Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif de laminage de tôles et de bandes dans une cage de laminoir. Pour amener les cylindres de travail supérieurs et inférieurs, éventuellement associés par paires à leurs cylindres d'appui respectifs, dans des positions à partir du plan vertical commun, on les fait tourner autour d'un axe vertical commun, lequel axe coupe les centres longitudinaux des cylindres, et ce par déplacement horizontal opposé des empoises supportant chaque cylindre dans la fenêtre des montants. Dans ces positions, les plans verticaux passant par les axes des cylindres de travail, éventuellement des cylindres de travail et d'appui, se croisent dans un angle prédéterminé. Pour compenser les parcours erronés de la tôle ou de la bande laminée, les cylindres de travail supérieurs et inférieurs, éventuellement associés par paires à leurs cylindres d'appui, tournent respectivement de différents angles par rapport au plan initial commun coupant les axes de cylindres en fonction de l'importance de la déviation de la direction de la bande détectée par rapport à la direction de laminage prévue.-
