Abstract
Un elemento de tubería para uso con un acoplamiento de tubería que comprende un sinnúmero de segmentos unidos entre sí de extremo a extremo rodeando un espacio central para recibir dicho elemento de tubería, al menos una primera proyección arqueada posicionada en un lado de dicho acoplamiento y enfrentando un eje que se extiende a través de dicho espacio central, dicha proyección arqueada teniendo una sección transversal semicircular tomada paralelo a dicho eje, que comprende: - una pared lateral que rodea y define un orificio, dicha pared lateral que tiene una superficie externa enfrentada lejos de dicho orificio; - una ranura posicionada en dicha superficie externa de dicha pared lateral, dicha ranura que se extiende circunferencialmente alrededor de dicho orificio, dicha ranura comprendiendo: - una primera superficie lateral contigua con una primera superficie de piso, dicha primera superficie lateral y dicha primera superficie de piso juntas sosteniendo un primer arco circular de 90° cuando es visto en sección transversal tomada paralelo a un eje que se extiende coaxialmente a través de dicho orificio; - una segunda superficie lateral contigua con una segunda superficie de piso, dicha segunda superficie lateral estando en relación espaciada y enfrentando dicha primera superficie lateral, dicha segunda superficie lateral y dicha segunda superficie de piso juntas sosteniendo un segundo arco circular de 90° cuando es visto en sección transversal tomada paralelo a dicho eje que se extiende coaxialmente a través de dicho orificio
