Opfindelsen angår et filterlegeme bestående af et rør af uvæ-vet materiale, der understøtter en membran til membran-filtrering og med et i skrueform viklet bånd af uvævet materiale indeholdende svejsbare syntetiske fibre, idet de efter hinanden 5 følgende viklinger i båndet overlapper hinanden og er forbundet indbyrdes ved varmsvejsning. Opfindelsen angår tillige en fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af et sådant filterlegeme.
Ved "membran-filtrering" skal også forstås ultrafiltrering og omvendt osmose.
10 Sådanne rør af uvævet materiale, hvori der er anbragt en rørformet membran til rensning af væsker, f.eks. ved hjælp af omvendt osmose, er kendt inden for filtreringsteknikken. Disse rør fremstilles f.eks. ved at opvikle en uvævet polyester i skrueform og med overlapning på en dorn, idet der mellem de 15 overlappende dele af båndet påføres en polyethylenlim, som opvarmes til en temperatur fra mellem 110 og 150°C, hvorpå yderligere svejsning frembringes ved hjælp af en opvarmet svejsesko.
Som følge af overlapningerne findes der inden i røret skarpe og/eller fibrøse kanter, hvilket f.eks. kan medføre, at disse 20 kanter trænger ind i en membran til omvendt osmose, når den anbringes direkte på det uvævede materiale og derved fremkalder en svækkelse af membranen. Desuden er der risiko for, at fremspringende fiberender i det uvævede materiale trænger gennem membranen.
25 Fra beskrivelsen til fransk patent nr. 2.040.828 er det kendt at fremstille et rørformet element til eksosmose, idet papir-og glasfibre vikles omkring en dorn, hvorefter den dannede enhed føres gennem et varmeaggregat, der har form som et opvarmningsorgan, som helt omslutter rørets udvendige omkreds. Ved 30 den således tilførte varme hærder harpiks, som er påført glasfibrene. Hvis et rør af termoplastfibre blev ført gennem et tilsvarende varmeorgan, ville fibrene i det uvævede rør imid-tertid smelte langs hele rørets længde, hvorved rørets porøsitet ville blive nedsat i en sådan grad, at denne kendte metode 2 U3319 ikke kan anvendes til fremstilling af rør af uvævet materiale til understøtning af en membran til membran-filtrering.
Det er endvidere kendt at vikle en papirbane på indersiden af røret af uvævet materiale under viklinqsprocessen. På denne 5 måde elimineres de førnævnte ulemper ved anvendelsen af rør af uvævet materiale fremstillet ved vikling med overlapning, men papir har den uheldige egenskab, at når det fugtes i vand, vil dets sammenhængningskraft med tiden gå tabt for størstedelens vedkommende, og den derved fremkommende slimede masse vil, når 10 materialet er indespærret i et snævert rum og udsættes for tryk, frembyde en betydelig modstand mod vandets passage. Denne unødvendige modstand mod passage af vand må imidlertid især undgås, idet den giver anledning til spild af energi.
Formålet med den foreliggende opfindelse er at anvise et rør af 15 uvævet materiale, som ikke har de førnævnte ulemper og ikke er forsynet med et indvendigt lag af uvævede papirfibre, men er således indrettet, at en membran til membran-filtrering uden risiko for at blive beskadiget kan anbringes direkte mod indersiden af det uvævede rør, og således at membranen til omvendt 20 osmose, når den er brugt , kan kasseres, ved at man fjerner røret af uvævet materiale sammen med den deri fastgjorte menbran fra understøtningen eller bærerøret og kasserer hele denne enhed.
Dette er opnået ved, at båndets indbyrdes overlappende 25 partier er samlede således ved ultralyd-varmsvejsning, som i hovedsagen er begrænset alene til de overlappende partier, hvorved der er dannet et rør af uvævet materiale med i hovedsagen konstant indvendig og udvendig diameter.
Som følge af anvendelsen af ultralydsvejsning opnås der en me-30 get god tæt samling, idet de uvævede materialer opvarmes ensartet over hele deres tykkelse og derved smelter sammen. Det 3 143319 meget stærke uvævede rør, som opnås på denne måde, har samme diameter overalt ved indersiden, når de overlappende dele er svejst helt sairmen, og ved forbindelserne mellem efter hinanden følgende viklinger findes der ingen udragende fiberender, som sprin-5 ger frem fra det uvævede rør. Der er derfor ingen risiko for, at en membran til membran-filtrering beskadiges, når den anbringes i et sådant uvævet rør.
En anden væsentlig fordel ved filterlegemet ifølge opfindelsen er, at overfladen af det uvævede rør er gennemtrængelig for vand 10 og kan udnyttes optimalt, idet der kun er dannet tætte samlinger, som er uigennemtrængelige for vand, langs kanterne af to efter hinanden følgende viklinger, som er forbundet indbyrdes ved overlapning.
