Abstract

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Duschabtrennung mit wenigstens einem schwenkbar angeordneten Trennelement (2) und einem im Bereich der Unterkante (8) des Trennelements (2) angeordnetes Dichtelement, welches ein an der genannten Unterkante befestigtes Basisprofil (10) sowie ein mit diesem lösbar und bei Bedarf auswechselbar gekoppeltes Dichtprofil (12) mit einem Dichtkörper (22) und bevorzugt einem Ablaufkörper (20) aufweist. Die Duschabtrennung soll mit einem geringen konstruktiven Aufwand dahingehend weitergebildet werden, dass eine dauerhafte und gleichwohl bei Bedarf lösbare Festlegung des Dichtprofils (12) bei geringer Bauhöhe erreicht wird. Hierzu wird vorgeschlagen, dass das Dichtprofil (12) einen nach oben gerichteten Schenkel (16) aufweist, welcher an der Unterkante (8) des Trennelements (2) anliegt, und dass die Oberfläche (34) des Schenkels (16) bündig mit einer Innenfläche (26) des Trennelements (2) angeordnet ist.
