Es ist "beschrieben zur optischen Spaltung von (R) (S)-(1~Phenyl-äthyl>amin, (R)(S)-2-Aminobutanol-(1) *und 1-(R)(S)-threo-1-(4-Mtrophenyl)-2-amino-propandiol(1,3), das N-ZlR)-(1-Phenyläthyl)/-beziehungsweise Ή-ZXS)-(1-Phenyläthyl)_7-bernsteinsäure-monoamid und zur Spaltung von (R)(S)-1-Phenyl~2-amino-propan das W-ZT(R) beziehungsweise (S)-(I-Phenyläthyl^-phthalsäure-monoamid zu verwenden (Helvetica Chiroica Acta 52., 329 (1969); US-PS 3.576.854).

Bei den bekannten Verfahren sind jedoch die Ausbeuten an den reinen optisch aktiven Formen unbefriedigend; häufig ist auch die Reinheit der Verfahrensprodukte ungenügend.
Ziel der Erfindung .
Ziel der Erfindung ist die Bereitstellung eines einfachen und wirtschaftlichen Verfahrens, mit dem optisch aktive physiologisch.wirksame Amine in der erforderlichen Reinheit hergestellt werden können.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, geeignete Reaktionsbedingungen und geeignete Reaktionskomponenten zur Herstellung von optisch aktiven Basen ausfindig zu machen«

Erfindungsgemäß werden optisch aktive Basen mit Hilfe von Dicarbonsäure-Halbamiden in der Weise hergestellt 9 daß man die racemischen Basen mit einem optisch aktiven Halbamid einer ungesättigten aliphatischen Dicarbonsäure der allgemeinen Formel .

umsetzt, wobei in de,r Formel I R1, R0 und R^ gleich oder •verschieden sind und Wasserstoff , ein Halogenatom, eine Hydroxygruppe, eine Methylgruppe oder eine Methoxygruppe oder zwei dieser Reste zusammen eine Methylendioxygruppe bedeuten, R, Wasserstoff oder eine Methylgruppe ist, die Reste R1-, R/- und R unabhängig voneinander Wasserstoff oder Cj-C,-Alkylgruppen darstellen und η 0 oder 1 ist und gegebenenfalls nach Fraktionierung mindestens eine optisch einheitliche Salz-Fraktion in die entsprechende optisch aktive Base und das eingesetzte Halbamid zerlegt.

Pur die erfindungsgemäße Razemat spaltung können äquivalente oder nicht äquivalente Mengen Amidsäure (0,4 - 1,2 Mol, vorzugsweise 0,5 - 1,0 Mol Amidsäure pro 1 Mol Base) und Base in einem Lösungsmittel bei Temperaturen zwischen 0 100° C beispielsweise 10 - 40° C, vorzugsweise 15 - 300C, miteinander umgesetzt werden. Die Umsetzung kann mit oder ohne

Rühren erfolgen. Gegebenenfalls ist langsames Abkühlen während der Kristallisation zweckmäßig. Animpfen mit dem vorher aus reinen Komponenten hergestellten gewünschten diastereoisomeren Salz kann empfohlen werden. Vie bei anderen Razematspaltungsverfahren sind die anzuwendenden Lösungsmittel oder Lösungsmittelgemische in weitem Bereich variierbar. Beispielsweise kommen als Lösungsmittel in Frage Alkohole, wie Methanol, Äthanol, Isopropanol, Butanol; Ketone, wie Aceton, Methyläthylketon, Methylisobutylketon; Ester, wie Essigsäureäthylester und Essigsäurebutylester; Amide, wie Dimethylformamid und Dimethylacetamid; Äther, wie Diäthyläther und Dioxan; Wasser, insbesondere in Gemischen mit organischen Lösungsmitteln. Die Lösungsmittelmenge, bezogen auf die Summe der eingesetzten Mengen an Säure und Base, beträgt im allgemeinen das zwei- bis zwanzigfache; der bevorzugte Bereich liegt etwa beim drei- bis achtfachen«
Die Amine können für die Umsetzung mit den Amidsäuren gegebenenfalls auch als entsprechende Salze mit Säuren, vorzugsweise schwachen Säuren (zum Beispiel Acetate) eingesetzt werden. Gegebenenfalls wird in einem solchen Falle auch die Amidsäure als Metallsalz (zum Beispiel Alkalisalz) eingesetzt.
Insbesondere kommen für das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren Halbamide der allgemeinen Formel

