Abstract
<p>Un método para el control de olores CARACTERIZADO porque comprende contactar carbonato de calcio tratado superficialmente con sustancias olorosas, en donde el carbonato de calcio tratado superficialmente es un producto de la reacción de carbonato de calcio natural molido o precipitado con dioxido de carbono y uno o más ácidos en un medio acuoso, donde el dióxido de carbono se forma in situ mediante el tratamiento con ácido y/o es suministrado desde una fuente externa.</p>
