Abstract

Dans la plupart des machines à papier actuelles, la section transversale est réglée par déformation de la fente de sortie de l'ajutage de la caisse de tête. Il en résulte les défauts connus d'asymétrie du papier. Plus récemment, on a introduit le réglage de la section transversale par dilution ultérieure des courants partiels individuels amenés à la caisse de tête. L'invention se caractérise par le fait que la pâte épaisse amenée à une caisse de tête n'est plus diluée dans son ensemble, mais est distribuée en fonction de la section transversale demandée à la machine. La pâte est diluée dans les courants partiels jusqu'à la densité requise pour la caisse de tête avec l'eau d'égouttage. On peut ainsi rassembler les systèmes d'eau d'égouttage de plusieurs caisses de tête et les approvisionner, au moyen du dispositif décrit, en pâte de qualités identiques ou différentes. L'avantage en est que l'on peut régler la section transversale sans déformer l'ajutage de la caisse de tête et que l'on peut simplifier considérablement le système d'eau d'égouttage lors de la formation de feuilles de papier multiplex ou à couches multiples superposées avec des pâtes de qualités identiques ou différentes.
