Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft Verbindungen der Formel I

Unter Alkyl oder als Alkylteil eines anderen Substituenten sind je nach Zahl der angegebenen C-Atome folgende Gruppen zu verstehen: Methyl, Äthyl, Propyl, Butyl, Pentyl oder Hexyl sowie ihre Isomeren, wie z. B. iso-Propyl, iso-Bu-20 tyl, sek-Butyl, tert-Butyl, iso-Pentyl usw.
Alkenyl steht beispielsweise für Allyl, 2-Butenyl, usw. Alkinyl bedeutet vor allem Propargyl. Als C3-C7-Cycloalkyl sind Cyclopropyl, Cyclobutyl, Cyclopentyl, Cyclohexyl und Cycloheptyl zu verstehen. Ha-25 logen steht für Fluor, Chlor, Brom oder Jod.
Beispiele salzbildener Säuren sind anorganische Säuren wie Chlorwasserstoffsäure, Bromwasserstoffsäure, Jodwasserstoffsäure, Schwefelsäure, Phosphorsäure, phosphorige Säure, Salpetersäure und organische Säuren wie Essigsäure, 30 Trichloressigsäure, Oxalsäure, Bernsteinsäure, Maleinsäure, Milchsäure, Glycolsäure, Aconitsäure, Zitronensäure, Benzoesäure, Benzolsulfonsäure, Methansulfonsäure.
Metallkomplexe der Verbindungen der Formel I bestehen aus dem zugrunde liegenden organischen Molekül 35 und einem anorganischen oder organischen Metallsalz, z.B. den Halogeniden, Nitraten, Sulfaten, Phosphaten, Tartraten usw. des Kupfers, Mangans, Eisens, Zinks und anderer Metalle. Dabei können die Metallkationen in den verschiedenen ihnen zukommenden Wertigkeiten vorliegen. 40 Mit diesen verschiedenen beispielhaften Aufzählungen ist keine Limitierung verbunden.
Die Verbindungen der Formel I können nach einer ganzen Reihe von Methoden, wie z.B. nachfolgend aufgeführt, hergestellt werden. In den Formeln II bis XVIII haben Rj 45 bis Rn und X die unter Formel I angegebenen Bedeutungen, Hai steht für Halogen, vorzugsweise Chlor oder Brom und M für Wasserstoff oder ein Metall- vorzugsweise Alkalioder Erdalkalikation.

Es kann hierbei vorzugsweise ein reaktionsfähiges Derivat einer Verbindung der Formel III, wie z.B. das Säurehalogenid, Säureanhydrid oder der Ester eingesetzt werden.

Diastereomere gespalten werden; so z.B. durch fraktionierte Kristallisation der Salze von XII mit einer optisch aktiven Base und Weiterreaktion der optisch reinen Verbindungen XII zu I oder z.B. durch fraktionierte Kristallisation von II mit einer optisch aktiven Säure und Weiterreaktion der optisch aktiven Verbindungen II zu I usw. Die optischen Isomeren bzw. Diastereomeren I besitzen unterschiedliche mikrobizide Wirkungen.
Je nach Substitution können weitere asymmetrische Kohlenstoffatome im Molekül vorhanden sein.

Unabhängig von der genannten optischen Isomerie wird in der Regel eine Atropisomerie um die Phenyl -N< Achse in den Fällen beobachtet, wo der Phenylring mindestens in 2,6-Stellung und gleichzeitig unsymmetrisch zu dieser Achse (gegebenenfalls also auch durch die Anwesenheit zusätzlicher Substituenten) substituiert ist.
Sofern keine gezielte Synthese zur Isolierung reiner Isomerer durchgeführt wird, fällt normalerweise ein Produkt der Formel I als Gemisch dieser möglichen Isomeren an.
Die Verbindungen der Formel I können für sich allein oder zusammen mit geeigneten Trägern und/oder anderen Zuschlagstoffen verwendet werden. Geeignete Träger und Zuschlagstoffe können fest oder flüssig sein und entsprechen den in der Formulierungstechnik üblichen Stoffen wie z. B. natürlichen oder regenerierten mineralischen Stoffen, Lö-sungs-, Dispergier-, Netz-, Haft-, Verdickungs-, Binde- oder Düngemitteln.
Der Gehalt an Wirkstoff in handelsfahigen Mitteln liegt zwischen 0,1 bis 90%.
Zur Applikation können die Verbindungen der Formel I in den folgenden Aufarbeitungsformen vorliegen (wobei die Gewichts-Prozentangaben in Klammern vorteilhafte Mengen an Wirkstoff darstellen).
Feste Aufarbeitungsformen:
Stäubemittel und Streumittel (bis zu 10%) Granulate, Umhüllungsgranulate, Imprägnierungsgranulate und Homogengranulate, Pellets (Körner) (1 bis 80%);

