Description
Der Patentanspruch I des Hauptpatentes Nur. 590 608 betrifft ein Schädlingsbekämpfungsmittel, welches als aktive Komponente mindestens eine Verbindung der Formel

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Schädlingsbekämpfungsmittel, welches als mindestens eine aktive Komponente ein Anilid der Formel I enthält, sowie die Verwendung dieses Mittels zur Bekämpfung pflanzlicher Schädlinge, wie phytopathogener Mikroben und Pilze, wie auch zur Regulierung des Pflanzenwachstums.

Bekämpfung von Schädlingen. Mit Ausnahme der im Patentanspruch des Hauptpatentes Nr.590608 genannten Verbindungen.
Als Alkyl und als Alkyl-Teil einer Alkoxy-Gruppe kommen je nach Zahl der angegebenen Kohlenstoffatome folgende Gruppen in Frage: Methyl, Acethyl, n-Propyl, iso-Propyl oder n-, iso-, sec- oder tert-Butyl. Als Halogen kommen Fluor, Chlor, Brom oder Jod in Frage.
Als 5- bis 6-gliedriger heterocyclischer Rest können z. B.
genannt werden: Furan, Ihiophen, Pyridin, Pyrimidin, 2,3 Dihydro-4H-pyran, 1 ,4-Oxathi-(2)-in, Tetrahydrofuran Morpholin oder Piperidin, welche gegebenenfalls durch Methyl und/oder Halogen substituiert sein können.
Bevorzugt sind Verbindungen der Formel Ia, bei denen R1 Methyl bedeutet, R2 in ortho-Position zur Aminogruppe steht und Methyl, Aethyl oder Chlor bedeutet, während R5 und Rg die angegebene Bedeutung haben.
Wie bereits durch Hervorhebung der Verbindung N-(1'- Methoxycarbonyl-äthyl)- N-(furan-(2'8)- carbonyl)-2,6-dimethylanilin im Hauptpatent Nr. 590 608 betont, stellen unter diesen Verbindungen der Formel Ia diejenigen, worin R4 2 Furanyl bedeutet, eine der mikrobizid bevorzugten Wirkstoffgruppen dar. Dies schliesst auch Verbindungen der Formel Ia ein, worin die 2-Furanylgruppe gegebenenfalls durch ein Methyl oder ein Halogen substituiert sind.
Innerhalb dieser Gruppe sind Verbindungen bevorzugt, worin die Gesamtzahl von C-Atomen bei den Substituenten R1, R2, R5 und R6 die Zahl 4 nicht übersteigt, beispielsweise 2,6 Dimethylanilin- 2,3,6-Trimethylanilin-, 2,3 3,6-Tetramethyl- anilin-Derivate. Eine andere Gruppe von mikrobizid bevorzugten Verbindungen der Formel Ia sind solche, worin R4 2 Thienyl bedeutet.
Die Herstellung der Verbindungen der Formel I erfolgt beispielsweise durch Acylierung einer Verbindung der Formel II

Die Herstellung der Verbindungen der Formel 1 knan vorteilhaft auch so erfolgen, dass das entsprechende Acylanilid der Formel W

mit z. B. Butyl-Lithium, Na-Hydrid oder aber mit C2Ct3 in Pyridin oder Tetrahydrofuran in das Alkalisalz iibsHiilS wird, welches dann mit dem Halogenessigsäure-Ester oder -Amid bzw. dem a-Halogenpropionsäure-Ester oder -Amid der Formel V HalXR3 (V) weiter umgesetzt wird.
Die Umsetzungen können in An- oder Abwesenheit von gegenüber den Reaktionsteileahmern inerten Lösungs- oder Verdünnungsmitteln durchgeführt werden. Es kommen beispielsweise folgende in Frage: Aliphatische oder aromatische Kohlenwasserstoffe wie Benzol, Toluol, Xylole, Petroläther, halogenierte Kohlenwasserstoffe wie Chlorbenzol, Methylenchlorid, Aethylenchlond, Chloroform; Aether und ätherartige Verbindungen wie Dialkyläther, Dioxan, Tetrahydrofuran; Nitrile wie Acetonitril; N,N-dialkylierte Amide wie Dimethylformamid; ferner Essigsäure, Dimethylsulfoxid und Gemische solcher Lösungsmittel untereinander.
