Definitions

  • the invention relates to a folding bracket with a support arm and an articulated arm and a strut articulated on the arm and releasably supported on the arm.
  • FR-A-985 391 discloses a foldable folding bracket with brackets, brackets and braces which are each articulated on the bracket and releasably supported in the bracket in a bracket, in which the braces are prestressed against the respective brackets.
  • the braces are prestressed against the respective brackets.
  • the operation of the cable pulling device is tedious and cannot be used with large distances between the individual folding brackets.
  • this folding bracket construction cannot be used due to the necessary cable pulling device.
  • the invention seeks to remedy this.
  • the invention as characterized in the claims, achieves the task of creating a folding console which has articulated arms, which are nested for storage and shipping, and which has a spring-loaded strut, which due to a slide when folding the console allowed to drive over a notch for the strut.
  • the advantages achieved by the invention are essentially to be seen in the fact that the arms can be nested in one another in a space-saving manner for storage and in the ready-to-ship state, and simply opening and closing the console can be brought into a ready-to-use state or into a rest position without it handling of the strut is necessary. Screw bolts and the complex assembly of the same are not necessary.
  • the folding console is characterized by great simplicity.
  • the folding console has a support arm 1, a cantilever arm 2 and a strut 3. It is connected to a wall or support frame by means of the support arm 1.
  • the cantilever arm 2 is used to hold loads and can be connected to a tray board, for example.
  • the support arm 1 is a U-profile 4 with a web 7 and legs 10 projecting therefrom (see also FIG. 2).
  • the cantilever arm 2 is a U-profile 5 with a web 8 and legs 11 and the strut 3 is a U-profile 6 with a web 9 and legs 12.
  • the dimensions, in particular of the webs 7, 8, 9, are such that the inside diameter of the profile piece 4, that is to say its distance between the legs 10 is greater than the outside width of the profile piece 5, the outside width of the profile piece 6 being smaller than the inside width of the profile piece 5, that is to say the distance between its legs 11.
  • these three profile pieces can be arranged nested in one another in a folded state.
  • the profile piece 5 of the cantilever arm 2 is articulated on the profile piece 4 of the support arm 1 by means of a pivot pin 13.
  • the profile piece 6 of the strut 3 is articulated by means of a further pivot pin 14 on the profile piece 5 of the extension arm 2, the respective pivot pins 13, 14 passing through the corresponding legs of the profile pieces.
  • a hole 23 is formed in the legs 10, 11 of the first profile piece 4 and of the third profile piece 6, which holes each serve to receive a locking pin passing through them.
  • a slide 17 is arranged in the form of a sheet metal strip. This slide 17 has an obliquely bent end section 18 at its lower end and an end section 19 projecting perpendicularly therefrom at the opposite end.
  • a flap-shaped stop 20 protrudes obliquely inwards from each of the legs 10, whereby the slider 17 is slidably guided along the web 7.
  • a lug 24 projects from the web 7 and a spring 22 is inserted between this lug 24 and the end section 19 of the slide 17, which biases the slide 17 downward.
  • a support tab 15 projects from the web 7 into the space between the legs 10 at an oblique angle.
  • the end of the cantilever arm end of the third profile piece 6 forming the strut 3 is connected to a tension spring 16 which engages in the second profile piece 5 of the cantilever arm 2.
  • the point of attack of the tension spring 16 on the third profile piece 6 is such that the third profile piece 6 is biased against the first profile piece 4 in such a way that the end of the third profile piece 6 located at the first profile piece 4 is biased clockwise, so that the lower end of the Strut 3 is always biased to bear on the support arm 1.
  • the folding console is operated as follows. In the ready-to-ship condition, the cantilever arm 2 is pivoted downward so that it is completely accommodated in the support arm 1, the strut 3 running inside the cantilever arm 2 and thus also inside the cantilever arm 1, so that a space-saving shape is present.
  • the cantilever arm 2 is pivoted downward, so that the lower end edge of the strut 3 is moved to abut against the web 7 of the support arm 1 such that the support tab 15 lies in the space between the web 7 and the legs 10 of the strut 3 is coming.
  • the folding console is ready for use.
  • a locking pin penetrating the holes 23 in the legs can be pushed through to lock the folding bracket.
  • the Aurisonerarm 2 is initially pivoted in the direction of the dashed portion of arrow B of FIG. 4, such that the lower end edge of the web 9 of the strut 3 slides over the end portion 18 of the slider 17. Then the cantilever arm 2 is pivoted in the direction of the extended portion of arrow B of FIG. 4. Because the lower end edge of the web 9 of the strut 3 rests on the end section 18 of the slider 17, the slider 17 being arranged so that it can be moved easily, the end section 18 of the slider 17 for resting on the contact flaps 15 of the support arm is caused by the downward pivoting of the extension arm 2 1 pushed.
  • the spring 22 shown in this exemplary embodiment which does not have to be present in every embodiment, serves to bias the slide 17 against the support tab 15, which configuration can be advantageous for some embodiments.
  • the spring strength of the spring 22 is, however, dimensioned such that the slide 17 can in any case be displaced against this spring force when the extension arm 2 is folded up (FIG. 3).
