Description

INDICATEUR DE TEMPS A REGULATION MECANIQUE
La présente invention décrit un indicateur de temps à régulateur mécanique selon la définition des revendications. Cet indicateur de temps est particulièrement adapté pour l'utilisation dans des montres-bracelets.
La présente invention se situe dans la famille des indicateurs de temps dits à «tourbillon». Le type classique d'un tel indicateur de temps est représenté par le «tourbillon Bréguet» de 1795. Dans ce dispositif, un balancier, son ressort spirale et son échappement sont assemblés à l'intérieur d'une cage tournante, la vitesse de rotation de la cage est de un tour par 60 sec. La cage tourne autour d'un engrenage à double palier.
Dans le développement des montres-bracelets, on constate une réduction du nombre de paliers. Le brevet GB-21,421 de 1892 montre un «tourbillon» en porte à faux dans un seul palier large. Le brevet CH-353,679 de 1961 montre une construction à palier en porte à faux à roulement à billes où le roulement à billes remplace le palier lisse épais utilisé jusqu'alors. De nos jours, des paliers en porte à faux à roulement à billes sont largement utilisés, à titre d'exemples dans les constructions selon le brevet US-4, 132,061 de 1977. La vitesse de rotation peut être inférieur de 60 sec. par tour comme le montre le «tourbillon» de Albert H. Potter publié dans l'ouvrage «Horlogerie Ancienne», n° 22, 2ième semestre 1987, pages 64-71.
Ensuite on constate des nombreuses variations de construction. L'ouvrage «Das Tourbillon» de Reinhard Meis, Callway Verlag Munchen, 2ième édition 1993 y donne une très bonne vue d'ensemble. Ainsi on distingue des «tourbillons» montés de façon non- visibles ou visibles du côté du cadran. Pour être non-visible un «tourbillon» est monté avec sa base du côté du cadran. Pour être visible un «tourbillon» est monté avec un pont du côté du cadran.
Souvent les «tourbillons» sont agencés en position de six heures, de douze heures sur le cadran ou au milieu du cadran. De telles réalisations de «tourbillons» agencées en position de six heures ou de douze heures sont montrées dans l'ouvrage «Das Tourbillon» de Reinhard Meis, Callway Verlag Munchen, 2ième édition 1993. La réalisation au milieu du cadran temps implique que le «tourbillon» est monté sur l'axe central de l'indicateur de temps résultant dans une construction relativement épaisse.
Un «tourbillon» particulièrement esthétique est connu sous le nom «tourbillon» dit volant. Un tel «tourbillon» dit volant est décrit par exemple dans l'ouvrage «Drehgang- uhren» de Alfred Helwig, Verlag der Deutschen Uhrmacher-Zeitung, Berlin 1927. Ce «tourbillon» dit volant ne dispose pas d'élément recouvrant la cage. Il existe d'ailleurs un «tourbillon» dit volant visible côté cadran et dépassant le mouvement (voir l'ouvrage «Faszination der IJhrentechnik» de Reinhard Meis, page 276, Laterna magica).
On sait que toutes ces constructions de «tourbillons» présentent le désavantage d'être comprise comme des constituants indissociables du mouvement de la montre. Cela rend le réglage final délicat et la personnification (habillage, décors, fréquence) sinon impossibles en tout cas difficiles. La présente invention a comme objectif de fournir une construction astucieuse d'un indicateur de temps de type balancier-spirale à «tourbillon» dit volant visible côté cadran. Elle a aussi comme objectif de fournir une solution au désavantage susmentionné et de montrer un procédé d'assemblage et/ou de réglage de montres économe et flexible. Finalement, elle a comme objectif de fournir un indicateur de temps pour montres-bracelets particulièrement esthétique et mince.
Cet objectif est atteint par l'invention définie par les revendications.