Die Reaktionstemperaturen liegen zwischen - 200 C und 1800 C, vorzugsweise zwischen 0 und 1200 C. Die Reaktion kann in Gegenwart eines säurebindenden Mittels durchgeführt werden. Als solches kommen tertiäre Amine wie Trialkylamine (z. B. Triäthylamin), Pyridin und Pyridinbasen, oder anorganische Basen, wie die Oxide und Hydroxide, Hydrogencarbonate und Carbonate von Alkali- und Erdalkalimetallen sowie Natriumacetat in Betracht. Dimethylformamid wirkt katalysierend.
Die Verbindungen der Formel I besitzen die Eigenschaft, das Wachstum und den Gesundheitszustand von Nutztieren und das Wachstum und die Entwicklung von Nutzpflanzen sowie den Nutzpflanzenanbau, z. B. durch selektive Unkrautbekämpfung oder durch Wuchsregulation, günstig zu beeinflussen.
Unter anderem eignen sie sich zur Bekämpfung verschiedenartiger pflanzlicher und tierischer Schädlinge.
Überragende Wirkung aber erzielen die Verbindungen der Formel 1 als Mikrobizide. Sie besitzen sowohl präventive wie auch kurative Wirkung gegen phytopathogene Pilze an Kulturpflanzen wie beispielsweise Getreide, Mais, Reis, Gemüse, Zuckertüben, Soja, Erdnüsse, an Obstbäumen, Zierpflanzen, vor allem aber an Reben, Hopfen, Gurkengewächsen (Gurken, Kürbis, Melonen) an Solanaceen wie Kartoffeln, Tabak und Tomaten, sowie an Bananengewächsen, Kakao- sowie Naturkautschuk-Bäumen.
Mit diesen Wirkstoffen können an Pflanzen oder Pflanzenteilen (Früchte, Blüten, Laubwerk, Stengel, Knollen, Wurzeln) auftretende Pilze eingedämmt oder vernichtet werden, wobei auch später zuwachsende Pflanzenteile von derartigen Pilzen verschont bleiben. Die Wirkstoffe sind gegen die den folgenden Klassen angehörenden phytopathogenen Pilze wirksam: Ascomycetes (Erysiphaceae); Basidiomycetes wie vor allem Rostpilze; Fungi imperfecti; dann aber besonders gegen die der Klasse der Phycomycetes angehörenden Oomycetes wie Phytophothora, Peronospora, Pseudoperonospora oder Plasmopara. Überdies wirken die Verbindungen der Formel I systemisch.
Sie können ferner besonders als Beizmittel zur Behandlung von Saatgut (Früchte, Knollen, Körner) und Pflanzenstecklingen zum Schutz vor Pilzinfektionen sowie gegen im Erdboden auftretende phytopathogene Pilze eingesetzt werden.
Die Verbindungen der Formel I, worin

bedeutet, besitzen ein asymmetrisches Kohlenstoffatom und können auf übliche Art in optische Antipoden gespalten werden. Hierbei besitzt die enantiomere D-Form die stärkere mikrobizide Wirkung. Es wird z. B. die racemische Verbindung der Formel VI hergestellt

und in an sich bekannter Weise mit einer N-haltigen optisch aktiven Base umgesetzt. Durch funktionierte Kristallisation des erhaltenen Salzes und nachfolgende Freisetzung des optischen Antipoden, gegebenenfalls auch Wiederholung der Reaktion mit der optisch aktiven Base, gewinnt man eine der enantiomeren Formen der entsprechenden Verbindung der Formel VI.
Aus dieser lassen sich dann auf übliche Art die Ester oder Amide herstellen.
Als optisch aktive organische Base kommt z. B. ss-Phenyl äthylamin in Frage.
Die Verbindungen der Formel I werden für sich allein oder zusammen mit geeigneten Trägern und/oder anderen Zuschlagstoffen verwendet, wie es im Hauptpatent Nr. 590 608 beschrieben ist.
Die Verbindungen der Formel I können selbstverständlich zur Verbreiterung ihres Wirkungsspektrums mit anderen geeigneten pestiziden oder den Plflanzenwuchs fördernden Wirkstoffen zusammen eingesetzt werden.
Die nachfolgenden Beispiele dienen zur näheren Erläuterung der Erfindung, ohne dieselbe einzuschränken. Die Temperaturangaben beziehen sich auf Celsiusgrade. Sofern nicht anders vermerkt, ist bei der Nennung eines Wirkstoffs der Formel I, der in optisch aktiven Formen auftreten kann, stets das racemische Gemisch gemeint.
Beispiel 1 Herstellung von

N-( 1 -Methoxycarbonyl-äthyl)-N-(Furan- (2'gcarbonyl- 2,3,6-tn-methylanilin. (Verb. A) a) Eine Suspension von 51,5 g (0,382 Mol) 2,3,6-Trimethylanilin,35,3 g NaHCO3 und 126 ml (1,15 Mol) 2-Brompropionsäuremethylester wird 6 Std. bei einer Badtemperatur von 1300 gerührt, dann abgekühlt, vom Salz flltriert und destilliert: 67,3 g a-(2,3,6-Trimethylanilino)- propionsäuremethylester, Sdp. 1440-1460 C/9 Torr.
b) Eine Suspension von 33,5 g (0,152 Mol) des gemäss a) erhaltenen Esters und 18 g (0,17 Mol) Soda in 200 ml absolutem Benzol, wird tropfenweise mit 16,7 ml (0,17 Mol) Furan-2 carbonsäurechlorid bei 60-70 versetzt und noch 4 Std. gehal- ten. Spritzpulver
Zur Herstellung eines 50%gen Spritzpulvers werden folgende Bestandteile verwendet: 50 Teile N-(l '-Methoxycarbonyl-äthyl)-N- [furan- (2")carbonyl]-2,3,6-trimethylanilin oder ein anderer Wirkstoff gemäss vorliegender Er findung
5 Teile Natriumdibutylnaphthylsulfonat,
3 Teile Naphthalinsulfonsäure-Phenolsulfonsäuren-
Formaldehyd-Kondensat 3:2:1, 20 Teile Kaolin, 22 Teile Champagne-Kreide;
Der angegebene Wirkstoff wird auf den entsprechenden Trägerstoff (Kaolin) aufgezogen und anschliessend vermischt und vermahlen. Man erhält Spritzpulver von vorzüglicher
Benetzbarkeit und Schwebefähigkeit.
Aus solchen Spritzpul- vern können durch Verdünnen mit Wasser Suspensionen jeder gewünschten Konzentration erhalten werden.
Die folgenden Versuche beschreiben die fungziden Eigenschaften der Wirkstoffe der Formel I:
Beispiel 2 Wirkung gegen Phytophthora infestans auf Solanum lycopersicum (= Tomaten).
Ia) Residual-präventve Wirkung
Solanum lycopersicum-Pflanzen der Sorte Roter Gnom werden nach 3-wöchiger Anzucht nach dem Besprühen mit einer 0,05 % Aktivsubstanz enthaltenden Brühe (hergestellt aus der zu einem Spritzpulver aufgearbeiteten Wirksubstanz) und deren Antrocknen mit einer Zoosporensuspension von Phytophthora infestans infiziert. Sie bleiben dann während 6 Tagen in einer Klimakammer bei 18 bis 20 und hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit, die mittels eines künstlichen Sprühnebels erzeugt wird.
Nach dieser Zeit zeigen sich typische Blattflecken. Ihre Anzahl und Grösse sind der Bewertungsmassstab für die geprüfte Substanz.
Ib) Kurative Wirkung
Tomatenpflanzen der Sorte Roter Gnom werden nach dreiwöchiger Anzucht mit einer Zoosporensuspension des Pilzes besprüht und in einer Kabine bei 18 bis 20 und gesättigter Luftfeuchtigkeit inkubiert. Unterbruch der Befeuchtung nach 24 Stunden. Nach dem Abtrocknen der Pflanzen werden diese mit einer Brühe besprüht, die die als Spritzpulver formulierte Wirksubstanz in einer Konzentration von 0,05 % enthält.
