Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device for anaerobic biological wastewater treatment, which wastewater can be supplied through a feed line and exits the purified wastewater through a drain line and gas formed by a Gasabrios Gustav, with a main chamber which can be fed in a lower area to be clarified wastewater and from the in a relatively higher area at least one lever line for discharging gas formed and purified, sludge-containing waste water emanates, which opens into a return tank for separating gas and purified, sludge-containing wastewater and the outlet opening in the return tank is higher than its inlet opening in the main chamber.

  • the main chamber in which the essential organic activity is present, has lateral overflow openings, which lead into a separation chamber surrounding the main chamber. At the outer edge of the separation chamber there is an overflow channel, from which the discharge line for the treated substrate emerges. By a bottom open partition in the separation chamber, a flow is first formed down and then upwards. At the bottom of the separation chamber, organically active sludge settles, which can be pumped back by means of a pump through a return line into the main chamber. Also in this device, there are accumulations of scum in the main chamber and in the inner region of the separation chamber, whereby maintenance is required. Furthermore, the retention of biologically active sludge is not optimal. Excessive discharge of biologically active sludge will unduly diminish biological activity in the main chamber.
