Abstract
La invención se relaciona con el campo de los radares pasivos y más particularmente con el procesamiento de señales aprovechadas por tales radares. El método para procesar la señal recibida de acuerdo con la invención lleva a cabo las operaciones de procesamiento coherentes para librar la señal útil de señales parásitas (principalmente la señal de referencia y sus múltiples reflexiones), para regenerar la señal de transmisión y para llevar a cabo una integración coherente de la señal recibida calculando la ambigüedad cruzada entre la señal recibida y la señal de transmisión regenerada. El método además lleva a cabo operaciones de procesamiento no coherentes en particular para desarrollar operaciones de purificación y extracción de distancia-Doppler para formar señales luminosas y eliminar las señales luminosas parásitas presentes entre las señales luminosas formadas. La invención está esencialmente diseñada para radares pasivos que operan en transmisiones de oportunidad no cooperativa, tales como transmisiones de FM para el público general.
