Abstract
La invencion esta dirigida a benzazepinas sustituidas no peptidicas de formula (I), que son utiles como antagonistas de receptor de vasopresina para tratar condiciones asociadas con actividad de receptor de vasopresina tales como aquellas que involucran resistencia vascular incrementada e insuficiencia cardiaca, incluyendo insuficiencia cardiaca congestiva, hiponatremia e hipertension, entres otras descritas; tambien se describen composiciones farmaceuticas que comprenden un compuesto de la formula (I) y metodos para tratar condiciones tales como hipertension, insuficiencia cardiaca congestiva, insuficiencia cardiaca, vasoespasmo coronario, isquemia cardiaca, cirrosis hepatica, hiponatremia, vasoespasmo renal, insuficiencia renal, nefropatia diabetica, edema cerebral, isquemia cerebral, accidente cerebrovascular, trombosis o retencion de agua.
