Den foreliggende opfindelse angår opake, varmforsegl-bare, orienterede polyolefin-flerlagsfolier, der især er egnet som indpakningsfolier.
Opake flerlagsfolier ud fra polyolefiner, især ud 5 fra et polypropylenbasislag og et varmforseglbart lag ud fra propylencopolymerisater er kendt fra DE-AS nr. 2.814.311.
Disse folier har imidlertid den ulempe, at de først ved temperaturer fra 125°C danner tilstrækkelig faste forseglingssømme, således at de i folien indpakkede levnedsmid-10 ler, fortrinsvis søde sager, derved kan påvirkes skadeligt i kvalitet. Hertil kommer desuden, at der med flerlagsfolierne ikke kan opnås en tilstrækkelig høj emballeringshastighed på de automatisk arbejdende emballeringsmaskiner.
Opfindelsen har derfor til formål at tilvejebringe 15 opake flerlagsfolier, især emballeringsfolier, som ikke blot udviser en lav forseglingspåføringstemperatur og høj forseglingsstyrke men også særdeles gode optiske egenskaber, såsom glans, og maskinbearbejdelighed på gængse emballeringsmaskiner af forskellige typer.
20 Dette formål opfyldes ifølge opfindelsen ved tilveje bringelsen af en opak, varmforseglbar flerlagsfolie ud fra et biaksialt strakt basislag af propylenpolymerer, der indeholder 3-15 vægtprocent, fortrinsvis 8-12 vægtprocent, af et med propylenpolymeren uforeneligt, fint fordelt additiv, 25 og mindst et i det mindste monoaksialt strakt, varmforseglbart lag ud fra en kombination af a) 66,5 til 94,5 vægtprocent, fortrinsvis 78 til 89,1 vægtprocent, af et lineært, statistisk ethylencopolyme-risat med lav densitet (LLDPE), 30 b) 5 til 30 vægtprocent, fortrinsvis 10 til 20 vægt procent af en lavmolekylær, med LLDPE forenelig harpiks med undtagelse af en lavmolekylær harpiks ud fra α-olefiner med højst 3 carbonatomer, såsom lavmolekylær polyethylen eller polypropylen, 36 c) 0,3 til 2 vægtprocent, fortrinsvis 0,5 til 1 vægt procent, af en blanding af en polyethylenvoks og en oxazolin-voks,

