Description
verfahren zur Herstellung eines chromhaltigen sauren Farbstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man den metall empfindlichen Azofarbstoff aus diazotierteln 4-Chloc--6-sulfo-2-amillo-l-oxybenzol und 1 Phenyl-3-methyl-5-pyrazolocl durch Behand lung in der Wärme mit einfach chromsauren Salzen, am besten bei Gegenwart eines Re duktionsmittels und eines alkalibindenden Mittels, z. B. Ammoniumsulfat und Natrium- thiosulfat, in einen chromhaltigen sauren Farb stoff überführen kann, welcher das Chrom in maskierter Bindung enthält, indem das selbe aus der wässerigen Lösung durch Soda, Natronlauge oder Ammoniak nicht gefällt wird.
Der Farbstoff ist wasserlöslich, säure beständig, nicht kupferempfindlich und färbt animalische Fasern aus saurem Bad in walk und lichtechten roten Tönen: <I>Beispiel:</I> 5 Teile des Azofarbstoffes aus diazotier- tem 4-Chlor-6-sulfo-2-amino-l-oxybenzol und 1-Phenyl-3-methy 1-5-pyrazolon, 4 Teile Am moniumsulfat und 6 Teile Kaliumchromat werden in 500 Teilen Wasser eine Stunde ge kocht, wobei die ursprünglich braunorange Farbe der Lösung rot geworden ist.
Die Chromverbindung wird durch Aussalzen ab geschieden, abfiltriert und getrocknet.

The chromium compound is separated off by salting out, filtered off and dried.
