Abstract
La invención se relaciona con plantas modificadas por medio de ingeniería genética con inflorescenciamodificada. Se transforman plantas, tales como claveles spray, con un flavonoide 3', 5' hidroxilasa(F3'5'H) y un dihidroflavonol-4-reductasa (DFR) no autóctonos en conjunción con un supresor genético delDFR autóctono. De preferencia, la especificidad del sustrato del DFR autóctono es diferente del DFR noautóctono con el fin de mejorar el color de la inflorescencia.
