Abstract
Esta invencion esta relacionada con la obtencion a partir de una nueva composicion farmaceutica y su proceso de obtencion a partir de los frutos de la palma real para prevenir y/o tratar la hiperplasia (HPB) y la prostatitis, asi como de la alopecia y el hirsutismo. La composicion incluye una mezcla de acidos grasos libres y/o sus esteres dentro de un rango extendido entre 8 y 28 atomos de carbono, especialmente entre 8 y 18 atomos de carbono y mas especialmente aquellos saturados de cadna lineal de 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 y 18 atomos de carbono y los monoinsaturados de 16:1 y 18:1 atomos de carbono. Esta composicion se obtiene mediante un proceso en el cual inicialmente se secan y muelen los frutos, sometiendose o no a hidrolisis basica, realizandose posteriormente una extraccion selectiva en solventes organicos.