La présente invention se réfère à un indicateur de temps de type balancier-spirale à «tourbillon» dit volant. Ce «tourbillon» dit volant est visible côté cadran et comprend un pont de balancier formant cage avec une virole. Sa construction à palier unique en porte à faux supporte l'ensemble dudit «tourbillon» dit volant. Le palier unique en porte à faux est à roulement à billes. L'ensemble du «tourbillon» dit volant est conçu comme un module tourbillon indépendant, visible du côté cadran du mouvement et separable du mouvement de l'autre côté. Tous les éléments constitutifs peuvent être montés ensemble et réglés indépendamment du mouvement.
En comparaison à un indicateur de temps à régulateur mécanique de type balancier- spirale traditionnel dit à «tourbillon», l'invention présente les avantages suivants:
L'indicateur de temps est muni d'une construction à palier en porte à faux à roulement à billes, permettant ainsi une construction particulièrement simple et robuste, nécessitant moins d'éléments. L'indicateur de temps est monté de façon visible du côté du cadran ne possédant pas d'élément recouvrant la cage. Ceci permet une construction mince, facile à obtenir et particulièrement esthétique. Cette construction est adaptée pour grands et petits calibres.
L'indicateur de temps comprend un ensemble virole de tourbillon, pont de balancier, canon, palier à roulement à billes et pont de tourbillon forment un module de tourbillon supportant les éléments de régulation, c'est-à-dire l'oscillateur à balancier- spirale avec ancre, roue d'ancre et pignon et couronne à denture intérieur. Le tout étant totalement separable du mouvement, ayant l'avantage d'être montable pour lui- même et réglable en dehors du mouvement. Ce module tourbillon est indépendant du mouvement, tant pour la fréquence, l'habillage ou le réglage.
Dans une réalisation préférée le pont de balancier lui-même sert d'indicatrice par sa forme et/ou son décor. Un tel pont de balancier peut être réalisé dans un matériaux pour permettre la vision maximale des pièces en mouvement. Un tel pont est par exemple de manière transparent ou demi transparent, portant des pierres précieuses et/ou des métaux précieux et/ou des ornements comme indicatrice.
L'invention va être décrit plus en détail à l'aide des figures suivantes dans lesquelles:

Fig. 1 montre une vue en coupe d'un indicateur de temps à régulateur dit à «tourbillon» avec balancier-spirale. Dans ce dispositif, un balancier, son ressort spirale et la virole de tourbillon sont assemblés à l'intérieur d'une cage tournante, la vitesse de rotation de la cage est de 60 sec. par tour. Toute la cage tourne autour d'un engrenage à double palier.
Les figures 2 et 3 montrent des différents vues de détails de réalisations exemple d'un indicateur de temps à régulateur selon l'invention. Fig. 2 montre une vue de côté en coupe et fig. 3 montre une vue de dessus.
Cette réalisation exemple d'un indicateur de temps de type balancier-spirale se réfère à un «tourbillon» dit volant. Il comporte un oscillateur traditionnel avec balancier-spirale- échappement. Il fonctionne, à titre d'exemple, à échappement à ancre Suisse. Cette réalisation exemple n'est nullement limitative. L'homme du métier, en connaissant la présente invention peut réaliser un «tourbillon» dit volant avec un autre système d'échappement, par exemple avec un système d'échappement à détente ou avec un autre système de régulation connue.
Cet oscillateur est monté à l'intérieur d'une cage de tourbillon. La cage de tourbillon tourne autour un palier. Le «tourbillon» est visible côté cadran 15. En particulier, côté cadran 15, la cage de tourbillon est formée par un pont de balancier 2 étant solidaire à une virole de tourbillon 1 par des piliers 3. Ainsi le «tourbillon» dit volant est entièrement visible et ne possède pas d'élément recouvrant la cage.
Le palier unique est une construction en porte à faux à roulement à billes. Côté fond, le canon 4 est maintenu axialement dans un palier à roulement à billes 5 et grâce auquel il tourne librement. Ce palier à roulement à billes 5 est solidaire par une bague extérieure à un pont de tourbillon 6.
