Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif permettant de fermer d'un seul côté des enveloppes d'emballages (S) pour réaliser des emballages composites, en particulier des emballages composites carton/matière plastique, par façonnage au moyen d'une roue à mandrins (6) comportant une pluralité de mandrins (7) répartis uniformément sur toute la circonférence et dirigés radialement vers l'extérieur, lesdits mandrins parcourant successivement plusieurs postes de traitement dans la direction périphérique de la roue à mandrins (6), chaque mandrin (7) présentant à son extrémité libre une tête (25) sur laquelle les parties de pliage à fermer de l'enveloppe d'emballage (S) glissée sur le mandrin (7) sont pliées et scellées en position fermée. Pour assurer en toute sécurité un scellement fiable, et en particulier sans formation de poches, de la zone terminale d'une enveloppe d'emballage (S) sur le mandrin (7), la tête (25) du mandrin (7) est conçue de sorte que ses dimensions extérieures peuvent être modulées.
