Definitions

  • the invention relates to a linear luminaire according to the preamble of claim 1, as e.g. is known from DE-A-36 33 351.
  • Explosion-proof linear luminaires of the type mentioned at the outset have a switch which must be switched off before the luminaire is opened in order to prevent current-carrying elements from causing an explosion in the surrounding, possibly explosive, atmosphere.
  • the lamp In order to lock the tub to the lamp housing in the assembled state, the lamp has at least one slide in the area of one of the side walls of the lamp housing, which has hooks which can be brought into and out of engagement with projections on the tub.
  • the switch is coupled to this slide in such a way that when the slide is moved into the unlocked position, the switch opens becomes. It cannot be easily avoided that the switch can be switched on bypassing certain safety precautions, e.g. B. by moving the slide in the locking position.
  • the interruption of the current flow by opening the switch can also be done by the trough acting on the switch.
  • the switch must be accommodated in the luminaire in the area of the tub, i.e. practically freely accessible. Manipulation of the switch is easily possible.
  • the object of the invention is to provide a linear luminaire of the type mentioned, in which the switch is not freely accessible and remains locked even when the tub is removed.
  • the coupling device with which the switch is actuated is assigned a drive element which actuates the switch which is fastened to the base support on the latter.
  • the drive element comprises a tab which is provided with latching means which cooperate with the latching means on the bracket corresponding to the latching means in the switch-off position even after the tub has been opened.
  • the latching means on the tab and the corresponding latching means on the holder support complement each other so that they cooperate with one another in order to hold the drive element in the open state even when the switch is in the open position, that is to say after the tub has been removed.
  • a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention consists in that, according to claim 2, an opening or a nose or vice versa is provided on the frame carrier or on the tab, which in the switched-off state, ie. H. with the tub removed, interlock.
  • an opening is provided on the tab and a lug is provided on the mounting support, because this configuration can be produced easily.
  • a projection according to claim 3 is provided on the tub, which presses on the tab when the tub is inserted onto the lamp housing and releases the latching elements. The tab is bent.
  • a plunger can be provided in a particularly advantageous manner, which is attached to the slide.
  • the entire coupling device with which the switch can be actuated is formed by the plunger and the drive element; when the slide is moved, the associated plunger is moved, which acts on the drive element, whereby the switch is actuated.
  • a spring element is provided, which continuously tries to actuate the drive element in the direction of closing the switch. This spring element causes that in the closed state, that is, when the trough is attached to the lamp housing, the drive element runs after the plunger and thus the slide until the switch is open.
  • both slides are connected to one another by means of a connecting web on which the plunger is fastened, as can be seen from claim 6.
  • FIG. 1 shows a lamp 10 with a lamp housing 11 and a tub 12 made of transparent material connected to it.
  • a socket carrier 13 with a plate-shaped region 14 arranged at one end and a carrier wall 15 which carries sockets for a fluorescent lamp 16, which are not shown in detail.
  • a reflector section 17 of the holder support 13 To the right of the support wall 15, below the fluorescent lamp, there is a reflector section 17 of the holder support 13.
  • a recess 18 is provided which is laterally delimited by two side walls 19 and 20 running perpendicular to the section 14 in the direction of the bottom of the housing 11; the side walls 19 and 20 are integrally formed on the underside of the frame carrier 13 in the direction of the longitudinal extent.
  • an end wall 22 which runs perpendicular to the side walls 19 and 20 and which - as can be seen in FIG. 2 - does not extend to the bottom end of the side walls 19 and 20 but at a distance from it , wherein a nose 23 is formed on the bottom edge of the end wall 22.
  • the two side walls 19 and 20 and the end wall form the approximately box-shaped recess 18.
