Definitions

  • the invention relates to a razor according to the features of the preamble of claim 1.
  • Such an electrically operated razor is known with under shaving foil reciprocating bottom blade.
  • the short hair trimmer is driven by a first electric motor.
  • a further electric motor with a transmission device is formed in this shaver, which drives the transmission device after its activation and thereby moves the long-hair trimmer from its initial position to its extended position. Since the displacement of the long-hair trimmer takes place merely by touching an electrical switch, such an arrangement provides a comfortable operation on a razor.
  • an additional electric motor with switch, power conductors and a transmission device is required, whereby a relatively expensive and costly razor arises.
  • the object of the invention is therefore to provide an electrically operated razor, with the simple and inexpensive construction and an automatic extension of the trimmer must not be waived.
  • the coupling of the lifting device of the long-hair trimmer to the drive part of the shaver can be done either inside the housing or even on the protruding from the housing portion, which is usually part of a swing bridge.
  • the latter variant leads to the advantage that an additional sealing point is avoided since both the coupling of the lifting device to the oscillating drive part as the long-hair trimmer are arranged anyway anyway outside the housing of the shaver.
  • the occurring on the drive part oscillating motion is deflected in the deflection gear in a likewise oscillating movement, but this movement then runs in the direction of the long hair cutter.
  • the oscillating movement of the driving part is in the same direction as the movement of the knife block of the short hair trimmer and like the movement of the lower knife of the trimmer.
  • this movement must be brought by means of a deflection gear in this direction. Only then can this movement be transferred to move the long-hair trimmer on this.
  • the features of claim 3 provide a connection from the output of the reversing gear to the trimmer by here a releasable entrainment arrangement in the form of a long-hair trimmer formed pawl and a trained at the output teeth is selected, in which the pawl engages with the entrainment of the trimmer and so according to the oscillating deflected movement, the long-hair trimmer gradually takes in its extended position.
  • the stepwise entrainment is due to the fact that due to the oscillating movement, only a small oscillating movement in deflection, ie in the extension direction of the trimmer, arises, while the path in the opposite direction by slipping as in a ratchet is not transferred to the trimmer. Equivalent solutions are also applicable here, wherein the pawl and the toothing can be reversed.
  • the oscillating movements usually relatively high in order to obtain a good cutting result, therefore, the long-hair trimmer is quickly brought into its final position.
  • the particular can be further enhanced by the translation in the reversing gear is designed to be large.
  • the engagement of the pawl in the toothing at the output of the reversing gear can be done either mechanically by hand or electrically via a magnetic switch or similar means.
  • holding means are provided in the shaver, which allow release of the first locking mechanism only in the maximum extended position. This means that once the razor is switched on in the initial position of the long-hair trimmer, the locking mechanism is mechanically latched, this is not decoupled until the trimmer has reached its maximum position. Only in the maximum extended position of the long-hair trimmer can namely solve the pawl from the teeth on the output. For this purpose, a guide rib for the pawl is interrupted in the upper stop, this allows an exact position of the long-hair trimmer 8. When the shaving process is completed, the long-hair trimmer can be pushed back by releasing the holding means back to its original position.
  • the holding means consist of a rib-groove arrangement whose direction extends in the direction of displacement of the long-hair trimmer 8.
  • the rib may be formed on the pawl or on the housing of the shaver. Accordingly, the groove is then arranged on one of the two parts.
  • a dovetail guide or similar guide means are also conceivable.
  • a latching lever has proven to be advantageous with a toothing, wherein the locking lever is rotatably mounted on the housing and resiliently engages in the formed on the trimmer long teeth such that the movement of the long-hair trimmer is locked to the starting position. Only then, when the locking lever of the second locking mechanism is mechanically unlocked from the teeth, the long-hair trimmer can be pushed back to its original position. Equivalent solutions are also applicable here.
  • Fig. 1 is a commonly referred to as a dry shaver electrically operated shaver 1 shown, which consists of a housing 2 and a subsequent to the housing 2 shaving head 3.
  • the razor head 3 may be fixed or pivotally mounted in the housing 2 and has an upwardly open recess 4, in the two upwardly curved shear sheets 5, 6 are integrated.
  • Within the two shear sheets 5, 6 are located on these two side by side and interconnected blade blocks (not shown), of a drive part 22, as it is the Fig. 2 to 5 it can be seen, in an oscillating, ie reciprocating motion Y, are movable.