worin Rl Wasserstoff oder eine Methylgruppe und R- Wasserstoff oder eine C1-Cr-Alkylgruppe, beispielsweise eine Methylgruppe ist oder worin Rl und R_ Wasserstoff sind, in Frage. Vorzugsweise handelt es sich um Halbamide der Formel II, worin Rr eine Methylgruppe und R_ Wasserstoff ist, beispielsweise um.das Malexnsäurehalbamid des (+)-Pseudonorephedrins oder des (-)-Pseudonorephedrinse
Enthält die Aminkomponente des Halbamids der Formel I oder der Formel II mehrere Asymmetriezentren, wie zum Beispiel im Falle von Norephedrin sowie Norephedrinderivaten, die im Phenylkern substituiert sind, so ist es häufig vorteilhaft,vor der Herstellung der Halbamide die Konfiguration des einen asymmetrischen Zentrums der basischen Komponente in hierfür bekannter Weise zu ändern. Insbesondere handelt es sich hierbei um die Umlagerung von (+)-Norephedrin in (-J-^-Norephedrin ((-j-Pseudonorephedrin) bzw. von (-)-Norephedrin in (+)~y-Norephedrin ((+)-Pseudonorephedrin). Das Analoge gilt für ( + )- oder (-)-Norephedrin, welches im Phenylke rn durch die Reste R1, R-, R_ gemäß der Formel I substituiert ist. Diese Pseudoformen sind besonders für die Racematspaltung geeignet.
Die zuvor erwähnte Umlagerung von optisch aktivem Norephedrin. in das jeweils entgegengesetzt drehende Pseudonorephedrin ist in der Literatur beschrieben: Man ersetzt die OH-Gruppe des Norephedrins mittels SOCl- oder HCl durch Chlor und verseift anschließend im Reaktionsgemisch durch Kochen mit H2O wieder zur OH-Gruppe (Waldensche Umkehr)· Man kann auch vor der Chlorierung die Aminogruppe zum Schutz acylieren (ζ, B. acetylieren) und anschließend die Acylgruppe in üblicher Weise durch Hydrolyse oder Hydrogenolyse abspalten. Ganz

analog wird im Fälle der Norephedrinderivate verfahren, die im Phenylkern durch die Reste R1, R2 und R„ substituiert sind.
In der Regel fällt bei dem erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren nach der Umsetzung des Halbamids I mit der Base die eine reine diastereomere Form unmittelbar aus, während die andere in Lösung bleibt. Falls jedoch in dem einen oder anderen Fall die ausfallende diastereomere Form durch die andere Form stärker verunreinigt ist, dann erfolgt die Reinherstellung der einen Form in der hierfür üblichen Weise durch fraktionierte Kristallisation.
Die gemäß dem Verfahren der Erfindung erhaltenen Diastereomere können in leichter Weise unter Verwendung von Alkali (zum Beispiel Alkalimetallhydroxide wie Natrium- oder Kaliumhydroxid), von Ammoniak oder einer Mineralsäure wie Salzoder Schwefelsäure zersetzt werden. Das schwer lösliche Diastereomer wird zum Beispiel mit dem Alkali (vorzugsweise oder NaOH) behandelt und, falls die Base nicht ausfällt,
mit einem mit Wasser nicht verträglichen bzw. nicht mischbaren Lösungsmittel wie Chloroform, Methylenchlorid, Benzol oder Äther extrahiert, wobei die optisch aktive Form in großer Reinheit aus der organischen Phase isoliert werden kann. Die Mutterlauge, aus der das schwer lösliche Diastereo.mere abgetrennt wurde, wird im allgemeinen abdestilliert und der Rückstand in einem Lösungsmittel in dem sich die restliche (-)-Base unlöslich abscheidet (zum Beispiel aromatische Kohlenwasserstoffe wie Toluol, Xylol, Benzol) aufgenommen. Nach einigen Stunden wird die (i)-Base abgetrennt und das Filtrat eingedampft, wobei der andere Antipode der Base zurückbleibt.
Die wässrige Phase, aus der die optisch aktive Base extrahiert wurde, wird dann mit einer Mineralsäure (HCl, HpSOr) angesäuert, wobei die Amidsäure ausfällt. Die so zurückgewonnenen Amidsäuren können meistens ohne weitere Reinigung für die Razematspaltung wieder eingesetzt werden,
Zerlegt man die bei der Razematspaltung erhaltenen Salze mit Säuren (Mineralsäuren wie HCl, HpSCO, so fällt die Amidsäure zuerst aus. Das Filtrat wird direkt oder nach Einengen alkalisch gestellt und die optisch aktive Base durch ein Lösungsmittel (niedere aliphatische Halogenkohlenwasserstoffe wie Chloroform oder niedere aliphatische Dialkyläther wie DiäthylätherJ extrahiert.
Als racemische Basen, die gemäß dem Verfahren gespalten werden können, eignen sich insbesondere Amine der Formel

