Abstract
La vitesse de coulée est supérieure à 3 m/min, et est de préférence comprise entre 6 m/min et 20 m/min.
On refroidit la brame, pendant le refroidissement secondaire, jusqu'à une température de surface inférieure à 800°C, et de préférence inférieure à 600°C. La brame mince peut être directement laminée à chaud.
