an additional flooding of the laundry with lye takes place in one direction and the other.
In so far as the tubes 36 and 37 do not fit into one another in an air-tight manner, a part of the air between these tubes can also be pumped in here at. This air then alternately enters the inside of the housing and back into the pipes and causes. thereby a corresponding additional Liches outflow and re-sucking in of lye through the openings 7 of the cap bottom.
Nothing stands in the way of making the design in such a way that the central opening 11 is closed and that the air from the pump assembly is only conveyed into the housing 1 and is sucked back again by it. Here, of course, special openings can also be provided in one or at the tubes 36, 37, through which the air flows in and out so that the annular gap between the two tubes does not allow air to build up. or is only used additionally.
