La presente invención se refiere a compuestos con la formula (I), (II), (III) o (IV): (I) (II), (III), o (IV),en los cuales R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7, X y Z son como se define aquí,y además a composiciones farmacéuticas que comprenden los compuestos, como también métodos de uso de los compuestos para el tratamiento de trastornos asociados con la enzima deshidrogenasa 11-ß-hidroxiesteroide tipo 1 y para la preparación de un medicamento que actúa sobre la enzima deshidrogenasa 11-ß-hidroxiesteroide tipo 1 humana.
