Abstract

Es wird eine Saugwalze (30) für eine Papiermaschine angegeben, mit einem Walzenmantel (32), über dem ein Transportband (14) für eine zu entwässernde Faserstoffbahn (16) geführt ist, mit einem ersten externen Saugkasten (40), der die Saugwalze (30) von außen teilweise umschließt und die Faserstoffbahn (16) mit Unterdruck beaufschlagt, wobei der Saugkasten (40) zumindest einen Zwickel (25) zwischen der Faserstoffbahn (16) und der Saugwalze (30) besaugt, wobei zumindest ein zweiter Saugkasten (46) vorgesehen ist, der an einen ersten Saugkasten (40) angrenzt.
