Abstract

В способе восстановления твердого исходного сырья (110), например твердого соединения металла, исходное сырье помещают на верхние поверхности элементов (60, 80, 81) в батарее биполярных элементов, расположенной внутри корпуса (25). Осуществляют циркуляцию расплавленной соли в качестве электролита через корпус таким образом, чтобы она контактировала с биполярными элементами и с исходным сырьем. На контактные электроды (50, 60) батареи биполярных элементов прикладывают потенциал, в результате чего верхние поверхности элементов становятся катодными, а нижние поверхности элементов становятся анодными. Приложенный потенциал имеет достаточную величину для осуществления восстановления исходного сырья. Настоящее изобретение также предлагает установку для воплощения этого способа.