Flüssige Aufarbeitungsformen:
a) in Wasser dispergierbare Wirkstoffkonzentrate: Spritzpulver (wettable powders) und Pasten (25-90% in der Handelspackung, 0,01 bis 15% in gebrauchsfertiger Lösung); Emulsions- und Lösungskonzentrate (10 bis 50%; 0,01 bis 15% in gebrauchsfertiger Lösung);
b) Lösungen (0,1 bis 20%); Aerosole.
Solche Mittel gehören ebenfalls zur Erfindung.
Es wurde überraschend gefunden, dass Verbindungen mit der Struktur der Formel I ein für die praktischen Bedürfnisse sehr günstiges Mikröbizid-Spektrum zum Schutze von Kulturpflanzen aufweisen. Kulturpflanzen seien im Rahmen vorliegender Erfindung beispielsweise Getreide, Mais, Reis, Gemüse, Zuckerrüben, Soja, Erdnüsse, Obstbäume, Zierpflanzen, vor allem aber Reben, Hopfen, Gurkengewächse (Gurken, Kürbis, Melonen), Solanaceen wie Kartoffeln, Tabak und Tomaten, sowie auch Bananen-, Kakao- und Na-turkautschuk-Gewächse.
Mit den Wirkstoffen der Formel I können an Pflanzen oder Pflanzenteilen (Früchte, Blüten, Laubwerk, Stengel, Knollen, Wurzeln) dieser und verwandter Nutzkulturen die auftretenden Mikroorganismen eingedämmt oder vernichtet werden, wobei auch später zuwachsende Pflanzenteile von derartigen Mikroorganismen verschont bleiben. Die Wirkstoffe sind gegen die den folgenden Klassen angehörenden phytopathogenen Pilze wirksam: Ascomycetes (z.B. Erysi-phaceae, Venturia); Basidiomycetes wie vor allem Rostpilze, Puccinia, Fungi imperfecti (z. B. Moniliales, Cercospora, Pi-ricularia); dann aber besonders gegen die der Klasse der Phycomycetes angehörenden Oomycetes wie Phytophthora, Pythium oder Plasmopara.
Sie sind ferner gegen phytopathogene Bakterien wie Xanthomonas sp., Pseudomonas sp., Erwinia sowie Coryne-bacterium aktiv.
Überdies wirken die Verbindungen der Formel I systemisch. Sie können ferner als Beizmittel zur Behandlung von Saatgut (Früchte, Knollen, Körner) und Pflanzenstecklingen zum Schutz vor Pilzinfektionen sowie gegen im Erdboden auftretende Mikroorganismen eingesetzt werden.
Die Erfindung betrifft somit ferner die Verwendung der Verbindungen der Formel I zur Bekämpfung phytopathoge-ner Mikroorganismen.
Die nachfolgenden Substituententypen oder Kombinationen dieser untereinander werden bevorzugt.