Nach dem Antrocknen des Spritzbelages werden die Pflanzen wieder in der Feuchtkabine während 4 Tagen aufgestellt.
Anzahl und Grösse der nach dieser Zeit auftretenden typischen Blattflecken sind der Bewertungsmassstab für die Wirksamkeit der geprüften Substanzen.
II) Präventiv-Systemische Wirkung
Die als Spritzpulver formulierte Wirksubstanz wird in einer Konzentration von 0,05% (bezogen auf das Bodenvolumen) auf die Bodenoberfläche von drei Wochen alten eingetropften Tomatenpflanzen der Sorte Roter Gnom gegeben. Nach dreitägiger Wartezeit wird die Blattunterseite der Pflanzen mit einer Zoosporensuspension von Phytophthora infestans besprüht. Sie werden dann 5 Tage in einer Sprühkabine bei 18 bis 20" und gesättigter Luftfeuchtigkeit gehalten. Nach dieser Zeit bilden sich typische Blattflocken, deren Anzahl und Grösse zur Bewertung der Wirksamkeit der geprüften Substanzen dienen.
In diesen drei Versuchen zeigen die Verbindungen der Formel 1 eine starke blattfungizide Wirkung, d. h. der Befall liegt unter 20%. Bei einigen Gruppen von Verbindungen wird kein Befall beobachtet, darunter z. B. bei den Verbindungen A, Kunde.
Beispiel 3
Wirkung gegen Plasmopara viticola (Bert. et Curt.) (Berl. et
DeToni) auf Reben a) Residual-präventive Wirkung
Im Gewächshaus wurden Rebenstecklinge der Sorte Chasselas herangezogen. Im 10-Blatt-Stadium wurden 3 Pflanzen mit einer aus der als Spritzpulver formulierten Wirksubstanz hergestellten Brühe besprüht. Nach dem Antrocknen des Spritzbelages wurden die Pflanzen auf der Blattunterseite mit der Sporensuspension des Pilzes gleichmässig infiziert. Die Pflanzen wurden anschliessend während 8 Tagen in einer Feuchtkammer gehalten. Nach dieser Zeit zeigten sich deutliche Krankheitssymptome an den Kontrollpflanzen. Anzahl und Grösse der Infektionsstellen an den behandelten Pflanzen dienten als Bewertungsmassstab für die Wirksamkeit der geprüften Substanzen.
b) Kurative Wirkung
Rebenstecklinge der Sorte Chasselas wurden im Gewächshaus herangezogen und im 10-Blatt-Stadium mit einer Sporensuspension von Plasmopara viticola an der Blattunterseite infiziert. Nach 24 Std. Aufenthalt in der Feuchtkabine wurden die Pflanzen mit einer Wirkstoffbrühe besprüht, die aus einem Spritzpulver des Wirkstoffs hergestellt worden war.
Anschliessend wurden die Pflanzen 7 Tage weiterhin in der Feuchtkabine gehalten. Nach dieser Zeit zeigten sich die Krankheitssymptome an den Kontrollpflanzen. Anzahl und Grösse der Infektionsstellen an den behandelten Pflanzen dienten als Bewertungsmassstab für die Wirksamkeit der geprüften Substanzen.
In diesen beiden Versuchen zeigen die Verbindungen der Formel I starke fungizide Wirkung, d. h. der Befall liegt unter 20%.
Beispiel 4 Wirkung gegen Puccinia triticina auf Roggen. Residualpräventive Wirkung
5-7 cm hohe Roggenpflanzen wurden im Gewächshaus mit einer 0,05 zeigen, aus einem Spritzpulver hergestellten Wirkstoffbrühe besprüht, so dass die Pflanzen von einem gleichmässigen Tröpfchenbelag überzogen waren. Nach dem Antrocknen dieses Spritzbelags wurden die Pflanzen mit einer Uredosporensuspension des Pilzes gleichmässig infiziert. Nach 2 Tagen Aufenthalt in der Feuchtkammer (bei 18-20" C und gesättigter Luftfeuchtigkeit) und weiteren 1 > 12 Tagen im Gewächshaus bei 20-22" C und normaler Luftfeuchtigkeit, wenn die unbehandelten Kontrollpflanzen vollen Befall zeigten, wurde ausgewertet.
