- commander le fonctionnement du bloc en relation avec les moyens de transfert thermique et le support sur au moins une partie de la course dudit bloc pour transférer audit support le ou les colorants portés par les moyens de transfert thermique, un tel procédé d'impression étant caractérisé en ce que :
- on constitue les moyens de transfert thermique par une pluralité de rubans porteurs de colorants de couleur uniforme pour chacun d'eux, mais différente de l'un à l'autre, en les disposant parallèlement entre eux et à la direction de déplacement du bloc d'impression sous lequel lesdits rubans sont placés,
- on dote le bloc d'impression d'au moins une tête d'impression par transfert thermique, montée mobile sur le bloc,

- des moyens sont prévus pour :
- maintenir tendus le ou les rubans durant la course aller du bloc,
- assurer, durant la course retour du bloc, le rembobinage partiel du ou des rubans ayant servi lors de la course aller,
- et des moyens de commande en déplacement intermittent du support sont prévus pour déplacer ledit support avant chaque course aller du bloc d'une mesure au plus égale à la largeur des rubans.
Claims (31)
- Procédé d'impression en couleurs d'un support par transfert thermique, du type consistant à :caractérisé en ce que :faire défiler par intermittence le support selon une direction longitudinaledisposer au-dessus du support un bloc d'impression pourvu d'au moins une tête d'impression par transfert thermique et susceptible d'être animé de déplacements alternatifs selon une direction transversale, rectiligne, orthogonale à la direction longitudinaleplacer entre le support et le bloc des moyens de transfert thermique de colorantscommander le fonctionnement du bloc en relation avec les moyens de transfert thermique et le support sur au moins une partie de la course dudit bloc pour transférer audit support le ou les colorants portés par les moyens de transfert thermique,on constitue les moyens de transfert thermique par une pluralité de rubans porteurs de colorants de couleur uniforme pour chacun d'eux, mais différente de l'un à l'autre, en les disposant parallèlement entre eux et à la direction de déplacement du bloc d'impression sous lequel lesdits rubans sont disposés,on dote le bloc d'impression d'au moins une tête d'impression par transfert thermique, montée mobile sur le bloc,on soumet le bloc d'impression à des déplacements successifs en courses aller et retour,on commande, pour chaque course aller, le fonctionnement sélectif de la tête, en fonction des couleurs à transférer localement sur le support, à partir des rubans maintenus immobiles,on commande le déplacement du bloc en course retour en entraínant, dans le sens correspondant, le ou les rubans qui ont fait l'objet d'un transfert thermique de colorants lors de la course aller,et on procède ainsi par passes successives avec, à chaque fois, l'avancement du support d'une mesure correspondant à au plus la largeur d'un ruban.
- Procédé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce qu'on choisit les couleurs des rubans parmi les couleurs primaires.
- Procédé selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce qu'on choisit les couleurs des rubans pour la mise en oeuvre d'une synthèse additive.
- Procédé selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce qu'on choisit les couleurs des rubans pour la mise en oeuvre d'une synthèse soustractive.
- Procédé selon l'une des revendications 1 à 4, caractérisé en ce qu'on entraíne le ou les rubans en course retour du bloc d'impression sur une longueur égale à celle utilisée lors de la course aller dudit bloc.
- Procédé selon l'une des revendications 1 à 5, caractérisé en ce qu'on entraíne les rubans en les liant temporairement au bloc d'impression.
- Procédé selon la revendication 6, caractérisé en ce qu'on entraíne les rubans en les dévidant chacun d'une bobine ou galette débitrice et en les rembobinant sur une bobine réceptrice.
- Procédé selon la revendication 6 ou 7, caractérisé en ce qu'on assure le rembobinage du ou des rubans en course de retour en soumettant la ou les bobines réceptrices à un couple de rotation provoqué par un organe moteur associé à un limiteur de couple.
- Procédé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce qu'on maintient le ou les rubans à l'état tendu pendant la course aller du bloc d'impression.
- Procédé selon la revendication 9, caractérisé en ce qu'on maintient le ou les rubans tendus en les soumettant à une action de traction par la ou les bobines réceptrices et en les immobilisant temporairement juste après la ou les bobines débitrices.
- Procédé selon la revendication 1, 9 ou 10, caractérisé en ce qu'on commande le déplacement descendant et le fonctionnement de la ou des têtes du bloc d'impression lors d'une course aller pour placer le ou les rubans au contact du support et en ce qu'on commande, lors de la course retour, l'escamotage desdits têtes dans le bloc après avoir, d'une part, libéré le ou lesdits rubans au droit des bobines débitrices et, d'autre part, simultanément lié lesdits rubans ayant été utilisés au bloc d'impression.
