Definitions
- the present invention relates to alarm sensors, alarm systems, and their uses.
- Centralized alarm systems which include a central unit, and a plurality of sensors of various types, connected to said central alarm unit by a wired or wireless link.
- the document FROM 10 2013 103535 describes an anti-intrusion system in which the detection of movement in a room triggers a request to deactivate the door opening sensor placed at the entrance to the room.
- the aim of the present invention is to propose an alarm sensor for an opening and an alarm system comprising such a sensor which avoids the drawbacks listed above.
- the opening is for example a door or a window.
- This opening comprises a fixed part surrounding an opening and a movable part adapted to close or open said opening, said opening being located between an interior space and an exterior space of the premises.
- the invention is defined by the alarm sensor according to claim 1.
- the alarm sensor distinguishes openings of the sash coming from the outside, which are very relevant for detecting an intrusion, from those coming from inside which are to be deleted.
- the false detection rate is greatly reduced.
- the alarm system can then send the alert directly to the relevant security guard, reducing response time.
- the cost of the remote monitoring manager can be greatly reduced. Additionally, the alarm system can send the same alert simultaneously to the user for further verification.
- the user of an alarm system using this sensor does not need to deactivate the alarm when it is present, they simply need to identify itself when it comes in, so that the alarm system can remain active permanently. Thanks to this operation, the user can no longer forget to activate the alarm system when leaving the premises, and there is no risk of leaving this premises unprotected.
- the opening sensor comprises two elements, a first element being connected to the fixed part of the opening and a second element being connected to the movable part of the opening, said opening sensor being adapted to detect an opening event when the second element moves away from the first element.
- the opening sensor detects the opening event by magnetic effect or by optical effect or by movement.
- the inhibition device is a volumetric sensor which detects the movement of a person and which detects if said person moves away from said inhibition device, and in which the electronic unit provides the detection signal only if the presence detected by the inhibition device corresponds to a movement of said person away from said inhibition device.
- the undo device is a wireless reader adapted to be wirelessly connected to a wireless electronic device.
- said wireless electronic device has a wireless transmission means which has a range which is a maximum detection distance, and the cancellation device transmits to the wireless electronic device an adjustment value of said range of the device wireless electronics.
- the override device may be activated if it detects the presence of the wireless electronic device.
- the wireless reader estimates a distance between said wireless reader and the wireless, mobile electronic device.
- the cancellation device (24) can be activated only if the distance is less than a cancellation distance.
- the cancellation distance is less than 5 meters.
- the cancellation distance is less than 2 meters.
- the cancellation distance is a function of an identifier of the mobile electronic device.
- the cancellation distance is determined based on previously detected rest distances, a rest distance being a distance between the wireless reader and the mobile electronic device which is maintained for a duration greater than a third duration, the cancellation distance then being less than any rest distance.
- the analysis period is set to a first value, then after a predetermined number of analyses, the analysis period is set to a second value greater than the first value.
- the inhibition device is a volumetric sensor which detects the movement of a person and which detects if said person moves away from said inhibition device, and in which the electronic unit provides the detection signal only if the presence detected by the inhibition device corresponds to a movement of said person away from said inhibition device.
- the inhibition device is a volumetric sensor positioned so that a first plane is a plane substantially perpendicular to the opening and substantially perpendicular to the floor of the room, said first plane being the plane of highest density of alternation active and inactive for motion detection.
- the volumetric sensor has a first opening angle in said first plane less than 45°.
- the inhibition device is a volumetric sensor which is directed towards the interior handle of the opening or a point located near said handle.
- the inhibition device is a volumetric sensor which comprises two detection elements and a wall located between said detection elements.
- the volumetric sensor does not include an optical system for focusing on said detection elements.
- the alarm sensor is adapted to be fixed on the opening.
- the alarm sensor comprises at least one part adapted to be fixed on the movable part of the opening.
- the opening is either a door or a window.
- the electronic unit comprises a transmission member adapted to transmit the detection signal either by a wired connection or by a wireless connection.
