Description

  Table chirurgicale

  Surgical table
The present invention relates to a surgical table, comprising a vertical column on which is mounted oscillating the support of a carriage provided with guide rails resting on rollers carried by the support and an X-ray permeable plate secured to the carriage.

The current surgical tables are not sufficiently clear because the central foot does not allow the installation, during the operation, of certain radiological devices which are bulky, in particular those comprising an image intensifier.

The object of the present invention is to remedy the aforementioned drawbacks and the surgical table which is the subject thereof is characterized in that the plate comprises articulated and interchangeable elements intended to allow, with the sliding of the plate on the carriage, a release of almost the entire length of the table.

This construction can advantageously be completed with a handwheel carried by the carriage, in the vicinity of the handwheel for controlling the longitudinal sliding movement of the carriage on the support, to control the longitudinal inclination of the assembly of the support, the carriage and the tray.

The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the surgical table which is the subject of the invention.

Fig. 1 is an elevation view thereof.

Fig. 2 is a longitudinal section showing the control of the longitudinal inclination of the plate.

Figs. 3 and 4 are elevational views of the table with part of the top cantilevered.

Fig. 5 is a longitudinal section taken in the plane of the translation control of the table.

Fig. 6 is a cross section taken along the line VI-VI of FIG. 5.

The surgical table shown comprises a plate 1 made of a material permeable to X-rays and articulated in several elements around pins 22. The anterior and posterior elements can be swapped, the patient being thus able to be placed in the position most favorable to the intervention. envisaged (fig. 3 and 4).

The plate 1 is integrally supported by a carriage 2, the section of which turns its concavity downwards and ends with two edges 26 folded inwards in which two rails 5 and 25 are fixed parallel to one another. rails are formed by U-shaped irons, one of which, 25, turns its concavity inwards while the other turns its concavity vertically, for example downwards, as shown in FIG. 6. On the column 6 is mounted a double oscillating support 3 (fig. 1) carrying on each side four pairs of rollers 4, engaged in the rails 5 and 25. The carriage 2 and consequently the plate 1 which is thereof. integral can therefore move longitudinally with respect to the support 3, thus making it possible to clear a large area accessible to radiological devices (FIGS. 3 and 4).

Figs. 5 and 6 show the device for controlling the longitudinal sliding movement of the carriage 2 on the support 3.

A flywheel 7, mounted laterally at the rear of the carriage 2, drives a chain pinion 8 in rotation.

Towards the front of the carriage 2 is mounted a return pinion 10. A chain 9, one end of which is fixed on the support 3, passes over the return pinion 10, then over the pinion 8 secured to the flywheel 7 and, finally, is fixed again by its end opposite to the support 3. The operation of the handwheel 7 therefore has the effect of moving the carriage 2 and the plate 1 with respect to the support 3. This control device can also be produced by a screw integral with the mobile carriage and a nut integral with the fixed support.

As shown in fig. 2 and in a known manner, the longitudinal inclination of the support 3 on the foot 6 can be controlled with the interposition of an irreversible transmission 15 by the rotation of a longitudinal shaft 14. It is advantageous to be able to control this shaft 14 in rotation. by means of a vo land 11 mounted at the rear of the carriage 2 and in the vicinity of the other control wheel 7. For this purpose, the movement of the flywheel 11 is transmitted by means of a train of reduction gears 12 to a splined rod 13 coaxially slidably engaged in the longitudinal shaft 14. Since the splined rod can slide in the shaft 14, control can thus be provided by the operation of the handwheel 11 for any longitudinal position of the carriage 2 with respect to the support 3.