Welche Amidsäure sich für welche Base im speziellen Fall
am beaten eignet, kann durch Vorversuch,© geklärt werden.
Ein großer Fortschritt des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens liegt darin, daß das bei der Racematspaltung als Nebenprodukt anfallende pharmazeutisch nicht nutzbare und auch nicht durch Razemisierung in das urpprüngliche Razemat zurückverwandelbare Antipode in die Amidsäure I übergeführt werden kann. Dadurch kann mit diesem sonst wsrtlosaiNebenprodukt neues Razemat gespalten werden.
Die Vorteile des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens werden, nachstehend an der technisch, wichtigen Razematspaltung des (-)-Norephedrins (NE) erläutert. Der pharmazeutisch nicht nutzbare rechtsdrehendβ Antipode (+)-Norephedrin ((+)-NE; Formel IV) wird in bekannter Weise (siehe Seite 6) in das (-)-^«»Norephedrin (Formel V, (-)-^-NE) umgelagert.

Schon beim Verrühren dieser Säure mit (-)-Norephedrin in einem Lösungsmittel fällt das schwerlösliche (-)-NE-Salz der (+J-^-NEMA aus, Saure oder alkalische Zerlegung des erhaltenen Salzes ergibt (-)-Norephedrin sowie die unveränderte ( + J-^-NEMA. Die geringen (-f-)-Y'-NEMA-Verluste lassen sich einfach von dem ebenfalls bei der Razematspaltung aus Mutterlaugen anfallenden (+)-Norephedrin ausgehend durch die oben beschriebene Reaktionsfolge ausgleichen·
Bei Verwendung der der Formel Vl-analogen Bernsteinsäure- oder Phthaisäurederivate verläuft dagegen die Razematspaltung von (*-}"-Norephedrin nxir sehr unbefriedigend; Ausbeuten und Kristallisationsfälligkeit der diastereomeren

Salze sind schlecht und außerdem fällt als schwerlösliche Komponente bei der Salzbildung die unerwünschte (+)-NB- ; Form zuerst aus. Es ist überraschend, daß durch den Übergang von einer gesättigten bzw· einer aromatischen Dicarbonsäure zu einer ungesättigten Dicarbonsäure die hieraus und dem wertlosen optischen Antipoden eines Amins der Formel III hergestellten Amidsäuren solche diastereomeren Salze von optisch aktiven Basen bilden, die die für eine Razematspaltung gewünschten Löslichkeits- und Kristallisationseigenschaften in optimaler Weise besitzen. Darüberhinaus ist es überraschend, daß bei Salzen der Amidsäuren, deren zugrundeliegende Basen mehr als ein AsymmetrieZentrum besitzen, die- Lö'slichkeitsunterschiede noch erhöht werden können, wenn man vor der Herstellung der Amidsäure eine Konfigurationsumkehr an einem dieser Zentren vornimmt (zum Beispiel Umwandlung von Norephedrin in die entsprechende Pseudoform)*
Ein weiterer Vorteil liegt in der einfachen Rückgewinnung der eingesetzten Amidsäuren nach der Racematspaltung.
Ausführungsbeispiel .
Die Erfindung wird nachstehend an einigen Ausführungsbeispielen näher erläutert. ·