La virole de tourbillon 1 est la pièce de diamètre principale définissant l'encombrement dans le plan de la montre. Cette virole de tourbillon reçoit la denture collaborant avec une dernière roue 12 d'un mouvement 13. L'oscillateur est maintenu par un axe 7 ayant une première extrémité 9 chassé dans un canon 4 solidaire de la virole 1 et une deuxième extrémité 8 chassé dans le pont de balancier 2. Ces extrémités peuvent comprendre des amortisseurs de chocs. Le mouvement de l'oscillateur de type ancre Suisse est entretenu par une ancre et une roue d'ancre portées par la virole de tourbillon 1. L'ancre et la roue d'ancre portée par la virole de tourbillon 1 tournent avec la virole de tourbillon 1 autour de l'axe de celle-ci. La roue d'ancre porte un pignon 10 qui collabore avec une couronne à denture intérieure 11 solidaire du pont de tourbillon 6, créant ainsi la rotation de roue d'ancre 10 autour de son axe propre par le mouvement de la virole de tourbillon 1.
Selon la réalisation exemple, le balancier est agencé de manière centré par rapport au palier unique. Cette réalisation exemple n'est nullement limitative. L'homme du métier, en connaissant la présente invention peut réaliser un «tourbillon» dit volant avec un balancier agencé de manière excentré à l'intérieur de la cage de tourbillon. L'ensemble virole de tourbillon 1, pont de balancier 2, canon 4, palier à roulement à billes 5 et pont de tourbillon 6 forment un module solidaire supportant les éléments de régulation, c'est-à-dire l'oscillateur à balancier-spirale avec ancre, roue d'ancre et pignon 10 et couronne à denture intérieur 11. Le tout est un module tourbillon totalement sépa- rable du mouvement 13.
Le module tourbillon présente l'avantage d'être montable pour lui-même et réglable en dehors du mouvement. Ce module tourbillon est indépendant du mouvement 13, tant pour la fréquence, l'habillage ou le réglage. Un mouvement 13 peut recevoir des modules tourbillons de différentes fréquences et/ou de différentes réalisations esthétiques. Ainsi le montage et l'entretien d'un tel module tourbillon est particulièrement facile, rapide, économe et flexible. En particulier, ce module tourbillon peut être monté dans la montre au dernier moment. Ainsi il est possible d'avoir un stock de modules tourbillons relati- vement petit et de pouvoir satisfaire de manière flexible au souhaits de l'acheteur, permettant d'individualiser la montre.
Avantageusement, le «tourbillon» dit volant selon l'invention est agencé dans le plan du cadran 15 d'une montre ou montre-bracelet de manière visible du côté cadran dans une position six heures ou douze heures. Due à son faible épaisseur, ce «tourbillon» dit volant peut être agencé dans le mouvement 13 de manière surélevé par rapport au cadran 15, rendant le «tourbillon» et ses éléments particulièrement bien visible. Une aiguille indicatrice peut être fixée sur le pont de balancier 2, par exemple une aiguille indicatrice 14 de petite seconde.
En plus et en lieu et place d'une aiguille indicatrice, le pont de balancier 2 peut servir lui- même d'indicatrice par sa forme et/ou par un décor associé. A ce titre, le pont de balan- cier 2 est par exemple réalisé de manière transparent ou demi transparent. Il peut porter des pierres précieuses et/ou des métaux précieux et/ou des ornements comme indicatrice. L'homme du métier, en connaissant la présente invention peut réaliser d'autres exécutions de tels indicatrices.
Ce «tourbillon» est visible côté cadran 15. La hauteur totale du module tourbillon peut varier pour amener la surface du tourbillon à dépasser le cadran 15 tout en restant au- dessous du passage des aiguilles de minute et heure 16,17.