  • the drive member 22 is preferably connected via an eccentric gear, not shown in the drawing, to a rotary electric motor (not shown) formed in the housing 2.
  • a vibrating armature motor or another electric drive as has also long been known in the case of such razors.
  • a long-hair trimmer 8 is formed, which consists of a fixed upper blade 9 and a slidably adjoining the upper blade 9 from below and operating in the direction Y back and forth lower blade 10.
  • a long-hair trimmer 8 On the training and the function and operation of the long-hair trimmer 8 will not be discussed here, since this has long been part of the state of the art, as this also from the above-described DE 195 31 013 C1 is known.
  • the long-hair trimmer 8 forms with its front plate 12 and behind the front wall 13 (FIG. FIG. 1 ) lying mechanical lifting device 14, as in the FIGS. 2 to 5 is shown schematically, the long-hair cutting system 11.
  • Fig. 1 the long-hair trimmer 8 is guided laterally in opposite lateral grooves 15 upwards and downwards in the direction X, as shown in FIGS FIGS. 1 . 2 and 3 is shown.
  • FIGS. 2 to 5 a designed as a prototype lifting device 14 is shown, which only gives the basic structure of the lifting device 14 again. A series-ready pattern would therefore probably look different due to simplified components, but the basic structure and its mode of operation according to the invention would of course equally be the same. So is the prototype after the FIGS. 2 to 5 to the housing 2 a makeshift base plate 19 flanged to the direction of displacement X of the long hair trimmer 8 vertically superimposed two guide pins 18 are fixed, each one on a shift support 16 also in the direction of the long hair trimmer 8 formed long slot 17 pass through and fit laterally pass through the displacement support 16 is guided only in the direction of displacement X upwards and downwards in the long slots 17.
  • any other guide assembly 17, 18, such as a dovetail, link, rail, drawer slide, etc. are used, it is important that only the displacement direction X of the long-hair trimmer 8, here perpendicular to the course of the upper and lower blades 9,10 or perpendicular to the movement Y of the lower blade 10, is exactly maintained and while the sliding body 16 is parallel to the housing 2.
  • a substantially rectangular shaped breakthrough 21 into which from the interior of the housing 2 with an electric motor (not shown) connected driving part 22 projects, which is connected via an angle lever 24 formed on a dog clutch 23 with this drive part 22.
  • the dog clutch 23 is formed substantially fork-shaped and has a slot 25 into which engages the drive member 22 formed from a pin.
  • the angle lever 24 is pivotable about a bearing pin 26 fastened to the base plate 19 in the region of the oscillating movement Y and is arranged in front of the base plate 19.
  • the strip 31 extends in the displacement direction X and has on its right front side along the bar 31 from bottom to top extending teeth 32.
  • the strip 31 has 27 slots 33 above and below the angle, which are penetrated by screws 30 in the lateral direction in registration and thus form a sliding guide in the direction X for the bar 31.
  • Both the guide pins 18 and the screws 30 extend at their end to keep the parts 16, 31 parallel to the housing 2 at a constant distance.
  • the angle lever 24 and the bar 31 form a deflection gear 34, which converts the horizontal reciprocating movement in the direction Y in a vertical up and down movement in the X direction.
  • the teeth 32 consists of many small slightly upwardly directed and superposed on the same line teeth 35 whose distance from each other is so small that at each stroke of the bar 31 in the direction X at least one tooth can be skipped and thereby the bar 31 in Direction X is transported upwards.
  • a hook-shaped pawl 36 is rotatably mounted on the displacement support 16 at the level of the lower portion of the toothing 32, wherein the pivot point 37 is arranged on a projection 38 formed on the displacement support 16.
  • the displacement support 16 is formed substantially frame-shaped and has a quadrangular opening 39 which extends parallel to the edge of the displacement support 16 substantially.
  • the pivot point 37 of the pawl 36 is after the Fig. 2 to 5 to the right of the toothing 32 and below this formed on the displacement support 16.
  • Both on the pawl 36 as on the displacement support 16 each have a fastening eye 40, 41 is arranged, between which a prestressed tension spring 42 is clamped, which ensures that the pawl 36 is rotated clockwise about the pivot point 37. It proposes in the starting position after the Figures 2 . 4 and 5 on the displacement support 16 and on the intermediate piece 60 at.