b) Zu 18,6 g des gemäss a) erhaltenen Esters und 6,2 g Soda in 80 ml Toluol wurden unter Rühren innerhalb von 5 Minuten 12,6 g Methoxyessigsäurechlorid zugetropft, wobei die Temperatur des Reaktionsgemisches von 20° auf 50° an-s stieg. Anschliessend wurden noch 60 Minuten bei Raumtemperatur gerührt, filtriert und das Lösungsmittel abgedampft. Das Rohprodukt wurde im Hochvakuum destilliert; Sdp. 160-16270,08 mbar.
Auf eine nach a) analoge Weise oder nach einer der hier-lo in beschriebenen Methoden können folgende Ausgangsstoffe der Formel II hergestellt werden:
a) 99 g 2,6-Dimethyl-3-äthöxymethylanilin, 167 g 2-Brompropionsäuremethylester und 67 g Natriumhydrogen-carbonat wurden 20 Stunden bei 140° gerührt, gekühlt, mit 400 ml Wasser verdünnt und mit Diäthyläther extrahiert. Der Extrakt wurde mit wenig Wasser gewaschen, über Natriumsulfat getrocknet, filtriert und der Äther abgedampft. Nach dem Abdestillieren des überschüssigen 2-Brompro-pionsäuremethylesters wurde das Rohprodukt im Hochvakuum destilliert; Sdp. 123°/0,08 mbar.

Zu 11,5 gN-(r-Methoxycarbonyl-äthyl)-2,6-dimethyI-3-2',4'-dichIorphenoxymethylanilin in 100 ml Toluol wurden is unter Rühren innerhalb von 10 Minuten 3,7 g Chloracetyl-chlorid zugetropft, wobei die Temperatur des Reaktionsgemisches auf 30° anstieg. Anschliessend wurden 5 Stunden auf 90° erwärmt, der entstehende Chlorwasserstoff durch Durchleiten von Stickstoff beseitigt und nach dem Abkühlen 20 das Lösungsmittel abgedampft. Der ölige Rückstand wurde im Hochvakuum destilliert; Sdp. 242°/0,07 mbar.

Die Wirkstoffe werden mit den Trägerstoffen vermischt und vermählen und können in dieser Form zur Anwendung verstäubt werden.
Beispiel 4
Granulat:
Zur Herstellung eines 5%igen Granulates werden die folgenden Stoffe verwendet:
5 Teile Wirkstoff 0,25 T eile Epichlorhydrin,
0,25 Teile Cetylpolyglykoläther,
3,50 Teile Polyäthylenglykol 91 Teile Kaolin (Korngrösse 0,3-0,8 mm). Die Aktivsubstanz wird mit Epichlorhydrin vermischt und mit 6 Teilen Aceton gelöst, hierauf wird Polyäthylenglykol und Cetylpolyglykoläther zugesetzt. Die so erhaltene Lösungwird auf Kaolin aufgesprüht, und anschliessend wird das Aceton im Vakuum verdampft. Ein derartiges Mikro-granulat wird vorteilhaft zur Bekämpfung von Bodenpilzen verwendet.

Zur Herstellung eines a) 70%igen b) 40%igen c) und d) 25%igen e) 10%igen Spritzpulvers werden folgende Bestandteile verwendet.