- Dispositif d'impression en couleurs d'un support par transfert thermique, du type comprenant un bâti (5) :caractérisé en ce que :présentant une table (15), délimitant un guichet de passage (10) et comportant des moyens (11, 12) d'entraínement en déplacement intermittent longitudinal d'un support imprimable (2) au-dessus de la table,définissant, au-dessus de ladite table, une voie de guidage (20) transversale, rectiligne pour un bloc d'impression (B) motorisé susceptible d'être animé de déplacements alternatifs en courses dites aller-impression et retour, respectivement,portant des moyens de transfert thermique de colorants, disposés au-dessus de la table pour être interposés entre le bloc d'impression et le support,les moyens de transfert thermique sont constitués par au moins deux rubans (35) parallèles s'étendant parallèlement à la voie de guidage et sous le bloc d'impression, entre des bobines débitrices (36) et des bobines réceptrices (38),lesdits rubans sont porteurs d'une couche de pigments de couleur uniforme pour chaque ruban, mais différente d'un ruban à l'autre,le bloc d'impression (B) comprend au moins une tête de transfert thermique (31) mobile entre une position d'escamotage durant la course retour et une position d'impression durant la course aller, au cours de laquelle ladite tête applique, temporairement et localement, le ou les rubans immobiles sur ledit support,des moyens sont prévus pour :maintenir tendus le ou les rubans durant la course aller du bloc,assurer, durant la course retour du bloc, le rembobinage partiel du ou des rubans ayant servi lors de la course aller,et des moyens (14) de commande en déplacement intermittent du support sont prévus pour déplacer ledit support avant chaque course aller du bloc d'une mesure au plus égale à la largeur des rubans.
- Dispositif selon la revendication 12, caractérisé en ce que les rubans sont porteurs de pigments de couleurs primaires.
- Dispositif selon la revendication 12 ou 13, caractérisé en ce que les rubans sont au nombre de trois.
- Dispositif selon la revendication 12 ou 13, caractérisé en ce que les rubans sont au nombre de quatre.
- Dispositif selon la revendication 12, caractérisé en ce que les rubans sont associés chacun à des moyens de mise sous tension comprenant une pince de serrage (50) située au droit de la bobine débitrice et des moyens de traction (39) associés à la bobine réceptrice.
- Dispositif selon la revendication 16, caractérisé en ce que la pince de serrage (50) est constituée par un électro-aimant à position de repos serrée et en ce que les moyens de traction comprennent un moteur (41) agissant en permanence sur la bobine réceptrice par un limiteur de couple (43).
- Dispositif selon la revendication 17, caractérisé en ce que le limiteur de couple est constitué par un manchon tubulaire d'entraínement, réalisé en une matière présentant un bon coefficient de friction et interposé sous contrainte entre l'arbre de sortie (41a) du moteur et le moyeu (42) de la bobine réceptrice.
- Dispositif selon la revendication 17 ou 18, caractérisé en ce que le moteur possède un arbre de sortie (41a) unique qui est commun à toutes les bobines réceptrices qui sont chacune pourvue d'un moyeu d'entraínement limiteur de couple.
- Dispositif selon la revendication 12, caractérisé en ce que les bobines sont du type à flasques.
- Dispositif selon la revendication 12, caractérisé en ce que les rubans sont chacun associés à des moyens pour assurer le rembobinage en course retour, ces moyens comprenant, d'une part, un moteur d'entraínement (41) en rotation continue de la bobine réceptrice par l'intermédiaire d'un limiteur de couple (43) et, d'autre part, une pince de serrage (51) portée par le bloc d'impression (B).
- Dispositif selon la revendication 21, caractérisé en ce que la pince de serrage (51) est constituée par un électro-aimant à position de repos ouverte.
- Dispositif selon la revendication 12, caractérisé en ce que le bloc d'impression (B) supporte autant de têtes de transfert thermique qu'il existe de rubans.
- Dispositif selon la revendication 12, caractérisé en ce que les bobines débitrices et les bobines réceptrices sont, respectivement, disposées dans deux compartiments latéraux (8) et (9) délimités par le bâti entre des joues latérales et des capots ouvrables (7).
- Bobine pour un ruban d'impression par transfert thermique, du type comprenant un mandrin d'enroulement (42) du ruban, caractérisée en ce qu'elle comprend, en outre, un moyeu (43) de limitation du couple d'entraínement en rotation du mandrin.
- Bobine selon la revendication 25, caractérisée en ce que le moyeu limitateur de couple (43) comprend un manchon qui est solidaire du mandrin et réalisé dans un matériau compressible et qui définit l'alésage de réception d'un axe d'entraínement.
- Bobine selon la revendication 26, caractérisée en ce que le manchon (43) est réalisé dans un matériau synthétique alvéolaire.
- Bobine selon la revendication 27, caractérisée en ce que le manchon (43) est réalisé en mousse de polyéthylène réticulé.
- Bobine selon la revendication 28, caractérisée en ce que la mousse de polyéthylène réticulé présente une masse volumique comprise entre 40 et 50 kg/m3.
- Bobine selon l'une des revendications 25 à 29, caractérisée en ce que le moyeu limitateur de couple (43) est adapté pour limiter le couple d'entraínement à une valeur comprise entre 0,5 N/cm et 2 N/cm.
- Bobine selon l'une des revendications 25 à 30, caractérisée en ce qu'elle comprend des flasques.