(-)-Norephedrin Λ
250 g (-)-Norephedrin werden mit 206 g (+)-ψ-Ν-(ΐ-Methyl-2-phenyl-2~hydroxyäthyl)-maleinsäure-monoamid (Abkürzung: ( + )-,^/-ne'ma) in 2,28 Liter Methyläthylketon 6 Stunden bei einer Innentemperatur von 10-12 C gerührt. Danach saugt man das ausgefallene (+)-ty-NEMA-Salz des (-)-Norephedrins ab. Nach Vaschen mit Aceton wird bei 60 C im Vakuum getrocknet.
Ausbeute: 309,8 g =93,6 # der Theorie; F. 148 - 150° C.pG2 (2»5 i» in 96 $igem Äthanol) : Sy9 4°.
300 g dieses Salzes werden in 250 ml Wasser suspendiert und mit 68ml 45 $ige Natronlauge versetzt. Man schüttelt einmal mit 45Ο ml und sechsmal mit je I50 ml Chloroform aus. Die vereinigten Chloroformextrakte werden mit Kaliumcarbonat getrocknet und das Lösungsmittel unter vermindertem Druck abdestilliert. Den Rückstand löst man in 450 ml Toluol, impft nach dem Abkühlen mit (-)-Norephedrin-Base und stellt 12 Stunden in Wasser von 10 C, wobei eine geringe Menge an unverändertem (-)-Norephedrin ausfällt (1O,5 g nach Trocknen). Das Toluol-Filtrat wird im Vakuum abdestilliert. Der beim Abkühlen kristallisierende Rückstand besteht aus reinem (-)-Norephedrin.
Ausbeute: 98,9 g = 87 # der Theorie; F. 49 - 51° C. ß^ (5 # in Äthanol): -13,84°,
Rückgewinnung der (+)-^
Die beim Ausschütteln des (-)-Norephedrins abgetrennte wässrige Phase wird unter Kühlen mit 750 ml Wasser und 204 ml konzentrierter Salzsäure versetzt. Man kühlt noch einige

Stunden mit Wasser, saugt ab, wäscht mit Wasser und trocknet bei 60 C im Vakuum.
Ausbeute: 176 g $ 9k $> der Theorie; F. 1 k9 - 151 ° C. ° °
n° (2»5 1° in 96 #igem Äthanol): +17,2
(+)-Norephedrin
Das bei der Razematspaltung des (-)-Nprephedrins erhaltene Acetonfiltrat wird unter Kühlen mit konzentrierter Schwefelsäure angesäuert. Das ausgefallene rohe (+)-Norephedrxnsulfat wird abgesaugt und bei 80 C getrocknet. Rohausbeute: 168. g.
156., 5 S dieses Sulfats werden in 313 ml Wasser verrührt, mit 80 ml h$ $iger Natronlauge alkalisiert und sechsmal mit Chloroform ausgeschüttelt. Nach Trocknen und abdestillieren der vereinigten Extrakte löst man in ^70 ml Toluol, impft mit (ί)-Norephedrin und läßt 12 Stunden bei 10° C stehen. Man saugt die ausgefallene (-)-Norephedrinbase ab (24,6 g) und destilliert das Toluol unter vermindertem Druck ab. Ausbeute: 95,2 g = 80,5 1° der Theorie; F. k8 - 50° C. ° (5 1° in Äthanol): +.13,55°.
(-)-Norephedrin
10 g (ί)-Norephedrin werden zusammen mit 16,5 g (+)-N-(i Methylr2-phenyl-2-hydroxyäthyl)-maleinsäure-monoamid (Abkürzung: (+)-NEMA) in 160 ml Methylisobutylketon bei 5O0 C 6 Stunden verrührt. Man läßt über Nach't bei 50° -C stehen, saugt ab, wäscht mit Methylisobutylketon und trocknet bei 60° C im Vakuum.
Ausbeute an (-)-Norephedrin-(+)-NEMA-SaIz: 9,7 g = 73 ^ der Theorie; F. I5O - 166° C.

Die so erhaltenen 9t7 S des (-)-Norephedrin-Salzes werden in 75 ml Wasser suspendiert, 2,2 ml konzentierte Salzsäure zugesetzt und noch 15 Minuten gerührt. Die ausgefallene (+)-NEMA wird abgesaugt, mit Wasser gewaschen und bei 60 C getrocknet. Ausbeute: 5»7 g = 9^»6 $ der Theorie.
Zur Isolierung des (-)-Norephedrins wird das wässrige Filtrat im Vakuum eingedampft, der Rückstand mit Aceton verrührt und das rohe Hydrochlorid abgesaugt. Durch Umkristallisieren aus Isopropanol werden 3»3 g (-)-Norephedrin-hydrochlorid erhalten. Ausbeute: 73,h $ der Theorie; F. 166 - 171° C. (in Wasser, 5 $) : -32,3°,
(+)-Phenylisopropylamin
hO g (-)-Phenylisopropylamin und 36,9 g (+J-^-NEMA werden in 190 ml Aceton 10 Stunden gerührt. Man läßt noch 15 Stunden bei 20 C stehen und saugt das auskristallisierte (+)-Phenylisopropylamin-Salz der (+)-^-NEMA ab. Ausbeute: 52,^ g = 92,2 der Theorie. F. I5O0 C.
/&7ϋ° ^2»5 ^ in Äthanol): -A8,0°.
50 g dieses Salzes werden 30 Minuten zusammen mit 30 ml Wasser und 11,7 ral konzentrierte Salzsäure verrührt. Man saugt die ausgefallene (+)-^-NEMA ab und trocknet im Vakuum (35 S - 95»5 i° der Theorie). Das wässrige Filtrat wird im Vakuum eingeengt, mit Natronlauge stark alkalisch gestellt und das optisch aktive Amin durch Ausschütteln (5 x) mit Chloroform abgetrennt. Nach Abdestillieren des Chloroforms wird der Rückstand in trockenem Äther gelöst und das

