Abstract

Un sistema de rociadores contra incendios que comprende una red de tuberia CPVC en la cual al menos algunos de los trozos de tuberia estan interconectados con dispositivos mecanicos que tienen miembros selladores flexibles que son quimicamente compatibles con la composicion CPVC. Se pueden hacer reparaciones y modificaciones en el sistema sin el uso de un cemento solvente. Se forman junturas en linea con un dispositivo de acople incluyendo un par de segmentos de acople curvos teniendo un primer extremo, un segundo extremo y una superficie interior concava que se extiende entre el primer extremo y el segundo extremo. Un canal longitudinal se extiende a lo largo de la superficie concava. Al menos un sujetador mecanico es clave para conectar por separado el par de segmentos de acople. Un sello anular flexible se ubica dentro del canal longitudinal de cada segmento. Un dispositivo de bifurcacion conecta un tubo secundario con un tubo principal a traves de un orificio en el tubo principal utilizando un miembro sellador en forma de montura.
