Abstract

L'invention concerne des enseignes lumineuses dans lesquelles l'affichage d'une information variable apparaít sur un support par l'alimentation sélective et/ou combinée de diodes électroluminescentes D ordonnées en une matrice Mm,n sur ledit support.
L'invention a pour objet un procédé électronique d'affi­ chage lumineux de l'information variable, remarquable en ce qu'il consiste à faire défiler de droite à gauche les caractères de l'information sur la longueur des lignes de la matrice Mm,n en opérant une alimentation sélective des diodes D, répétée successivement colonne par colonne.
L'invention a également pour objet le dispositif électro­ nique destiné à mettre en oeuvre un tel procédé et dans lequel le support est constitué par la juxtaposition de n/8 cartes de diodes (D) ordonnées en matrices M′7,8. Chacune de ces cartes comporte sept registres à décalage (R₁, R₂,...R₇), un par ligne, dont chacune des sept entrées (E₁, E₂, ... E₇) reçoit le même signal qui a validé la ligne correspon­ dante de la première colonne de la carte précédente, et dont les huit sorties (S₁, S₂, ... S₈) de chacun sont reliés successivement aux diodes formant les huit éléments de matrice de la ligne qui lui est attitrée.