d) 0,2 til 1,5 vægtprocent, fortrinsvis 0,4 til 1 vægtprocent, polydiorganosiloxan og e) eventuelt gængse additiver og hjælpestoffer, hvorhos summen af a) til d) altid skal være 100 vægtprocent.
5 Polymeren, som danner basislaget i den her omhandlede forseglbare flerlagsfolie, er en propylenpolymer, der indeholder højst 10 vægtprocent af en yderligere α-olefin med højst 8 carbonatomer, fortrinsvis ethylen. Der anvendes fortrinsvis en isotaktisk polypropylen med en densitet på 10 0,9 til 0,91 g/cm og et smelteindeks på 1 til 4 g/10 min.
ved 230°C, 21,6 N (ifølge DIN 53 735).
Basislaget indeholder 3-15 vægtprocent, fortrinsvis 8-12 vægtprocent, med propylenpolymerene uforenelige additiver, fortrinsvis et uorganisk additiv som CaCOg, SiC>2, 15 Na-Al-silicat og/eller Ti02r og en gennemsnitlig partikelstørrelse på 0,2-20^,um, fortrinsvis 2-8^um.
Basislaget kan imidlertid også indeholde et organisk, uforeneligt additiv, fortrinsvis ud fra polystyren, polyme-thylmethacrylat, polytetrafluorethylen og/eller copolymerer 20 af disse forbindelser i de nævnte partikelstørrelser.
Uforenelig betyder i denne forbindelse, at sådanne polymere additiver udviser et andet smeltepunkt og/eller et andet strækforhold end propylenpolymeren, og at der ved en strækningsproces, såsom ved anvendelsen af uorganiske 25 additiver, sker oprivning af polymermatricen og dermed sker vakuoledannelse.
Hovedbestanddelen i det forseglbare lag er en overvejende lineær, statistisk ethylencopolymer af en lavdensitets-ethylen og højst 12 molprocent, fortrinsvis 2-8 molprocent, 30 af mindst en α-olefin med 3-10 carbonatomer, fortrinsvis propylen, buten-1, penten, hexen, octen, nonen, decen eller 4-methylpenten-l, især 1-buten, hexen eller octen. I denne forbindelse skal der anvendes sådanne polymerisationsbetingelser, der normalt fører til polyethylen med høj densitet, 35 dvs. lave tryk og temperaturer og i nærværelse af organome-talliske katalysatorer. lineære ethylencopolymerisater med lav densitet er beskrevet i US patentskrifterne nr. 3.645.992 og nr. 4.011.382. Ethy-lencopolymerisaterne, som anvendes ifølge opfindelsen, skal udvise en densitet på ^0,94 g/cm , fortrinsvis en densitet 5 på 0,900 til 0,925 g/cirf*, især 0,903 til 0,915 g/cm^.
Som lavmolekylære, med LLDPE forenelige harpikser kan der anvendes naturlige eller syntetiske harpikser med et blødgøringspunkt fra 60 til 180°C, fortrinsvis 80 til 100°C. Harpikser betragtes som værende forenelige, såfremt de kan 10 tilblandes i en koncentration på op til 30 vægtprocent af forseglingslaget, uden at der indtræder en forringelse i foliens optiske egenskaber. Hertil kan der anvendes kolofo-nium, dammaraharpikser, terpentinharpikser, carbonhydridhar-pikser, ketonharpikser, phenolharpikser, chlorerede alipha-15 tiske eller aromatiske carbonhydridharpikser. Sådanne harpikser er beskrevet i Ullmanns Encyclopådie der technischen Chemie, bind 12, 1976, side 525 til 555.
Eksempler på naturlige harpikser er kolofonium og dammaraharpikser. Førstnævnte udvindes ved destillation 2Ω af terpentinolie fra harpikserne fra fyr eller træstubbe.
Også kolofoniumestere samt modificeret kolofonium, såsom dehydrogeneret, hydrogeneret eller fraktioneret kolofonium, hører til denne gruppe.
Dammaraharpikser er farveløse til gule stoffer, der 25 ligeledes udvindes ved levende harpiksdannelse.
Som carbonhydridharpikser betegnes polymerisater ud fra carbon og hydrogen, som udvindes ved kultjæredestillation, ved krakningsprocesser af naphtha- eller gasolie fra koksværksgas eller fra terpentinolie. Typiske eksempler på sådan-30 ne harpikser er cumeronharpikser, jordolieharpikser, terpen-harpikser, styrenharpikser og cyclopentadienharpikser.
Ved cumeronharpikser forstås carbonhydridharpikser, der fås ud fra koksværksgas eller ved polymerisation af harpiksdannende forbindelser, såsom de forekommer i stenkulstjæ-35 redestillationerne, hvorved der udvindes modificerede cumeronharpikser ved copolymerisation med phenol.

Ved krakning af naphtha- eller gasolie fås råstofbasen, ud fra hvilken der udvindes jordolieharpikser. Harpiksdannende forbindelser er bl.a. buten, butadien, penten, piperylen, isopren, cyclopentadien, dicyclopentadien, alkyl-5 benzener, methyldicyclopentadien, methylinden, naphthalen-styrolinden, vinyltoluen og methylstyren.
Homopolymerer med ringe molekylvægt af styren og yderligere copolymerer som a-methylstyren, vinyltoluen og butadien er ligeledes egnede som lavmolekylære harpikser.
10 Cyclopentadienharpikserne udvindes fra stenkulstjære destillater og fraskilte jordoliegasser. Polymerisaterne fremstilles ved, at de umættede forbindelser over et længere tidsrum udsættes for høje temperaturer.
Terpenharpikserne udvindes ved polymerisation af 15 terpener, såsom β-pinen, α-pinen, dipenten, limonen, myrcen, bornylen, camphen og lignende terpener.
De chlorerede aliphatiske eller aromatiske carbonhy-drider indeholder almindeligvis 30 til 70 vægtprocent chlor og er kendte under navnet chlorvoks eller afledes af biphenyl-20 chlorid, terphenyl eller blandinger deraf.
De ovenfor anførte carbonhydridharpikser kan også anvendes som modificerede produkter. En modificering ved copolymerisation med specielle monomerer eller ved reaktion med yderligere polymerisater, men især en hydrogenering eller 25 delhydrogenering af de umættede bestanddele i harpiksen er mulig. Det foretrækkes især at anvende en hydrogeneret, poly-cyclisk carbonhydridharpiks på basis af cyclopentadien.
Phenolharpikser, der fremstilles ved reaktion af phenoler og aldehyder, er også egnet. Foruden phenol kan 30 cresol, xylenol, p-phenylphenol kondenseres med formaldehyd, furfurylaldehyd eller acetaldehyd.
Som komponent c) indeholder det forseglbare lag en blanding af en polyethylenvoks og en oxazolinvoks fremstillet ud fra stearinsyre og en aminoalkohol. Som aminoal-35 kohol anvendes der fortrinsvis trishydroxymethylaminomethan. Begge blandingskomponenterne kan anvendes inden for et bredt

blandingsområde, fortrinsvis i et vægtblandingsforhold på 1:1.
Det forseglbare lag indeholder desuden polydiorganosi- loxaner eller blandinger deraf, som ved 25°C udviser en 2 5 kinematisk viskositet på mindst 100 mm /sekund. Egnede poly-diorganosiloxaner er polydialkylsiloxaner, polyalkylphenyl-siloxaner, olefinmodificerede siloxanolier, polyethermodifi-cerede siloxanolier, olefin/polyethermodificerede siliconolier, epoxymodificerede siliconolier og alkoholmodificerede 10 siloconolier. Særligt egnet er polydialkylsiloxaner med for trinsvis 1 til 4 carbonatomer i alkylgruppen, især polydi- methylsiloxan. Polydiorganosiloxanerne bør fortrinsvis have 5 2 en kinematisk viskositet på mindst 10 mm /sekund ved 6 2 25°c, især på mindst 10° mnr/sekund.
15 En tilsætning til lagene af gængse additiver og hjæl pestoffer, såsom glidemidler, antiblokningsmidler og antista-tika, i gængse mængder er mulig. Således kan der anvendes umættede fedtsyreamider, mættede fedtsyreamider, såsom stea-rinsyreamid, erucasyreamid, med LLDPE i forseglingslaget ufor-20 enelige termoplastiske polymere som polyamid-12, uorganiske afstandsholdere eller antistatiske forbindelser som langkædede, aliphatiske tertiære aminer, som eventuelt kan være enkelt umættet, f.eks. ethoxylerede tertiære aminer, såsom N,N-bis (hydroxyethyl) (C-^2-cie) alkylaminer.
25 De her omhandlede flerlagsfolier kan fremstilles iføl ge gængse fremgangsmåder som laminering, coating eller smelte (co) ekstrudering, hvorved kombinationen, som det forseglbare lag består af, kan fremstilles ved masterbatch, fortrinsvis dog ved direkte kompounderlng.
30 Strækningen skal i længderetning ske fortrinsvis i forholdet 5:1 til 7:1 og i tværretningen fortrinsvis i forholdet 7:1 til 10:1. Derved skal der opnås et forhold mellem foliens densitet efter strækning og densitet før strækning på højst 0,9.

De her omhandlede flerlagsfolier skal fortrinsvis have en tykkelse på 20 til 80^um, hvoraf tykkelsen af det varmforseglbare lag fortrinsvis skal være 0,8 til 2^um,især lyum.
5 De her omhandlede opake flerlagsfolier egner sig på grund af deres fremragende forarbejdningsegenskaber på hur-tigtløbende emballeringsmaskiner og især på grund af deres lave forseglingspåføringstemperatur som emballeringsmateriale, især til levnedsmidler og søde sager, og kan til dette 10 formål betrykkes og forsynes med åbningsstrimler.
I de følgende eksempler anvendes der følgende prøvningsmetoder til bestemmelse af værdierne.
Til bestemmelse af foliens glans anvendes der en fotoelektrisk glansmåler ifølge Dr. B. Lange, Berlin, som 15 består af en lavvoltsglødelampe og en kondenser, som belyser prøven i en vinkel på 45°, og et andet i en vinkel på 45° i forhold til måleplanet stående ben med hulblænde og fotocelle., Til apparatet er tilsluttet et fint regulerbart viserinstrument (mikroamperemeter), der desuden indeholder 20 strømforsyningen og en spændingskonstantholder for glødelampen.
Glansen er defineret som den i en vinkel på 45° regulært reflekterede lysandel i procent, henført til et overfladeforsølvet spejl som 100%'s standard. Ved undersøgelsen 25 af glansen anbringes der en poleret sort glasplade på glansmåleren som mellemstandard, fordi sølvspejlsstandarden ikke er bestandig ved anløbning på grund af luftforurening. Til bestemmelse af forseglingssømmenes styrke undersøges forseglingsstyrken ved lavt forseglingstryk. Ved forseglingsstyrke skal i denne forbindelse forstås den kraft, der er nødvendig for at adskille en under definerede be~ 5 tingelser (0,35 N/cm?, 0,5 sekunder og de i tabellen anførte temperaturer) fremstillet forseglingssøm. Forseglingsstyrken angives i Newton og refererer til en 15 mm bred prøvestrimmel.

Til fremstilling af en opak flerlagsfolie fremstilles der en forseglbar kombination af en lineær, statistisk ethy-lencopolymer, som indeholder omtrent 4 molprocent octenenhe-

5 der indpolymeriseret og har en densitet på 0,911 g/cm , 0,5 vægtprocent polydimethylsiloxan med en kinematisk visko-6 2 sitet på 10 mm pr. sekund, 0,5 vægtprocent af en 1si-blanding af polyethylenvoks og en oxazolinvoks, 0,15 vægtprocent termoplastisk polyamid-12 som afstandsholder, 0,2 vægtprocent 10 stearinsyre, 0,2 vægtprocent erucasyreamid og 0,5 vægtprocent N,N-bis (2-hydro2cyethyl) - (C^2~C^g) alkylamin og de i den følgende tabel anførte vægtprocenter lavmolekylær hydrogeneret, po-lycyclisk carbonhydridharpiks på basis af cyclopentadien ("ESCOREL" 5000), og denne påføres ifølge gængse metoder 15 begge overflader af en basisfolie ud fra polypropylen med en densitet på 0,905 g/cm , et smelteindeks på 3,3 g/10 minutter ved 230°C, 21,6 N og et blødgøringsområde fra 160 til 166°C, som fint fordelt indeholder 12 vægtprocent CaCO^, og orienteres med en længdestrækning i forholdet 5:1 og en tvær-20 strækning i forholdet 10:1, hvorved der fås en sammensat folie med en tykkelse på l^um/38yum/l^um.

Claims (10)
1. Opak, varmforseglbar flerlagsfolie, kendetegnet ved, at den består af et biaksialt strakt basis-lag ud fra propylenpolymerer, som indeholder 3 til 15 vægtpro- 5 cent med propylenpolymerene uforenelige, fint fordelte additiver, og mindst et i det mindste monoaksialt strakt forseglbart lag ud fra en kombination af a) 66,5 til 94,5 vægtprocent lineær, statistisk ethy-lencopolymer med lav densitet (LLDPE), 10 b) 5 til 30 vægtprocent lavmolekylær, med LLDPE forenelig harpiks med undtagelse af en lavmolekylær harpiks ud fra α-olefiner med højst 3 carbonatomer, c) 0,3 til 2 vægtprocent af en blanding af en poly-ethylenvoks og en oxazolinvoks, 15 d) 0,2 til 1,5 vægtprocent polydiorganosiloxan og e) eventuelt gængse additiver og hjælpestoffer, hvorhos summen af a) til d) altid skal give 100 vægtprocent.
2. Flerlagsfolie ifølge krav 1, kendetegnet ved, at kombinationen består af 78 til 89,1 vægtpro- 20 cent komponent a), 10 til 20 vægtprocent komponent b); 0,5 til 1 vægtprocent komponent c) og 0,4 til 1 vægtprocent komponent d).
3. Flerlagsfolie ifølge krav 1'eller 2, kendetegnet ved, at der som komponent a) anvendes en ethy- 25 lencopolymer ud fra ethylen og højst 12 molprocent, fortrinsvis 2-8 molprocent, af mindst en yderligere α-olefin med 3-10 carbonatomer, som udviser en densitet på mindre end 0,94 g/ cm^, fortrinsvis på 0,900 til 0,925 g/crn^, især på 0,903 til 0,915 g/cm^.
4. Flerlagsfolie ifølge krav 3, kendeteg net ved, at der som yderligere comonomer anvendes propylen, buten-1, penten, hexen, octen, nonen, decen eller 4-methyl-penten-1, fortrinsvis 1-buten, hexen eller octen.
5. Flerlagsfolie ifølge krav 1 til 4, kende- 35 tegnet ved, at basislaget indeholder 8-12 vægtprocent af det med propylenpolymerene uforenelige additiv, fortrinsvis U DK 162078 B O et uorganisk additiv med en gennemsnitlig partikelstørrelse på 0,2-20^um, fortrinsvis 2-8^um.
6. Flerlagsfolie ifølge krav 1 til 5, kende-tegnet ved, at der som komponent b) anvendesen naturlig 5 eller syntetisk harpiks med et blødgøringspunkt på 60 til 180°C.
7. Flerlagsfolie ifølge krav 6, kendetegnet ved, at der som harpiks anvendes kolofonium, dammaraharpikser, terpentinharpikser, carbonhydridharpikser, ketonharpikser, 10 phenolharpikser, chlorerede aliphatiske eller aromatiske carbonhydridharpikser, fortrinsvis modificerede carbonhydridharpikser.
8. Flerlagsfolie ifølge krav 6 eller 7, k ende-tegnet ved, at der som harpiks anvendes en hydrogeneret, 15 polycyclisk carbonhydridharpiks på basis af cyclopentadien.
9. Flerlagsfolie ifølge krav 1 til 8, kendetegnet ved, at der som komponent c) anvendes en blanding af en polyethylenvoks og en oxazolinvoks fremstillet ud fra stearinsyre og en aminoalkohol, fortrinsvis trishydroxymethyl-20 aminomethan, fortrinsvis i et vægtblandingsforhold på 1:1.