Endnu en væsentlig fordel ved filterlegemet ifølge opfindelsen 15 er, at det ikke er nødvendigt at benytte et indvendigt paprør, således at der ikke er nogen risiko for, at der dannes en klæbrig masse på indersiden af det uvævede rør, hvorved modstanden mod passage af vand ville blive forøget. Det har vist sig, at modstanden mod passage af vand er langt mindre end ved de hid-20 til anvendte rør, når der benyttes rør af uvævet materiale fremstillet ved fremgangsmåden ifølge opfindelsen. På den anden side medfører den forøgede stivhed af det uvævede rør, at det, efter at membranen er brugt, er muligt at kassere det uvævede rør sammen med den deri anbragte membran som en enhed.
25 Til forøgelse af styrkeegenskaberne hos røret kan dette ifølge opfindelsen udvendigt være omviklet med én eller flere forstærkningsbånd eller -filamenter, som hensigtsmæssigt i det mindste delvis er fastsvejst til det uvævede rør. Det vil forstås, at der som forstærkningsbånd må benyttes meget tynde fi-30 lamenter eller bånd for at undgå uønskede deformeringer af membranen ved anbringelse af et sådant rør i et støtterør. Anvendelsen af forstærkningsbånd eller -filamenter bevirker, at man kan undvære et særskilt, stift bærerør i enheden bestående af et porøst uvævet rør med en membran på indersiden.

Forstærkningsfilamenterne eller-båndene består fortrinsvis af termoplastisk materiale, som er svejst til det uvævede bånd, der benyttes til fremstilling af røret af uvævet materiale, og filamenterne eller båndene gives i forvejen en forøget styrke 5 ved strækning. Fastsvejsningen af forstærkningsfilamenterne sikrer, at de ikke forskyder sig under transport af det uvævede rør.
Forstærkningsfilamenterne kan også hensigtsmæssigt udgøres af glastråde, som ved hjælp af lim eller ved smeltning under på-10 virkning af varme forbindes til det uvævede materiale. Herved fås et meget stift rør af uvævet materiale. Forstærkningsfilamenterne strækker sig fortrinsvis i retning vinkelret på det uvævede rørs længdeakse. Når der påføres en lim, som smelter under påvirkning af varme, kan klæbningen f.eks. til et uvævet 15 polyestermateriale til fastgørelse af trådene let fremkaldes ved at påføre rækker af lim på ydersiden af det uvævede rør.
Fremgangsmåden ifølge opfindelsen er ejendommelig ved, at alene de indbyrdes overlappende partier af båndets viklinger udsættes for ultralyd-varmsvejsning, så det dannede rør af 20 uvævet materiale har i hovedsagen konstant indvendig og udvendig diameter.
Det har vist sig, at når røret fremstilles ved at forbinde de efter hinanden følgende viklinger ved hjælp af ultralyd-varmsvejsning, fås der et meget stærkt rør af uvævet materiale, som 25 på indersiden næsten overalt har samme diameter, samtidig med at der ved forbindelsesstederne mellem de efter hinanden følgende viklinger ikke findes nogen fremspringende fiberender på det uvævede rør. Der er følgelig ingen risiko for at beskadige membranen, der skal benyttes til membran-filtrering, når denne an-30 bringes i et sådant uvævet rør. En anden væsentlig fordel ved denne fremgangsmåde er, at overfladen af det uvævede rør, som er gennemtrængeligt for vand, kan udnyttes optimalt, idet der kun dannes sammensvejste forbindelser, som er uigennemtrængelige for vand, langs de overlappende kanter af to efter hinanden føl-35 gende viklinger.

Opfindelsen forklares nærmere i det følgende under henvisning til tegningen, der viser en udførelsesform for et rør fremstillet ved fremgangsmåden ifølge opfindelsen, og hvor fig. 1 skematisk viser opbygningen af røret af uvævet materi-5 ale, hvori der er anbragt en membran til omvendt osmose, fig. 2 en detalje visende efter hinanden følgende indbyrdes overlappende viklinger i et uvævet rør, samlet ved en ultra= lyd-svejseoperation, og fig. 3 et snit gennem et uvævet rør, som er forsynet med for-10 størkningstråde.
I fig. 1 er vist en dorn 1, hvorpå et bånd 2 bestående af et uvævet materiale af termoplastiske fibre, såsom uvævet poly= ester, er viklet, således at viklingerne overlapper hinanden.
De nær ved hinanden liggende kanter af to efter hinanden føl-15 gende overlappende viklinger af båndet 2 er betegnede med henholdsvis 3 og 4. Ved hjælp af et horn 5 til ultralyd-svejsning frembringes sådanne vibrationer i materialet, at dette på grund af den derved frembragte varme smelter i nærheden af kanterne 3 og 4, hvorved fibrene svejses sammen under dannel-20 se af en tæt samling 6.
Ved svejsningen er det tilstrækkeligt, at svejsekanten 3, som befinder sig under den overlappende del 4a af det uvæve-de materiale med kanten 4, til den overlappende del 4a. I dette tilfælde er der allerede opnået en bedre svejst sam-25 ling end tidligere, men det er tilrådeligt også at forbinde kanten 4 til den derunder liggende del af det uvævede materiale. Fortrinsvis svejses fibermasserne mellem kanterne 3 og 4 sammen. På denne måde fås et rør med meget ensartet indvendig diameter og meget stærke samlinger, samtidig med 143319 6 at den udvendige diameter også er næsten konstant.