(+)-Phenylisopropylamin mit isopropanolischer Salzsäure ausgefällt. Man läßt 2 bis 3 Tage im Kühlschrank stehen und saugt dann das Hydrochlorid ab.
Ausbeute: 17,2 g = 76,2 $ der Theorie; F. des Hydrochlorids 149 - 151° C. .
Z9L7d° (5 $> in Vasser)ί +24,2° (Hydrochlorid).
( + ) - und (-)-Qr-Phenyläthylamin
10Og racemisches Ctf-Phenyläthylamin und 102,8 g (-)-^Jf-NEMA verden in 1 Liter Aceton 7 Stunden bei 20 C verrührt. Man läßt über -Nacht stehen, saugt ab und. kristallisiert aus Äthanol um. Ausbeute: 113,9 g Salz = 7^,5 $ der Theorie. F. 1^9 - 151° C.
^° (2,5 % in Äthanol): +52,81°.
63»3 S dieses Salzes verrührt man 20 Minuten mit 390 ml Vasser und 14,5 ml konzentrierter Salzsäure, läßt einige Stunden bei 10° C stehen und saugt die (-)-ψ-ΝΕΜΑ ab g = 98 $ der Theorie).
Das wässrige Filtrat wird stark eingeengt, mit 50 ml .32.$ige Natronlauge versetzt und viermal mit Äther ausgeschüttelt.
Die vereinigten Ätherextrakte werden mit KÖH getrocknet, der Äther abdestilliert und der flüssige Rückstand bei 12 mm Hg destilliert. Man erhält das (+)-o(-Phenyläthylamin in einer Ausbeute von 19,9 g (= 93,2 $ der Theorie); F. 68 - 700C.
° (5 ^ in Benzo1): °
Zur Herstellung des (-)-Qr-Phenyläthylamins kann das Aceton-Filtrat der Salzfällung eingedampft Und der Rückstand destilliert werden. Man erhält das linksdrehende Amin mit einer Ausbeute von 88 $. Die spezifische Drehung liegt zwischen und 35°.
Optisch reinstes (-)-Ol'-Phenyläth.ylamin /_O(J-~ : -kO° kann durch Umsetzung der (-)-Base mit (+)-^-NEMA erhalten werden. Mengenverhältnisse, Versuchsbedingungen und Ausbeuten sind wie bei der obengenannten Beschreibung der ( + )-0C-Phenyläthylamin-Hersteilung.
(+)- und (-)-p-Hydroxy-norephedrin
Ein Gemisch aus 100 g (-)-p-Hydroxy-norephedrin, 7^,5 g (+)-1f-NEMA und 1,05 Liter Aceton wird 20 Stunden bei 20 bis 23° C gerührt und anschließend noch 48 Stunden stehen gelassen. Man saugt ab und trocknet im Vakuum bei .60° C. Ausbeute: 86,8 g =69,7 # der Theorie. F. 98 - 104° C, ZQl7d° (5 ^ in Äthanol):-62,5°.
80 g dieses (+)-TP-NEMA-Salzes werden ca. 1 Stunde mit 96 ml 2nNaOH bei Raumtemperatur gerührt. Man stellt über Nacht in den Kühlschrank, saugt ab und wäscht mit wenig Wasser und trocknet bei 4oQ C im Vakuum. Ausbeute: 23,7 S = 73*8 $> der Theorieβ
Zur weiteren Reinigung kann das so erhaltene (-)-p-Hydroxynorephedrin aus Isopropanol umkristallisiert werden.
F. 164 - 1670 C0 /pC7v°'{3,5 $ in InHCl): -40,94°.
Das (+)-p-Hydroxy-norephedrin kann aus der Aeetonmutterlauge durch Zusatz von ca. 70 S (-)-ψ-ΝΕΜΑ und mehrtägiges Stehenlassen (ca. 3 Tage) erhalten werden, wobei die Norephedrin-Verbindung in Form des (-)-^~NEMA-Salzes ausfällt. Dieses Salz kann dann in üblicher Weise zerlegt werden. Setzt man (~)-p-Hydroxynorephedrin wie eingangs angegeben mit (-)-^-ΝΕΜΑ umr so erhält man die reine (+)-Form unmittelbar.

