Method for producing line connection elements on slip rings for electrical machines and tools for carrying out the method The invention relates to a method for producing line connection elements on slip rings for electrical machines, in which chip-like parts are peeled from the surface layer of the slip ring and shaped like a connecting element , as well as a tool to carry out this procedure.
In a known method, a tool is used that has the shape of a conical longitudinally slotted sleeve, which is set to perform the peeling process perpendicular to the face of the slip ring on this so that it simultaneously peeled off two claw-like chips from the upper surface layer of the slip ring bore . It has been shown, however, that with this working method the cutting edges of the peeling sleeve easily splinter if the material used to manufacture the slip rings is hard and brittle.
The tools therefore require frequent replacement, especially in the case of bronze slip rings, or they have to be reground after just a few operations, which makes the slip rings considerably more expensive to manufacture.
According to the invention, in order to avoid these disadvantages, a method is proposed in which the peeling tool introduced with its cutting edge at least approximately axially parallel into the bore of the slip ring is applied to the bore wall and in which the peeling cut running approximately tangentially to the bore wall of the slip ring is performed Tool and the slip ring are rotated relative to each other.
A tool that consists of a steel cylinder, on the circumference of which runs an approximately axially parallel longitudinal groove that extends over about 60 to 90 of the circumference of the shell and is limited in its width by transition surfaces that grind through from, is particularly suitable for performing this method a cylindrical surface are produced from the material of the tool.
In the drawing, as an embodiment of the invention, a slip ring with a peeling tool located in the working position in Fig. 1 is shown in space.
As a second exemplary embodiment, FIG. 2 shows a slip ring with two pairs of claws used to connect a line.
The brass slip ring 10 of FIG. 1 has a pair of claws designated 11 and 12, which is used to receive an interrupted in. Lines indicated connection conductor 13 is used. Using a peeling tool 14, the pair of claws has been peeled off like a chip from the surface layer of the slip ring bore 15.
The peeling tool 14 shown in its working position during the peeling process for a new pair of claws consists of a short steel cylinder, the diameter of which is approximately 70 to 80% of the slip ring bore. A longitudinal groove 17 is cut out of the outer surface of the steel cylinder over an angle α of approximately 90 °.
This groove is limited in its width by a hollow cylindrical surface 18 and 19, which forms a cutting edge 20 and 21 with the outer surface of the steel cylinder.
To perform the peeling cuts running approximately tangentially to the bore wall 15 of the slip ring, the slip ring 10 is gripped in a collet (not shown) in such a way that the collet exerts a clamping pressure as evenly as possible over the circumference of the slip ring. Then the tool 14 is inserted on a mandrel 16 approximately axially parallel into the slip ring bore and placed with its cutting edge 20 on the bore wall.
When the tool is rotated in the direction of the arrow in relation to the fixed slip ring, the cutting edge releases a chip 24 because of the off-center arrangement of the mandrel 16 from the upper surface layer of the slip ring, the free end of which slides along the hollow cylindrical surface 19 with increasing angle of rotation and it rolls in claw-like shape to the shape shown on the claw pair 11 and 12.
The associated claw, not yet shown in FIG. 1, can be produced in that the peeling tool 14 is rotated against the direction of the arrow shown after it has been attached with its cutting edge 21 axially parallel to the bore wall of the slip ring.
Clamping the slip ring in a collet has the advantage that the slip ring does not warp during the peeling process. It is of course also possible to accelerate the peeling process by turning the collet and the slip ring to be machined in the opposite direction to the peeling tool.
The cutting edges of the tool are formed in such a way that the pressure occurring during the peeling process is distributed approximately evenly over the peripheral surface adjacent to the cutting edge and the inwardly incised cylinder surface. This prevents the cutting edges from breaking out with great certainty, so that the tool has a long service life even when using very hard materials for the slip rings.
In the slip ring according to FIG. 2, two pairs of claws 31, 32 and 33, 34 are peeled off from the bore wall 35 lying next to one another at a distance. For this purpose, a tool, not shown, is used, which is shaped essentially similar to the one according to FIG. 1, but has two cutting edges lying one behind the other in the axial direction, between which a distance remains, which after peeling off the claws is shown at 37 in FIG marked bridge.
The double claws according to FIG. 2 result in a sufficiently secure fastening for a connection cable, not shown, even in the case of the toughest load. In some cases, however, it is sufficient to peel trainees instead of the four claws shown, for example those designated in Fig. 1 with 31 and 34.
The particular advantage of the tool shape shown and described is that the cutting edges can easily be reworked with a cylindrical grinding body, which has the diameter of the hollow cylinder 18 and 19 and is pivoted about the axis of the mandrel 16 during its working movement, without it Special precautions are required to maintain constant cutting angles, as these cannot change during this reworking. This results in a substantial simplification in the maintenance and adjustment of the peeling device.