Anzahl und Grösse der Infektionsstellen an den behandelten Pflanzen dienten als Bewertungsmassstab für die Wirksamkeit der geprüften Substanzen.
Ein Teil der Verbindungen der Formel I zeigt gute Verhütung von Pilzbefall, der in der Regel unter 20% liegt.
BeispielS Residual-protektive Wirkung gegen Erysiphe cichoracearum (Echter Mehltau) auf Cucurbita pepo.
Zuchetti-Pflanzen wurden im Keimblattstadium mit einer aus dem Spritzpulver des Wirkstoffs hergestellten Spritzbrühe (0,05 % Aktivsubstanz) besprüht. Nach 48 Std. wurden die behandelten Pflanzen mit Konidien des Pilzes bestäubt. Die infizierten Pflanzen wurden in einem Gewächshaus bei ca.
22 C aufgestellt, und der Pilzbefall wurde nach 10 Tagen beurteilt.

Beispiel 6 Wuchshemmung an Gräsern
Auf einem etablierten Freiland-Rasen bestehend aus den Gräsern Lolium perenne, Poa pratensis und Festuca rubra wurden Parzellen von 3 m2 Grösse zwei Tage nach dem ersten Schnitt im Frühjahr mit wässrigen Zubereitungen eines Wirkstoffs der Formel 1 besprüht. Die eingesetzte Wirkstoffmenge betrug umgerechnet 5 kg AS/pro Hektar. Unbehandelte Parzellen wurden als Kontrollen belassen. 6 Wochen nach der Applikation wurde die mittlere Wuchshöhe der Gräser in behandelten und unbehandelten Parzellen ermittelt. Die mit den Wirkstoffen behandelte Grasnarbe war gleichmässig kompakt und hatte ein gesundes Aussehen. Insbesondere Wirkstoffe der Formel I, worin -X-R3 einen Acetamid-Rest bedeutet, zeigten starke oder fast vollständige Wuchshemmung.

Claims (1)
- **WARNUNG** Anfang CLMS Feld konnte Ende DESC uberlappen **. in einer Klimakammer bei 18 bis 20 und hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit, die mittels eines künstlichen Sprühnebels erzeugt wird.Nach dieser Zeit zeigen sich typische Blattflecken. Ihre Anzahl und Grösse sind der Bewertungsmassstab für die geprüfte Substanz.Ib) Kurative Wirkung Tomatenpflanzen der Sorte Roter Gnom werden nach dreiwöchiger Anzucht mit einer Zoosporensuspension des Pilzes besprüht und in einer Kabine bei 18 bis 20 und gesättigter Luftfeuchtigkeit inkubiert. Unterbruch der Befeuchtung nach 24 Stunden. Nach dem Abtrocknen der Pflanzen werden diese mit einer Brühe besprüht, die die als Spritzpulver formulierte Wirksubstanz in einer Konzentration von 0,05 % enthält.Nach dem Antrocknen des Spritzbelages werden die Pflanzen wieder in der Feuchtkabine während 4 Tagen aufgestellt.Anzahl und Grösse der nach dieser Zeit auftretenden typischen Blattflecken sind der Bewertungsmassstab für die Wirksamkeit der geprüften Substanzen.II) Präventiv-Systemische Wirkung Die als Spritzpulver formulierte Wirksubstanz wird in einer Konzentration von 0,05% (bezogen auf das Bodenvolumen) auf die Bodenoberfläche von drei Wochen alten eingetropften Tomatenpflanzen der Sorte Roter Gnom gegeben. Nach dreitägiger Wartezeit wird die Blattunterseite der Pflanzen mit einer Zoosporensuspension von Phytophthora infestans besprüht. Sie werden dann 5 Tage in einer Sprühkabine bei 18 bis 20" und gesättigter Luftfeuchtigkeit gehalten. Nach dieser Zeit bilden sich typische Blattflocken, deren Anzahl und Grösse zur Bewertung