  • the frame carrier 13 has a U-shaped contour, with two legs 24 and 25 arranged on the longitudinal edges. Furthermore, the frame carrier 13 has on its inner surface a step 26 which extends from the end wall 22 over the entire The underside of the frame carrier runs. On the step 26, an electrical switch 27, which is designed to be explosion-proof, is fastened, on the side opposite the carrier end of which a switching plunger 28 protrudes from the switch. Coupled to the switch is a drive element 29 which has a plate-shaped region 30 which essentially covers the switch and has a projection 31 at the end of the switching plunger which engages over the switching plunger 28 and is oriented perpendicular to the region 30.
  • a Z-shaped offset 32 is provided which merges into a tab 33 which has an opening 34, the position shown in Figure 1, when the tub 12 is not connected to the lamp housing 11, cooperates with the nose 23 so that the nose 23 engages in the opening 34.
  • the tab 33 runs parallel to the area 14 or to the housing base and in the direction of the longitudinal extension of the lamp or the longitudinal movement of the switching plunger 28.
  • the distance between the side walls 19 and 20 is slightly larger than the width of the tab 33, so that it is between the side walls 19 and 20 is performed.
  • the side walls 19 and 20 protrude beyond the end wall 22 and its nose 23, so that the tab is guided by the side walls 19 and 20 even in the unlocked state.
  • the distance from the end edge of the side walls 19 and 20 to the end edge of the end wall 22 is greater than the thickness of the tab 33 in order to always ensure the guidance thereof. In this state, the switch 27 is open and the switching plunger 28 is pressed into the switch 27 by the projection 31.
  • a web-like projection 36 is formed on the tub 12, specifically on the inner surface of the narrow side wall 35 on the left in the drawing in FIG. 1, which protrudes into the interior of the tub in the direction of the longitudinal extent and covers the entire wall 35. As shown in dashed lines in Figure 1, the projection 36 presses the tab 33 down so that the nose 22 is disengaged from the opening 34 so that the locking or latching is released at this point.
  • FIG. 3 shows the mount carrier 13 partially in section, specifically in the region of the reflector 17.
  • Slides 37 and 38 are displaceably guided on both sides of the legs 24 and 25 on the outer surface thereof, which have hook-shaped recesses 39 and 40 with which the Grip sliders 37 and 38 behind projections (not shown) provided on the tub 12 to lock the tub.
  • the two slides running parallel to the legs 24 and 25 are connected to one another by means of a connecting web 41 which runs perpendicular to the slides and parallel to the reflector (essentially parallel) or also parallel to the bottom of the housing 11.
  • An L-shaped plunger 42 is fastened to the side of the connecting web 41 facing the inner surface of the mount carrier 13, the free leg 43 of the plunger, as shown in FIG. 1, is directed against the outer surface of the projection 31.
  • the plunger 42 or the free end of the plunger 43 presses against the projection 31 and over the projection 31 against the switching plunger 28 and presses it into the switch , which opens the switch.
  • the tab 33 also reaches the position shown in FIG. 1, in which the lug 23 could engage in the opening 34.
  • the tab 33 is held in the unlocked position shown in dashed lines in FIG. Only when the tub 12 is removed, that is to say brought into the position shown by solid lines, is the tab 33 released from the projection 36 and the lug 23 reaches the opening 34.
  • the plunger 43 presses the switch into the switched-off position. If the slide should now be moved into the locking position, the plunger 42 comes free from the projection 31. Because of the locking between the nose 23 and the opening 34, the switching plunger 28 is held in the switch-off position shown in FIG.
  • FIG. 5 shows the mount carrier 13 in the region of the narrow side end from below, that is to say from the bottom of the housing.
  • the recess 18 can be seen in the region of the section 14, which recess is laterally delimited by the two side walls 19 and 20.
  • the end wall 22, on which the lug 23 is attached or formed, is partially visible.
  • the switch 27 is covered by the drive element 29, on which the tab 33 and the projection 31 are formed.
  • the tab 33 has the recess or the passage 34; in the position shown in Figure 5, the switch is locked by the nose 23 the opening 34.