( + )- und (-)-p-Hydroxy-norephedrin
Ein Gemisch aus 100 g (+)-p-Hydroxy-norephedrin, \k9 g (-)-NEMA und 1,25 1 absoluter Äthylalkohol wird acht Stunden bei 20 C gerührt und weitere 16 Stunden stehen gelassen. Man saugt das auskristallisierte (-)-NEMA-Salz des (-)-p-Hydroxy-norephedrins ab und kocht zur Reinigung mit 550 ml Isopropanol aus. Nach dem Erkalten wird abgesaugt und im Vakuum bei 60 C getrocknet. Ausbeute: 94,3 g = 75,7 # der Theorie. F: 163 - 1650C. jjfcj' p° (1 i> in absolutem Äthanol): +4,1°.
Die freie Base wird aus diesem Salz analog Beispiel 5 gewonnen. Ausbeute: 72,0 ^. F.: 162 - 166° C.
J^ (2 % in absolutem Äthanol): -17,5° £ (3,5 * in InHCl): -4o,7°
Das äthanolische Filtrat von der Razematspaltung wird im Vakuum eingedampft und der Rückstand aus Isopropanol umkristallisiert«, Man erhält 127,5 g rohes (-)-NEMA-SaIz des (+)-p-Hydroxy-norephedrins. Durch Verrühren mit I52 ml 2nNaOH und anschließendem zwölfstündigem Stehen im Kühlschrank wird daraus die (+)-Base abgeschieden. Man saugt ab und kristallisert aus Isopropanol um. Ausbeute: 60tk # F.: 163 - i66° C.

Claims (8)
1· Verfahren zur Herstellung optisch aktiver Basen mit Hilfe von Dicarbonsäure-Halbamiden, gekennzeichnet dadurch, daß man die racemischen Basen mit einem optisch aktiven Halbamid einer ungesättigten aliphatischen Dicarbonsäure der allgemeinen Formel
\\-CH(OH) - CHR4 - (CH2)n -N-CO- CRg = CR7 -
R-
umsetzt, wobei in der Formel I R-, R2 und R- gleich oder verschieden sind und Wasserstoff, ein Halogenatöm, eine Hydroxygruppe, eine Methylgruppe oder eine Methoxygruppe oder zwei dieser Reste zusammen eine Methylendioxygruppe bedeuten, R, Wasserstoff oder eine Methylgruppe ist, die Reste Rf-, Rg und R7 unabhängig voneinander Wasserstoff oder Cj-C.-Alkylgruppen darstellen und η 0 oder 1 ist und gegebenenfalls nach Fraktionierung mindestens eine optisch einheitliche Salz-Fraktion in die entsprechende optisch aktive Base und das eingesetzte Halbamid zerlegt.

2. Verfahren nach Punkt 1, gekennzeichnet dadurch, daß die Umsetzung mit Halbamiden der allgemeinen Formel
(f \-CH(OH) - CHE4 - W - CO - CH = CH - CO3H II
worin R. Wasserstoff oder eine Methylgruppe und Er Wasserstoff oder eine Cj-C.-Alkylgruppe ist, erfolgt.

in der Formel II R, eine Methylgruppe und R,- Wasser- · stoff ist.
5. Verfahren nach Punkt 2, gekennzeichnet dadurch, daß das Maleinsäurehalbamid des (+)-Pseudonorephedrins oder des (-)-Pseudonorephedrins verwendet wird.
6» Verfahren nach einem oder mehreren der vorangegangenen Punkte, gekennzeichnet dadurch, daß als racemis'che Basen Amine der allgemeinen Formel .

8. Verfahren nach einem oder mehreren der vorangegangenen Punkte, gekennzeichnet dadurch, daß racemische Amine der Formel III eingesetzt werden, worin R^, Rp, R^ und Rp-Wasserstoff bedeuten, Rß eine Hydroxygruppe,' R, Wasserstoff oder eine Methylgruppe und η = 0 ist.