- the alarm sensor and the alarm center are integrated into a single housing.
- FIG. 1 is a general view of the system of a first embodiment of an alarm system 10 according to the invention.
- the opening 1 shown in figure 1 is a door, but the opening could be a window.
- the opening 1 comprises a fixed part 2 surrounding an opening and a movable part 3 adapted to close or open said opening.
- This opening 1 (opening) is located between an interior space and an exterior space of the premises.
- FIG. 2 shows more precisely the alarm system 10 comprising the alarm sensor 20 for opening and the alarm center 30 according to a first embodiment of the invention.
- the opening sensor 21 is adapted to detect an opening event of the opening 1, that is to say the opening of the mobile part 3. This opening event can be determined by the movement of the movable part 3 relative to the fixed part 2, or by only the movement of the movable part 3.
- the opening sensor 21 can comprise a single element connected to the mobile part 3 to measure its movement, that is to say its displacement, its speed or its acceleration.
- the sensor opening 21 may comprise two elements 21a, 21b.
- the first element 21a is connected to the movable part 3 and the second element 21b is connected to the fixed part 2, as illustrated in figures 1 and 2 , Or vice versa.
- the opening sensor 21 of this second variant is for example a magnetic sensor.
- a magnet is housed in the first element 21a and a sensor of the “Reed” sensor or “Hall” effect sensor type is housed in the second element 21b.
- Such a well-known “Reed” sensor comprises flexible blades of magnetic material which magnetize by influence, and are attracted to each other in the presence of a magnetic field generated by the magnet. This sensor therefore closes an electrical circuit when the first and second elements 21a, 21b are close to each other.
- the opening sensor 21 of this second variant is possibly an optical sensor, the first element 21a accommodating a reflector and the second element accommodating an optical type transceiver, for example infrared, as is also well known.
- the opening sensors 21 according to this second variant have the advantage of very reliably detecting the closed state or the open state of the opening 1.
- the alarm system 10 can thus be automatically and systematically activated as soon as the The closed state is detected.
- the inhibition device 22 is adapted to at least determine the presence of a person in the interior space near the opening 1.
- the inhibition device 22 is a simple push button, the person having to press said push button before each opening event of the opening 1, to signal their presence inside, and therefore signal in suggests that the opening event of the opening 1 will correspond to an opening action carried out from inside the premises, and therefore that this opening event is carried out by an authorized person and not by an intruder.
- the inhibition device 22 is a volumetric sensor making it possible to detect a movement in a detection zone (volume) in front of said volumetric sensor.
- This volumetric sensor often called a pyroelectric sensor, usually includes an optical system which divides the detection zone alternately into active and inactive, an infrared detector (adapted to the infrared domain) which provides a movement signal, and processing electronics which detect variations in this signal, and therefore a movement of a person (infrared transmitter) in the detection zone.
- the inhibition device 22 directly and autonomously detects the presence of a person in the detection zone by the movement of said person.
- the detection zone is then advantageously adjusted to detect a portion of the interior space near the opening 1. For example, the detection zone will cover a projected portion of 2x2 m (on the ground) in front of this opening 1.
- the device inhibition 22 then has an inhibition distance of 2 meters below which detection will have the effect of avoiding the emission of the detection signal by the electronic unit 23.
- the electronic unit 23 will not provide the detection signal only if the presence detected by the inhibition device corresponds to a movement of said person away from said inhibition device.
- the inhibition device 22 is a camera which detects a movement in a detection zone (portion of the image), by processing temporally successive images (for example by correlation between said portions of successive images ).
- the inhibition device 22 is a proximity sensor which detects a simple presence nearby, that is to say at a short distance, for example less than 50 centimeters.
- This proximity sensor is for example an infrared sensor, or a light-emitting diode (LED) sensor of the emission/reception type advantageously placed near the handle.
- providing a detection signal means providing a non-zero detection signal; which means that a validated opening event has been detected; i.e. emit or transmit a detection signal.