Den svejste samling har i praksis en bredde på fra 0,5 til 1 mm, medens de overlappende partier i reglen har bredder på fra 0,2 til 0,3 mm. Hornet 5 er effektivt over en bred-5 de på fra 3 til 4 mm. Disse værdier skal imidlertid ikke opfattes i begrænsende betydning. Det uvævede udgangsmateriale er fortrinsvis elastisk i bredderetningen og er mindst 0,15 mm tykt.
Til fremstilling af den svejste samling 6 benyttes et horn 10 5, som ved hjælp af partier 5a og 5b presser på hver side af båndet 2's viklingsdele 3a og 4a, som ligger ovenpå hinanden,. medens svejsningen udføres ved hjælp af ved ultralyd frembragte vibrationer. Den skrueformede svejste tætning 6, som er fremstillet ved en ultralyd-svejse-15 proces, bevirker, at røret får en usædvanlig stor stivhed, som gør det muligt at trække røret med en i hovedsagen konstant indvendig diameter og en deri anbragt membran 8 til omvendt osmose og uden papirrør, støtterør anbragt rundt om det u-vævede rør 7 og at kassere hele denne enhed, når filtrerin-20 gen er afsluttet. Det har vist sig, at der i en sådan enhed bestående af et uvævet rør 7 og en deri anbragt membran 8 til omvendt osmose, i reglen i form af en celluloseacetat= membran, fås en betydeligt mindre modstand mod passage af vand ind i uvævet rør, som på indersiden mellem membranen 25 8 og røret 7 bærer endnu et rør viklet af cellulosefibre.
Til anbringelse af en membran i det uvævede rør kan der træffes i sig selv kendte foranstaltninger, f.eks. kan en stang med et fortykket parti 9 anbringes koncentrisk og med et lille spillerum indeni det uvævede rør 7. Ved den side 10 30 af det fortykkede parti, som vender bort fra drivretningen, findes en udstrømningsåbning 11, gennem hvilken den membrandannende væske kan indføres i røret. Når det uvævede rør 7 hurtigt føres forbi fortykkelsen, dannes membranen på indersiden af fortykkelsen.
Claims (9)
1 A3 3 1 O Til forstærkning af det uvævede rør kan ydersiden af røret omvikles med forstærkede polyestertråde 12, som ved hjælp af endnu et horn 13 til ultralyd-svejsning forbindes til ydersiden af det uvævede materiale. Det er tilrådeligt at 5 vælge forstærkningstråde, som er så tynde som muligt for at undgå, at der i den aflejdrede membran skal opstå de-formeringer på grund af disse forstærkningstråde. Det vil forstås, at forstærkningstrådene 12 kan forenes med ydersiden af det uvævede rør uden svejsning eller alene ved 10 at svejse dem sammen med røret. Forstærkningstrådene kan så f.eks. udelukkende være forbundet med det uvævede rør på de steder, hvor de svejste samlinger skal dannes. Det er tilrådeligt at benytte glastråde som forstærkningstråde 12 og forbinde dem med det uvævede rør ved hjælp af 15 en lim, som smelter under påvirkning af varme. Forstærkningstrådene forløber sædvanligvis vinkelret på det uvævede rørs længdeakse. Den lim, som benyttes til at fastgøre forstærkningstråde, som ikke kan svejses til fibrene i det uvævede materiale, 20 såsom glasfibertråde, anbringes i reglen langs linier, der forløber i længderetningen på ydersiden af det uvævede rør.

2. Filterlegeme ifølge krav 1, kendetetegnet ved, at røret (7) af uvævet materiale er omviklet med et eller flere forstærkningsbånd eller -filamenter (12), som strækker sig i hovedsagen vinkelret på det uvævede rørs længdeakse.
3. Filterlegeme ifølge krav 1-2, kendetegnet ved, at forstærkningsfilamenterne (12) i det mindste delvis er fast-svejset til det uvævede materiale.

Fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af et filterlegeme ifølge krav 1 med et rør (7) af uvævet materiale,der understøtter en membran (8) til maribran-filtrering og er dannet af et i skruef om viklet bånd (2) af et uvævet materiale indeholdende svejselige syntetiske fibre, 20 hvor de efter hinanden liggende viklinger af båndet overlapper hinanden og er forbundet indbyrdes ved varmsvejsning, kendetegnet ved, at alene de indbyrdes overlappende partier (3,4) af båndets viklinger udsættes for ultralyd-varmsvejsning, så det dannede rør (7) af uvævet materiale har i hovedsagen kon-25 stant indvendig og udvendig diameter.
8. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 7, kendetegnet ved, at røret (7) omvikles med en eller flere forstærkningsfilamenter eller -bånd (12), som strækker sig vinkelret på det uvævede rørs længdeakse.