La compatibilité entre une famille de mouvements et une famille de modules tourbillons se fait à l'aide d'un interface, assurant ainsi l'interchangeabilité des modules tourbillons. L'élément d'interface assure que la virole de tourbillon 1 maintienne une vitesse de rotation caractéristique de par exemple 60 sec. par tour. Ceci est réalisé par un élément d'interface par exemple par la géométrie de sa denture, par le nombre des dents, par la forme et par le positionnement des dents dans le mouvement 13, de façon à collaborer de manière parfaite avec la dernière roue 12 du mouvement 13. Le rapport de démultiplicateur doit être ajusté de façon à assurer la condition d'interchangeabilité. Si par exemple on réduit la fréquence de l'oscillateur d'un facteur, alors le rapport de diamètre primitive entre le pignon 10 et la couronne à denture intérieur 11 doit augmenter du même facteur.
Les figures 4, 5 et 6 servent à illustrer avec plus de détail la modularité du tourbillon de l'indicateur de temps selon l'invention.
Fig. 4 montre schématiquement une vue perspective d'une réalisation exemple d'un module tourbillon volant 20 pour un indicateur de temps selon l'invention. Le tourbillon est en principe le même que le tourbillon déjà montré dans les figures 2 et 3. Il contient un balancier 21 monté sur un axe 7 avec une première extrémité 9 et une deuxième extrémité 8, une spirale 22, une virole de tourbillon 1, des piliers 3, un pont de balancier 2, un canon 4, une couronne à denture intérieure 11, un palier à roulement à billes 5, et un pignon 10. Le tourbillon est monté sur un pont de tourbillon 6. Dans ce dispositif, le balancier 21, son ressort spirale 22 et la virole de tourbillon 1 sont assemblés à l'intérieur d'une cage tournante formée par les piliers 3, le pont de balancier 2 et la virole de tourbillon 1.
Fig. 5 montre une vue du côté fond ou arrière (côté opposé du côté cadran) d'un mouvement 13 avec un module tourbillon 20 comme illustré dans la figure 4, qui est monté sur le mouvement 13. Le module tourbillon ou plutôt le pont de tourbillon 6 est fixé sur ce côté fond du mouvement 13 à l'aide des vises 24 ainsi que pour séparer le module tourbillon 20 du mouvement 13 il ne faut que dévisser les vises 24 et tirer le module 20 du mouvement 13.
La virole 1 de tourbillon reçoit la denture collaborant avec une dernière roue (pas représenté) arrangé dans un enfoncement 12 du mouvement 13.
Fig. 6 montre en coupe le détail D-D de la fig. 5. La présente figure ressemble à la fig. 2 mais montre plus clairement la modularité du tourbillon et son extension dans le mouvement 13. Le pont du tourbillon 6 est fixé sur le côté fond ou arrière du mouvement 13 et le module tourbillon 20 s'étend dans une ouverture 18 du mouvement 13 jusqu'au côté cadran 15 de celui-ci.
Le palier à roulement de billes 5 n'est pas agencé sur le même niveau que la première extrémité 9 de l'axe 7 (comme c'est illustré par la fig. 2) mais il est distancé de cette première extrémité 9 de cette axe 7 vers le niveau du centre de gravitation du module rotative. Cette position du palier aussi proche que possible du centre de gravitation rends l'arrangement plus insensible contre des choques. La fig. 6 montre clairement que pour démonter le module tourbillon 20 du mouvement 13 il n'est pas nécessaire de démonter aucune autre pièce. Ainsi le montage et l'entretien d'un tel module tourbillon est particulièrement facile, rapide, économique et flexible. En particulier, ce module tourbillon peut être monté dans la montre au dernier moment. Ca veux dire que le mouvement 13 et le module tourbillon peuvent être fabriqués et assemblés tout a fait séparément. Ainsi il est possible d'avoir un stock de modules tourbillons relativement petit et de pouvoir satisfaire de manière flexible au souhaits de l'acheteur, permettant d'individualiser la montre. S'il faut des travaux de service, il n'est pas néces- saire de démonter tout le mouvement pour avoir accès aux tourbillon ni de séparer la boite et le mouvement. Bien que le tourbillon soit visible du côté cadran, pour le dégager il faut seulement ouvrir la monter de l'arrière, dévisser le module et retirer le module du mouvement.

