Description

The invention relates to a horse ball protector.

Bekannt sind Formkörper aus Gummi zum Bewahren der Nufkronen und Kronenbeine der Vorderhufe von Pferden vor Verletzungen, insbesondere durch loses Gestein u.dgl., jedoch auch durch die eigenen Hufe des Pferdes bei bestimmten Gangarten. Eine derartige Gummifilocke ist oberhalb der Hufkrone im Bereich des Kronengelenkes am Kronenbein gehalten und umgibt den Huf allseitig wie eine Glocke. Derartige Gummiglocken fledern bei häufiger Benutzung an ihren Rändern leicht aus, was vom Pferd,insbesondere bei schneller Gangart, als störend empfunden wird, insbesondere beim Galoppieren über grasbewachsenes Gelände. Außerdem wird kein ausreichender Schutz der Fessel und überhaupt kein Schutz des Koten und auch des Ballen erreicht, da diese Gummiglocken nicht unverrückbar am Kronenbein bzw. an der Fessel des Unterarms eines Pferde gehalten ist, 60 daß insbesondere bei einer schnellen Gangart eich diese Gummiglocken verschieben, so daß die Ballen freigelegt werden und es leicht zu einer Ballenbe-6chädigung , und zwar nicht nur durch loses Gestein u.dgl., sondern durch die hinteren Hufe kommt, wenn diese Gummiglocken an den Vorderbeinen des Pferdes befestigt sind. Benachbart zu der Durchbrechung 135 in der Fdsselanlageplatte 134 ist der Feststelltiemen 40 mittels einer Nietverbindung od.dgl. 142 befestigt, und zwar derart, daß über die Nietverbindung 142 ein Abschnitt des Feststellriemens 40 hinausragt, wobei dieser Abschnitt relativ kurz bemessen ist. Dieser Abschnitt trägt an seinem freien Ende 40a die Riemenschnalle 41, durch die das andere Ende 40b des vorderseitig herumgeführten Feststellriemens aufgenommen wird.