Die Wirkstoffe werden in geeigneten Mischern mit den Zuschlagstoffen innig vermischt und auf entsprechenden Mühlen und Walzen vermählen. Man erhält Spritzpulver von vorzüglicher Benetzbarkeit und Schwebefähigkeit, die sich mit Wasser zu Suspensionen der gewünschten Konzentration verdünnen und insbesondere zur Blattapplikation verwenden lassen.
Beispiel 6 Emulgierbare Konzentrate:
Zur Herstellung eines 25%igen emulgierbaren Konzentrates werden folgende Stoffe verwendet:
25 Teile Wirkstoff 2,5 Teile epoxydiertes Pflanzenöl,
10 Teile eines Alkylarylsulfonat/Fettalkoholpolyglykol-
äther-Gemisches,
5 Teile Dimethylformamid,
57,5 Teile Xylol.
Aus solchen Konzentraten können durch Verdünnen mit Wasser Emulsionen der gewünschten Anwendungkonzentration hergestellt werden, die besonders zur Blattapplikation geeignet sind.
Biologische Beispiele
Beispiel 7
Wirkung gegen Phytophthora auf Tomatenpflanzen a) Residual-protektive Wirkung
Tomatenpflanzen wurden nach 3wöchiger Anzucht mit einer aus Spritzpulver des Wirkstoffes hergestellten Spritzbrühe (0,06% Aktivsubstanz) besprüht. Nach 24 Stunden wurden die behandelten Pflanzen mit einer Sporangiensuspension des Pilzes infiziert. Die Beurteilung des Pilzbefalls erfolgte nach einer Inkubation der infizierten Pflanzen während 5 Tagen bei 90-100% relativer Luftfeuchtigkeit und 20 °C.
b) Residual-kurative Wirkung
Tomatenpflanzen wurden nach 3wöchiger Anzucht mit einer Sporangiensuspension des Pilzes infiziert. Nach einer Inkubation von 22 Stunden in einer Feuchtkammer bei 90-100% relativer Luftfeuchtigkeit und 20 °C wurden die infizierten Pflanzen getrocknet und mit einer aus Spritzpulver des Wirkstoffes hergestellten Spritzbrühe (0,06% Aktivsubstanz) besprüht. Nach dem Antrocknen des Spritzbelages wurden die behandelten Pflanzen wieder in die Feuchtkammer gebracht. Die Beurteilung des Pilzbefalls erfolgte 5 Tage nach der Infektion.
c) Systemische Wirkung
Zu Tomatenpflanzen wurde nach 3wöchiger Anzucht eine aus Spritzpulver des Wirkstoffes hergestellte Spritzbrühe gegossen (0,006% Aktivsubstanz bezogen auf das Erdvolumen). Es wurde dabei darauf geachtet, dass die Spritzbrühe nicht mit den oberirdischen Pflanzenteilen in Berührung kam. Nach 48 Stunden wurden die behandelten Pflanzen mit einer Sporangiensuspension des Pilzes infiziert. Die Beurteilung des Pilzbefalls erfolgte nach einer Inkubation der infizierten Pflanzen während 5 Tagen bei 90-100% relativer Luftfeuchtigkeit und 20 °C.
Beispiel 8
Wirkung gegen Plasmopara viticola auf Reben Im 4-5-Blattstadium wurden Rebensämlinge mit einer aus Spritzpulver des Wirkstoffes hergestellten Spritzbrühe (0,06% Aktivsubstanz) besprüht. Nach 24 Stunden wurden die behandelten Pflanzen mit einer Sporangiensuspension des Pilzes infiziert. Nach einer Inkubation während 6 Tagen bei 95-100% relativer Luftfeuchtigkeit und 20 °C wurde der Pilzbefall beurteilt.
Beispiel 9
Wirkung gegen Pythium debaryanum auf Rüben Wirkung nach Bodenapplikation
Der Pilz wurde auf Karottenschnitzel-Nährlösung kultiviert und einer Erde-Sand-Mischung beigegeben. Die so infizierte Erde wurde in Blumentöpfe abgefüllt und mit Zuk-kerrübensamen besät. Gleich nach der Aussaat wurden die als Spritzpulver formulierten Versuchspräparate als wässrige Suspensionen über die Erde gegossen (20 ppm Wirkstoff bezogen auf das Erd volumen). Die Töpfe wurden darauf während 2-3 Wochen im Gewächshaus bei ca. 20 °C aufgestellt. Die Erde wurde dabei durch leichtes Überbrausen stets gleichmässig feucht gehalten.
Bei der Auswertung der Tests wurde der Auflauf der Zuckerrübenpflanzen sowie der Anteil gesunder und kranker Pflanzen bestimmt.
Wirkung nach Beizapplikation
Der Pilz wurde auf Karottenschnitzel-Nährlösung kultiviert und einer Erde-Sand-Mischung beigegeben. Die so infizierte Erde wurde in Erdschalen abgefüllt und mit Zuckerrübensamen besät, die mit den als Beizpulver formulierten Versuchspräparaten gebeizt worden waren (0,06% Wirkstoff).
Die besäten Töpfe wurden während 2-3 Wochen im Gewächshaus bei ca. 20 °C aufgestellt. Die Erde wurde dabei durch leichtes Überbrausen stets gleichmässig feucht gehalten. Bei der Auswertung wurde der Auflauf der Zuckerrübenpflanzen bestimmt.
Verbindungen der Formel I zeigten eine gute Wirkung in den obigen Versuchen. So wurde z. B. bei Anwendung der nachfolgenden Verbindungen auf den jeweiligen Pilzen der Befall im Vergleich mit Kontrollpflanzen auf weniger als 20% zurückgedrängt.
Bei Phytophthora infestans: Nrn. 1.1,1.8,1.12, 1.15, 1.19,1.23,1.25,1.27,1.29,1.31,1.32,1.34,1.37, 1.44,1.47, 1.51,1.56, 1.78,1.83,1.85,2.1 und 2.5.
Bei Plasmopara viticola: Nrn. 1.1,1.8,1.12, 1.19,1.27, 1.34,1.37,1.44,1.47, 1.56 und.1.78.
Bei Pythium debaryanum: Nrn. 1.1,1.8,1.15, 1.19,1.27, 1.31,1.34, 1.47,1.51,1.56,1.83 und 2.1.

