Abstract
Un método para aumentar y/o preservar los rendimientos y/o la biomasa en especies de cultivo que incluyen papas, remolachas, caña de azúcar, maíz, soja y otras, mediante la aplicación exógena de Trehalosa y/o derivados de la Trehalosa, en cualquier momento en el proceso de crecimiento, tal como antes de la siembra del 5 cultivo, durante la siembra o durante el establecimiento de la planta. El método, cuando se aplica tempranamente en la producción de cultivos mejora la salud y el vigor de la planta madre, dando como resultado un producto más saludable habiendo reducido los azúcares de la planta madre.