- This is the known operation of alarm sensors which provide a detection signal after the detection of an event, and which do not provide one if no event is detected.
- the first duration D1 is adjustable analog or digital. It is for example between 1 second and 10 minutes. It is for example of the order of 1 minute, so that any opening event preceded by a presence detection in the previous minute will be deactivated and will not generate any detection signal.
- the alarm sensor 20 takes into account the opening event detected by the opening sensor 21 only if no presence has been detected by the inhibition device 22 during the first duration D1 preceding the opening event.
- this third variant if the person passes into the detection zone of the volumetric sensor (inhibition device 22) while moving away from it, this presence detection will not be considered, and a opening event which would be detected would be considered relevant to generate a detection signal and an alert. Furthermore, preferably, the removal of the person has the effect of canceling the previous approach, so that the alarm sensor 20 remains active even if the person inside the room approaches and moves away. of the sensor.
- opening events when opening events do not generate a detection signal, they will not generate an alert from the alarm system, i.e. a false alarm.
- opening events caused by a person located inside the premises do not correspond to an intrusion, and are therefore assumed to be carried out by an authorized person.
- the alarm sensor 20 is advantageously integrated into a single sensor housing 28 when the opening sensor 21 is composed of a single element.
- the sensor box 28 is adapted to be fixed on the movable part of the opening 1 (shape, dimensions, etc.).
- the assembly of the second element 21b, the inhibition device 22, and the electronic unit 23 is integrated into a single sensor housing 28 as shown in figure 2 .
- This sensor box 28 is then adapted to be fixed on the fixed part of the opening 1 (shape, dimensions, etc.), or vice versa.
- This alarm sensor 20 can then be connected by an internal connection 29 (sensor-central connection) wired or wireless to an alarm central 30 as shown in figure 1 .
- This alarm center 30 can be an alarm center as currently known, or a simplified alarm center 30, and adapted only to the present alarm sensor 20.
- the central cancellation device 34 is adapted to be activated by the identification of a person, and to cancel the alert if the central cancellation device 34 has been activated for a second duration D2 after the event d 'opening.
- the second duration D2 is adjustable analog or digital. It is for example between 10 seconds and 2 minutes. It is for example of the order of 1 minute, so that any alert is deleted if a person identifies themselves by the central cancellation device 34.
- the “wireless” connection of the wireless player uses a medium or long distance wireless transmission means (for example “Bluetooth” or “Bluetooth Low Energy”).
- a medium or long distance wireless transmission means for example “Bluetooth” or “Bluetooth Low Energy”.
- the alarm center 30 is completely autonomous and determines by itself the nature of the entry (valid intrusion or not).
- this wireless technology is able to estimate a distance between the central cancellation device 34 and the wireless electronic device which is worn by the user.
- the identification can be validated (i.e. central cancellation device 34 activated) if said distance is less than a cancellation distance.
- This cancellation distance is a parameter of the central cancellation device 34 or cancellation device 24, i.e. a parameter of the alarm sensor 20 and/or the alarm central 30.
- This cancellation distance is for example predetermined, and for example less than 5 meters, and preferably less than 2 meters. This avoids cancellation of remote detection of the alarm sensor 20, without monitoring the opening and possible intruders.
- This cancellation distance can be adjusted for each application, or even set to a value which deactivates said distance condition between the central cancellation device 34 and the wireless electronic device, for example for a premises with public access in which at least one authorized person is inside the premises.
- the cancellation distance is for example set to a value less than the range of the wireless electronic device.
- the wireless electronic device uses a wireless transmission means which has a range, that is to say a distance from which it is no longer detectable, i.e. a distance from which the cancellation device 24 or central override device 34 will not be able to detect it.
- the wireless electronic device communicates an identifier to the cancellation device 24 or central cancellation device 34, and the latter determines the cancellation distance according to this identifier.
- each of them may have a different cancellation distance.
- the wireless reader is close to the alarm sensor 20, such that the distance between the wireless reader and the wireless electronic device is substantially equal to the distance between the alarm sensor 20 and the electronic device wireless.
