Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zum Abdecken von Befestigungslöchern (11a, 11b) bei der Herstellung von Rädern (10) für Kraftfahrzeuge, bei dem Abdeckelemente (22) in eine Anschraubbohrung (12) der Befestigungslöcher (11a,11b) eingelegt werden, um die Befestigungslöcher (11, 11b) bei einem Beschichtungsprozeß abzudecken. Hierbei sind die Abdeckelemente (22) zur formschlüssigen Aufnahme in der Anschraubbohrung der Befestigungslöcher ausgebildet. Bei der erfindungsgemäßen Vorrichtung (18) ist ein steuerbarer Schwenkarm (20) vorgesehen, der einen Zuführtrichter (19) zum Zuführen jeweils eines Abdeckelements (22) an die Anschraubbohrung des Befestigungslochs aufweist. Nach dem Beschichtungsprozeß wird das Abdeckelement (22) durch eine Drehbewegung des Rads (10) aus der Anschraubbohrung entfernt.