Claims

REVENDICATIONS
1. Un indicateur de temps de type balancier-spirale à «tourbillon» dit volant, ayant un pont de balancier (2) formant cage avec une virole (1), le «tourbillon» dit volant étant visible côté cadran (15) et un palier unique en porte à faux supportant l'ensemble dudit «tourbillon» dit volant.
2. Indicateur de temps selon la revendication 1, caractérisé par le fait que le palier unique à porte à faux est à roulement à billes (5).
3. Indicateur de temps selon la revendication 2, caractérisé par le fait que l'ensemble dudit «tourbillon» dit volant est conçu comme un module tourbillon (20) indépendant et separable d'un mouvement (13).
4. Indicateur de temps selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisé par le fait que le tourbillon est un module tourbillon (20) qui est indépendant du mouvement (13), qui est arrangé dans une ouverture (18) du mouvement (13), qui est visible du côté cadran (15) du mouvement (13) et qui est fixé et accessible de l'autre côté du mouvement (13).
5. Indicateur de temps selon la revendication 3 ou 4, caractérisé par le fait que le mo- dule tourbillon (20) se compose d'une virole de tourbillon (1), d'un pont de balancier (2), d'un canon (4), d'un palier à roulement à billes (5) et d'un pont de tourbillon (6) forment un module solidaire supportant les éléments de régulation.
6. Indicateur de temps selon la revendication 5, caractérisé par le fait que les éléments de régulation comprennent une axe 7 d'oscillateur avec une première extrémité (9) et une deuxième extrémité (8) et que le palier à roulement à billes (5) est agencé sur un plan entre le plan de la dite première extrémité (9) et le plan du centre de gravitation du module rotative.
7. Indicateur de temps selon une des revendications 1 à 5, caractérisé par un pont de balancier (2) étant réalisé de manière transparent ou demi transparent.
8. Indicateur de temps selon une des revendications 1 à 6, caractérisé par un pont de balancier (2) portant des pierres précieuses et/ou des métaux précieux et/ou des ornements comme indicatrice.
9. Indicateur de temps selon la revendication 7, caractérisé par un pont de balancier (2) portant des pierres précieuses et/ou des métaux précieux et/ou des ornements comme indicatrice de seconde (14).
10. Indicateur de temps selon une des revendications 1 à 8, caractérisé par le fait qu'il est agencé dans le plan du cadran d'une montre et qu'il est visible du côté cadran
(15) dans une position six heures ou douze heures.
11. Indicateur de temps selon la revendication 9, caractérisé par le fait qu'il est agencé dans le mouvement (13) de manière surélevé par rapport au cadran (15).
12. Utilisation d'un indicateur de temps de type balancier-spirale à «tourbillon» dit volant selon une des revendications 1 à 10 dans une montre dans laquelle il est visible du côté cadran (15).
13. Procédé de montage et/ou de réglage d'une montre ayant un indicateur de temps de type balancier-spirale à «tourbillon» dit volant, caractérisé par le fait qu'un module tourbillon (20) comprenant une virole de tourbillon (1), un pont de balancier (2), un canon (4), un palier à roulement à billes (5) un pont de tourbillon (6) forment un module solidaire supportant les éléments de régulation est agencé totalement separable d'un mouvement (13), permettant un montage dudit module tourbillon (20) pour lui-même et/ou un réglage dudit module tourbillon en dehors du mouvement (13).
14. Procédé de montage selon la revendication 12, caractérisé par le fait que le mo- dule tourbillon (20) est inséré du côté du mouvement (13) opposé au côté cadran
(15) dans une ouverture (18) réalisée dans le mouvement (13) et que le pont de tourbillon (6) est fixé au mouvement (13) au dit côté opposé.
