Each plate is curved in shape when seen in profile, to adapt better to the foot and to the shoe, is applied by means of pins 51, 51 with a widened head in slots 52 1 , 52 2 , in the arms of the front half-frame, and can possibly be shimmed where appropriate (Fig. 6a) for adaptation to different footwear.

  • the new skate 10 allows a limited oscillation of the two half-frames 14, 16 with respect to each other around the axis d so that it proves more stable in overcoming irregularities and small bumps in the ground in that it always allows the three wheels to rest on the ground. Likewise, it allows good support on bends in that the central wheel rests on lateral portions thereof.
  • skate can be folded into the most compact position as shown in figure 1, by tipping the rear half-frame around the axis d until it lies parallel to the front half-frame. In the folded position the skates can be held in a bag.