- the wireless electronic device is optionally programmable remotely by its wireless connection with the control unit 30.
- the range of the wireless electronic device can be adjusted by modifying the transmission power.
- the range of the wireless electronic device can then be adjusted to a value slightly greater than the cancellation distance in order to minimize the power consumption of the wireless electronic device.
- the authorized person opens the opening 1 from the outside to enter the room must quickly activate the central cancellation device 34 or the cancellation device 24 inside the room, that is to say before the end of the second duration D2 which begins at the time of the opening event.
- This action on the central cancellation device 34 cancels the generation of the alert by the alarm central 30.
- it is a wireless electronic device associated with the cancellation device which must quickly activate the cancellation device. cancellation of central unit 34 or the cancellation device 24, before the end of the second duration D2, which amounts to making an automatic cancellation activation.
- the alarm sensor 20 and/or the central alarm 30 is designed to be in energy saving standby mode for the majority of its operation.
- the opening sensor 21 and/or the inhibition device 22 are permanently active and are capable of causing the electronic unit 23 to exit the alarm sensor 20, the central electronic unit 33 from the central alarm 30, and the cancellation device 24 or the central electronic device 34, from standby mode to awake mode. After a delay of inaction after a last event, the electronic unit 23 and the cancellation device 24, 34 automatically return to standby mode.
- the alarm sensor 20 and/or the alarm center 30 consumes little energy.
- the central alert device 35 is the device which generates the alert to notify and/or inform one or more third parties that the premises have been the victim of an intrusion.
- the central alert device 35 can for example send an SMS or a notification to a remote device such as a mobile phone.
- a remote device such as a mobile phone.
- Such notification or “push” notification uses a notification server which is an intermediary between the central alert device and the remote device. This notification server is not shown in the figures for reasons of simplification.
- the central alert device 35 can also transmit via the communication unit information messages, different from alerts, to inform a person of entry/exit events from the premises. These information messages therefore differ from alerts which correspond to an unauthorized intrusion.
- the alarm center 30 according to this first embodiment is advantageously integrated into a single control unit box 38.
- Each of these modules and/or boxes can then be small, which facilitates installation.
- the first module is placed on the fixed or mobile part of the opening and the second module is placed near the opening on the wall (for example at arm's height in order to be accessible so that the authorized person can easily activate alert cancellation).
- the inhibition device 22 is a push button, the first module will be placed in the lower part, at arm's height in order to be accessible, otherwise the first module will preferably be placed in the upper part to be barely visible.
- the alarm center 30 of this system can remain in active mode and the protection is permanent. Thanks to this alarm system 10, the alert can be sent directly to the security agent concerned, which reduces intervention time.
- FIG. 3 shows an alarm system 10 comprising an alarm sensor 20 for opening and an alarm center 30 according to a second embodiment of the invention.
- the cancellation device 24 can also be one of the type listed previously in the first embodiment (for the central cancellation device 34).
- this alarm sensor 20 takes into account the opening event detected by the opening sensor 21 only if no presence has been detected by the inhibition device 22 during the first duration D1 preceding the opening event.
- this alarm sensor 20 combining an opening sensor, an inhibition device, and a cancellation device, the false detection rate is very greatly reduced.
- This alarm sensor 20 can then be connected by an internal wired or wireless link 29 to an alarm center 30.
- This alarm center 30 can be an alarm center as currently known, or a central alarm. simplified alarm 30, and adapted only to the present alarm sensor 30 as shown in Figure 3 .
- the simplified alarm unit 30 of this second embodiment does not include a unit cancellation device 34, compared to that of the first embodiment.
- the alarm center 30 therefore comprises a central alert device 35 which is capable of generating the alert to notify or inform one or more third parties that the premises was the victim of an intrusion.
- this alarm center 30 takes into account the detection signal and possibly the activation information of the cancellation device 24, provided by the alarm sensor 20 via the internal link 29.
- the central alert device 35 can also be one of the type listed previously in the first embodiment, and with operation of the same type.
