Definitions

  • the invention relates to a false ceiling which has a support profile and panels suspended from it.
  • Suspended ceilings are often formed by arranging support profiles parallel to one another at a distance from one another in the room and by fastening panels to two adjacent support profiles so that they bridge the area between the adjacent support profiles.
  • the support profiles are anchored to the raw ceiling above and / or to the side walls of the room via a support structure.
  • the support profiles have a groove that is open at the bottom, the profile walls, which laterally delimit this groove, being curved hook-shaped towards the inside of the groove in the area of the groove opening in the profile view.
  • the downwardly open groove is often - and from now on also in this application - referred to as a "hanging groove".
  • the matching panels have upwardly aligned side walls on two opposite edges, which are curved at least in sections at their upper end area in a profile view like hooks towards the center of the panel surface. To attach them, the panels are hung on two supporting profiles that are adjacent to one another in such a way that in each case a hook-like curved profile wall of a supporting profile hooks with a hook-like curved enclosing wall of a panel (in profile view).
  • the panels have two separate, so-called folding hooks. These are hooks that are curved in the same direction as the side walls of the panel and protrude slightly upwards from these side walls.
  • the permanent holding function for a panel is accomplished, as described, by direct interlocking of two enclosing walls of the panel, curved hook-shaped in profile view, each with a hook-shaped inwardly curved groove flank on a support profile. For the temporary opening of the suspended ceiling, this hooking of a panel is released and the panel is anchored to two adjacent support profiles with two folding hooks, the panel being pivotable about the connecting line between the two folding hooks.
  • the construction is highly resilient and can therefore also be used for panels with ceiling heating elements or ceiling cooling elements.
  • the disadvantage is that the construction is relatively high, because the folding hooks always vertically upwards from the panel level and therefore when the panel is installed they protrude upwards far beyond the plane of view of the panels and must find space in the hanging groove of the support profiles.
  • the longitudinal extension of the folding hook is approximately parallel to the alignment of the support profile and thus approximately horizontal, with the end of the folding hook hooked to the support profile being closer to the longitudinal center of the panel than the hook end pivotably connected to the side wall of the panel.
  • the longitudinal direction of the panel is assumed to be the direction of the panels parallel to the support profiles.
  • the inventor has set himself the task of designing suspended ceilings from interlocked supporting profiles and panels with folding hooks for panels in such a way that a flat construction of the suspended ceiling is possible.
  • a folding hook is attached to the two side walls of a panel that are parallel to the support profiles and can be hooked to that hook-shaped curved wall of the support profile with which the relevant side wall of the panel can also be hooked.

  • the right panel 2 is equipped with a folding hook 4.

  • the panels 2, 3 are typically made as a flat sheet-metal cassette.
  • the horizontal main surface is laterally bordered by side walls 7, 8, which protrude vertically upwards from the main surface.

  • a panel 2, 3 hangs on support profiles 1 by protruding with one side wall 7 from below into the hanging groove 5 of the support profile 1 running parallel to the longitudinal direction of this side wall and one of the two with the open hook part 9 through a profile wall 6 includes hooks of the support profile 1 which are limited towards the center of the hanging groove 5 and are open at the top.
  • the two mirror-inverted, mutually parallel side walls 7 of the panel 2 each engage in one of two adjacent support profiles 1 that are parallel to each other.
  • a folding hook 4 is fastened close to each end of the side wall 7. With regard to the longitudinal direction of the support profile 1, these two folding hooks 4 are at the same height.
  • the folding hook 4 can - as shown - be an approximately J-shaped bent sheet metal part. With the end of the longitudinal part 11 facing away from the curved area 10, the folding hook 4 is connected to the side wall 7 of the panel 2.
  • the longitudinal part 11 of the folding hook 4 extends approximately parallel to the plane of the side wall 7 and rises slightly away from the main surface of the panel from the connection point with the side wall 7, so that the curved area 10 engages around the profile wall 6 on the support profile 1 from above.
  • the folding hook 4 protrudes beyond the longitudinal end of the panel 2.
  • the folding hook on the panel 2 to which it is attached can be held completely or almost completely rigid - that is, not pivotable. This makes it very easy for the person involved to hang and unhook the panel 2 on the support profile 2 and fold it up and down. This also ensures that the folding hooks 4 are not accidentally unhooked from the support profile 1 when handling the panel 2.
  • the recess 12 could be made smaller.
  • the recess could also be omitted entirely if the folding hook were not arranged on the inside of the side wall 7 of the respective panel as shown, but on the outside and if a higher construction height of the suspended ceiling were to be accepted.
  • the panel 2 is raised so far with respect to the support profile 1 that the direct hooking between panel 2 and support profile 1 can be released by shifting the panel 2 laterally with respect to the support profile 1.
  • the folding hook 4 rests on the support profile approximately both on the top surface and on the uppermost surface area of the profile wall 6.
  • the folding hook 4 is still hooked on the profile wall 6 because the middle part of its curvature area 10, - as in Fig. 1 recognizable - compared to that area, which is located behind the profile wall 6, is designed to be slimmer.
  • the fold-down hook 4 is the panel 2 during all relative movement when it is transferred from the folded-down state to the completely suspended state ( Fig. 2 top figure) and vice versa, always securely hooked to the profile wall 6 of the support profile 1.
  • the panel 2 In the completely folded-down state, the panel 2 is held exclusively in that it hangs on two support profiles 1 via two folding hooks 4.
  • the folding hook 4 in the embodiment shown, when the panel 2 is completely suspended, almost rests against the base surface of the support profile 1 lying above (upper illustration of FIG Fig. 2 ) and because the panel 2 has to be lifted slightly in relation to this for hanging and detaching from the support profile 1 (middle figure from Fig. 2 ), the folding hook 4 must be pivotable relative to the panel 2 at least so far that its free end can be moved up and down relative to the panel 2 by the same height difference as the panel 2 must be lifted relative to the support profile 1 in order to be able to be unhooked .
  • the folding hook 4 it is advantageous to design the folding hook 4 so that it can be swiveled "downward" parallel to the plane of the panel 2 so that it does not protrude upwards when the panel 2 is completely detached from the support profile.
  • the folding hook 4 Since with all this required pivotability of the folding hook 4 relative to the panel 2, the folding hook is never pivoted more than 20 ° away from the parallels to the plane of the panel 2, the folding hook 4 is very good by pushing or pulling on the panel 2 normal to its plane pivotable in the required manner when its curvature region 10 rests on the support profile 1 on its base surface or on its profile wall 6. It is by no means annoying but rather advantageous if the folding hook 4 is so firmly connected to the panel 2 - for example riveted - that relative pivoting movement between panel 1 and folding hook 4 only takes place by overcoming clearly noticeable friction.
  • folding hook 4 If, instead of the outlined folding hook 4, one would be used which is significantly narrower normal to the hook plane, for example in that its area of curvature is formed by a wire bent only in one plane, the folding hook collides when the panel 2 is lifted for hanging out of the support profile 1 not so quickly or possibly not at all with the base surface of the support profile 1 located above.
  • the functionally required pivoting range of the folding hook with respect to the support profile 1 could thus be smaller or, in extreme cases, be omitted entirely. However, some security against accidental unhooking while handling is lost.

Description

  • Fig. 1:
