- the division of the locking openings can be freely chosen according to needs.
- the switching element is expediently rotatable about an axis which runs normally to the direction of displacement of the coupling sleeve, and the control cam is designed as an eccentrically mounted pin.
- a switching element that can be rotated normally to the direction of displacement of the coupling sleeve enables a large gear ratio and thus the application of larger switching forces with a relatively small manual force. With a suitable choice of the end positions, no additional rotation lock of the switching element is required.
- the control cam designed as an eccentrically mounted pin can be slightly conical, so that any play due to wear is automatically compensated for.
- the latching opening is advantageously arranged at the bottom of a groove extending on the circumference of the coupling sleeve.
- the control cam has two functions. In a first phase, the control cam only engages in the groove and moves the coupling sleeve in the axial direction. In a second phase, the control cam can move radially into the latching opening at the bottom of the groove and thus forms the rotational lock of the coupling sleeve.