Wirkung gegen Xanthomonas vesicatoria auf Paprika a) Residual-protektive Wirkung
Paprikapflanzen der Sorte «California Wonder» wurden nach 3wöchiger Anzucht im Gewächshaus mit der Prüfsubstanz in Form einer Spritzbrühe (0,06% Aktivsubstanz) besprüht. Nach eintägigem Antrocknen dieses Spritzbelages wurden die Pflanzen in einem Klimaraum bei 26 °C und 95-100% relativer Luftfeuchtigkeit aufgestellt und durch Besprühen der Blattunterseiten mit einer standardisierten Suspension von Xanthomonas vesicatoria infiziert. Nach 6tägiger Inkubation in demselben Raum entstanden auf den Blättern runde, anfangs wässrige, später nekrotische, aufgehellte Flecken. Das Ausmass dieser Flecken diente zur Beurteilung der residualen Wirksamkeit der Prüfsubstanz.
b) Systemische Wirkung
Paprikapflänzen der Sorte «California Wonder» wurden nach 3wöchiger Anzucht im Gewächshaus mit einer Suspension der Prüfsubstanz begossen (0,006% Aktivsubstanz bezogen auf das Erdvolumen). Drei Tage nach dieser Behandlung wurden die Pflanzen in einem Klimaraum bei 26 °C und 95-100% relativer Luftfeuchtigkeit aufgestellt und durch Besprühen der Blattunterseiten mit einer standardisierten Suspension von Xanthomonas vesicatoria infiziert. - 5. N-(l '-Methoxycarbonyl-äthyl)-N-methoxyacetyl-2,6-dimethyl-3-sek. butoxymethyl-anilin gemäss Anspruch 4. 35 6. Schädlingsbekämpfungsmittel enthaltend als mindestens eine aktive Komponente eine Verbindung der Formel I gemäss Anspruch 1, zusammen mit einem geeigneten Trägerstoff und/oder einem oberflächenaktiven Zusatz.

- 8. Mittel gemäss Anspruch 6, enthaltend als aktive Komponente der Formel I eine Verbindung gemäss Anspruch 3.

Verfahren zur Herstellung von Verbindungen der Formel I des Anspruchs 1 durch Acylierung einer Verbin-50 dung der Formel IIR.XCH0 „ 4 \ l RnJ i55NHY(II)mit einer Carbonsäure der Formel IIIhoocr5(III)65oder mit einem reaktionsfähigen Derivat davon, wobei die Substituenten Rt bis Rs, X und Y die für Formel I gegebene Bedeutung haben.
- 12. Verfahren gemäss Anspruch 12, wobei als reaktionsfähiges Derivat der Formel III das Säurehalogenid oder das Säureanhydrid eingesetzt wird.
- 13. Verfahren zur Bekämpfung oder Verhütung eines Befalls von phytopathogenen Mikroorganismen durch Applikation einer Verbindung der Formel I gemäss einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5.
- 14. Verfahren gemäss Anspruch 13, wobei die Mikroorganismen phytopathogene Pilze sind.