  • the pawl 36 has an angled arm 43, the free end 44 is designed so that it can engage in each individual tooth 35 from above and thereby, when the bar 31 moves upwards, so hooks ( Fig. 3 ), that also on the pawl 36 of the sliding body 16 is taken up in the X direction.
  • the rib 45 corresponds to a formed on the base plate 19 groove 46, ie, the groove 46 is aligned with the rib 45 only when the pawl 36, the in Fig. 3 has reached the position shown.
  • the pawl 36 forms with the rack 31, the first locking mechanism 55 which takes in the direction of movement X of the sliding body 16 upwards the pawl and thus associated with the displacement carrier 16 long-hair trimmer 8 and in the direction of movement X down due to the resilient arm 43 on the Teeth 35 rattles and therefore no Driving the shift carrier down takes place, provided that the second locking mechanism 54 is in engagement, which will be explained later in more detail.
  • the groove 46 also extends in the direction of displacement X and only so far upwards, as far as the displacement body 16 connected to the long-hair trimmer 8 is moved upward.
  • the rib 45 on the pawl 36 can there also a groove and instead of the groove 46 on the base plate 19 may also be formed there a rib to achieve the same effect of a slotted guide.
  • a bolt 47 is fixed, which serves as a pivot bearing for another lever 48, the upper free end of which ends with a tooth 49 which engages from below into a trained on the sliding support 16 rack 50, however only in the positions according to Fig. 2 to 4 ,
  • the trained on the rack 50 teeth are directed downward, so that upon engagement of the tooth 49 in the rack 50 of the sliding support 16 according to Fig. 2 although it can be moved upwards, but not downwards in the direction of X.
  • the lever 48 engages spring-dependent in the toothing 50, engages on the tooth 49 opposite end 51 to a tension spring 52, which is supported on a pin 53 fixed to the base plate 53.
  • the tension spring 52 is biased between the pin 53 and the free end 51 of the lever 48 to resiliently engage the rack 50.
  • the lever 48 forms with the rack 50, the second locking mechanism 54, as already mentioned above.
  • a tandem lever 57 having an upper and a lower actuating element 58, 59.
  • the upper actuating element 58 abuts against an intermediate piece 60, which in turn bears against an abutment surface 61 formed on the pawl 36 with its opposite end ( Fig. 3 ).
  • the intermediate piece 60 is guided in a horizontal shaft 62 formed in the base plate 19.
  • a spring 63 which is supported at its other end to the base plate 19.
  • the spring 63 serves to the tandem lever 57 according to its operation Fig. 3 in the in Fig. 2 to return the initial position shown.
  • the drive part 22 takes the dog clutch 23 with it in such a way that the angle lever 24 moves back and forth about the bearing journal 26 in pivoting motion X '.
  • the angle piece 27 takes the driver 29 of the bar 31 accordingly.
  • the strip 31 is then moved oscillating only in the direction X upwards and downwards, since due to the longitudinal bore 28 only movements in the vertical, but not in the horizontal direction Fig. 2 be transferred to the bar 31, so that a pure up and down movement in the direction X via the driver 29 on the bar 31.
  • the tooth 49 of the lever 48 is in direct meshing engagement with the rack 50 only when the strip 31 moves upwardly, during the downward movement of the strip 31 the tooth 49 slides over one or more overlying teeth 35 of the teeth 32 and so because the tooth engagement ratchet-shaped and because in the downward movement, the second locking mechanism 54 blocks a displacement of the sliding body 16 down.
  • the tooth formation of the teeth 44, 35 will not be discussed here, since this is well known from the ratchet literature and therefore does not represent a barrier to the skilled artisan in this case.
  • the long-hair trimmer 8 is turned on only when it has been moved a little bit in the X direction upwards or at the latest then before he has reached its maximum extended position and he remains turned on until he returns to its initial position FIG. 2 has reached again.
  • a sliding coupling element (not shown) is responsible, which only engages in the drive part 22 when the long-hair trimmer 8 is driven a small or larger piece out of its initial position. In this way, gradually moves according to the oscillating movement of the sliding body 16 and with him the long-hair trimmer 8 up to its upper maximum position, without this manual displacement must be performed. Only an initial pressing on the tandem lever was sufficient to drive the long-hair trimmer 8 automatically in the direction X upwards out of the shaver housing 2.
  • the beard or other hair can be cut without further operation or holding the long-hair trimmer 8 is required. This particular because the second locking mechanism 54 holds the long-hair trimmer 8 in the maximum position.
