  Elektrode für     elektriseli    betriebene Dampfkessel.    Die bei elektrischen Dampfkesseln an  den Elektroden auftretenden Dampfblasen  sind ein Hindernis für den Stromdurchgang.  Bei starker Strombelastung kann dieses  Hindernis so gross werden, dass im Momente  der Dampfblasenbildung der Strom an den  betreffenden Elektroden ganz unterbrochen  oder zum mindesten stark geschwächt wird.  was zu einem unruhigen Betriebe führt. Es  ist bekannt, durch Vergrösserung der Elek  troden diesem Übel einigermassen abzuhel  fen. Noch wirksamer ist nach vorliegender  Erfindung eine Unterteilung der einzelnen  Elektroden in mehrere Teilelektroden. Es    treten dann nicht an allen Teilelektroden zu  gleich     Stromunterbrüche    durch starke       Dampfblasenbildung    auf.

   Die Stromschwan  kungen werden     dadurch    auf ein bedeutend  kleineres Mass zurückgeführt und der Be  trieb wird dadurch ruhiger.
