Abstract
Las presentes enseñanzas se relacionan con el campo de sustancias antiinflamatorias, y más particularmente con la preparación de los compuestos que actúan como antagonistas de las proteínas de adhesión de mamíferos conocidas como selectinas. En algunas modalidades, las actuales enseñanzas proporcionan métodos para preparar compuestos para tratar trastornos mediados por selectina que tienen la fórmula VI, en donde R1, R2, R3, p, y q se definen aquí.
