Definitions

the object of the present invention is to avoid the disadvantages mentioned and to develop a locking ring for conventional metal closures which can be mechanically attached to the metal closure and easily separated.
FIG 1 a partial cross section through a metal closure according to the invention with rolled edge 3 is shown.

the locking ring 1 When the cap is removed, the locking ring 1 is only loosely connected to the torn claw 5, so that it can be easily removed by hand when the cap is reclosed. This makes it easier to melt the metal closure after use.
