Definitions

  • the invention relates to a flushing device for a water closet, with a cistern, in which a pressure vessel is arranged, which has a supply line for water and an outlet valve and in which at least part of the flushing water can be pressurized and dispensed through the outlet valve for flushing.
  • Conventional cisterns have a float valve as an outlet valve, which is opened to trigger a flush, for example by pressing a button.
  • the cistern is arranged above the toilet bowl to be flushed and when the float valve is opened, the flushing water flows into the toilet bowl through a flushing pipe due to the gravitational force.
  • flushing devices are also known in which the flushing water is pressurized in the cistern. When flushing, the flushing water leaves the cistern with increased energy due to the increased pressure and the flushing action is accordingly greater.
  • WO 98/39522 shows a cistern with a pressure vessel that has a bottom with a flush valve.
  • Water is introduced into the spherical pressure vessel in preparation for rinsing from a supply line. Air is also supplied to the pressure vessel. This air is compressed when the water is introduced and builds up pressure in the container. If the flushing valve is opened, the water flows out of the pressure vessel due to the expanding air and due to the gravitational force through the opened flushing valve into the toilet. crisps bowl.
  • the disadvantage of this flushing device is that it has to be designed for a comparatively high pressure and that it is difficult to set the appropriate pressure in the container.
  • Applicant's WO 95/04196 discloses a flushing device which has a flushing cistern with two water outlets. Through the one spout, water is introduced into the toilet bowl as usual. The other outlet is connected to a nozzle which is arranged in a siphon in the toilet bowl and which is intended to accelerate the water of the siphon when flushing. The flushing water is not pressurized with this flushing device.
  • a flushing device with two outlets and a nozzle in the siphon is comparatively complex and is not suitable in all cases.