der Wirksamkeit der geprüften Substanzen dienen.In diesen drei Versuchen zeigen die Verbindungen der Formel 1 eine starke blattfungizide Wirkung, d. h. der Befall liegt unter 20%. Bei einigen Gruppen von Verbindungen wird kein Befall beobachtet, darunter z. B. bei den Verbindungen A, Kunde.Beispiel 3 Wirkung gegen Plasmopara viticola (Bert. et Curt.) (Berl. et DeToni) auf Reben a) Residual-präventive Wirkung Im Gewächshaus wurden Rebenstecklinge der Sorte Chasselas herangezogen. Im 10-Blatt-Stadium wurden 3 Pflanzen mit einer aus der als Spritzpulver formulierten Wirksubstanz hergestellten Brühe besprüht. Nach dem Antrocknen des Spritzbelages wurden die Pflanzen auf der Blattunterseite mit der Sporensuspension des Pilzes gleichmässig infiziert. Die Pflanzen wurden anschliessend während 8 Tagen in einer Feuchtkammer gehalten. Nach dieser Zeit zeigten sich deutliche Krankheitssymptome an den Kontrollpflanzen. Anzahl und Grösse der Infektionsstellen an den behandelten Pflanzen dienten als Bewertungsmassstab für die Wirksamkeit der geprüften Substanzen.b) Kurative Wirkung Rebenstecklinge der Sorte Chasselas wurden im Gewächshaus herangezogen und im 10-Blatt-Stadium mit einer Sporensuspension von Plasmopara viticola an der Blattunterseite infiziert. Nach 24 Std. Aufenthalt in der Feuchtkabine wurden die Pflanzen mit einer Wirkstoffbrühe besprüht, die aus einem Spritzpulver des Wirkstoffs hergestellt worden war.Anschliessend wurden die Pflanzen 7 Tage weiterhin in der Feuchtkabine gehalten. Nach dieser Zeit zeigten sich die Krankheitssymptome an den Kontrollpflanzen. Anzahl und Grösse der Infektionsstellen an den behandelten Pflanzen dienten als Bewertungsmassstab für die Wirksamkeit der geprüften Substanzen.In diesen beiden Versuchen zeigen die Verbindungen der Formel I starke fungizide Wirkung, d. h. der Befall liegt unter 20%.Beispiel 4 Wirkung gegen Puccinia triticina auf Roggen. Residualpräventive Wirkung 5-7 cm hohe Roggenpflanzen wurden im Gewächshaus mit einer 0,05 zeigen, aus einem Spritzpulver hergestellten Wirkstoffbrühe besprüht, so dass die Pflanzen von einem gleichmässigen Tröpfchenbelag überzogen waren. Nach dem Antrocknen dieses Spritzbelags wurden die Pflanzen mit einer Uredosporensuspension des Pilzes gleichmässig infiziert. Nach 2 Tagen Aufenthalt in der Feuchtkammer (bei 18-20" C und gesättigter Luftfeuchtigkeit) und weiteren 1 > 12 Tagen im Gewächshaus bei 20-22" C und normaler Luftfeuchtigkeit, wenn die unbehandelten Kontrollpflanzen vollen Befall zeigten, wurde ausgewertet.Anzahl und Grösse der Infektionsstellen an den behandelten Pflanzen dienten als Bewertungsmassstab für die Wirksamkeit der geprüften Substanzen.Ein Teil der Verbindungen der Formel I zeigt gute Verhütung von Pilzbefall, der in der Regel unter 20% liegt.BeispielS Residual-protektive Wirkung gegen Erysiphe cichoracearum (Echter Mehltau) auf Cucurbita pepo.Zuchetti-Pflanzen wurden im Keimblattstadium mit einer aus dem Spritzpulver des Wirkstoffs hergestellten Spritzbrühe (0,05 % Aktivsubstanz) besprüht. Nach 48 Std. wurden die behandelten Pflanzen mit Konidien des Pilzes bestäubt.