- the cancellation device 24 is connected to the electronic unit 23 which itself cancels the alert if the cancellation device 24 has been activated for a second duration D2 after the event opening.
- the cancellation device 24 transmits its activation to the alarm center 30 directly or indirectly by the electronic unit 23 to a central electronic unit 33, which then cancels the alert if the cancellation device 24 was activated for a second duration D2 after the opening event.
- This second variant offers more security because the cancellation of the alert is carried out in the alarm center 30, which can be easily hidden in the premises and difficult to access to an intruder who may wish to destroy it.
- the first module is placed on the fixed or mobile part of the opening, and the second module can be placed anywhere in the room or nearby.
- the first alarm sensor module 20 can be a generic module which can be connected by the internal link 29 to any type of alarm center 30 if it integrates the cancellation of the detection signal or to the alarm center simplified as explained above.
- the alarm center 30 of this system can remain in active mode and the protection is permanent. Thanks to this alarm system 10, the alert can be sent directly to the security agent concerned, which reduces intervention time.
- the cancellation device 24 is a wireless reader associated (connected by a wireless link) with a wireless, mobile electronic device.
- the wireless connection uses a medium or long distance wireless transmission means (for example “Bluetooth” or “Bluetooth Low Energy”).
- the alarm center 30 is completely autonomous and determines by itself the nature of the entry (valid intrusion or not).
- FIG. 4 shows an alarm system 10 comprising an alarm sensor 20 for opening and an alarm center 30 according to a third embodiment of the invention.
- the alert device 25 can be one of the type listed previously in the first or second embodiments (for the central alert device 35), and with operation of the same type.
- the alarm sensor 20 cancels the alert if the cancellation device 24 has been activated for a second duration D2 after the opening event, and generates the possible alert.
- this alarm sensor 20 takes into account the opening event detected by the opening sensor 21 only if no presence has been detected by the inhibition device 22 during the first duration D1 preceding the opening event.
- this alarm sensor 20 combining an opening sensor, an inhibition device, a device cancellation, and an alert device, the false detection rate is greatly reduced.
- the alarm sensor 20 of this third embodiment is in fact a complete and autonomous alarm system 10, because it integrates the essential function of the alarm center 30, that is to say the device alert which notifies the intrusion to a third person, for example located at a distance from the premises.
- this sensor or alarm system 10 is integrated into a single housing, which facilitates installation.
- the alarm center 30 of this system can remain in active mode and the protection is permanent. Thanks to this alarm system 10, the alert can be sent directly to the security agent concerned, which reduces intervention time.
- FIG. 5 shows an alarm system 10 comprising an alarm sensor 20 for opening and an alarm center 30 according to a fourth embodiment of the invention.
- the inhibition device 22 is connected by a second internal wired or wireless connection 29 2 to the electronic unit 23 of the alarm sensor 20.
- This inhibition device 22 can be of any type, as mentioned in the first embodiment.
- the inhibition device 22 is a wireless volumetric sensor or a wireless camera which makes it possible to detect the presence of a person in the interior space near the opening 1.
- the alarm sensor 20 comprises a sensor housing 28 which only includes the opening sensor 21 and the electronic unit 23.
- This sensor housing 28 can be smaller in size and the installation is more easy.
- the inhibition device 22 is possibly already available, and thus this embodiment is less expensive.
- this alarm sensor 20 takes into account the opening event detected by the opening sensor 21 only if no presence has been detected by the inhibition device 22 during the first duration D1 preceding the opening event.
- this alarm sensor 20 combining an opening sensor 21 and an inhibition device 22 via a second internal connection 29 2 , the false detection rate is always very greatly reduced.
- FIG. 6 shows an alarm system 10 comprising an alarm sensor 20 for opening and an alarm center 30 according to a fifth embodiment of the invention.
- This fifth embodiment differs from the fourth embodiment and the previous ones in that the inhibition device 22 is able to also perform the function of the cancellation device 24 of the second and third embodiments, or of the cancellation device of central 34 of the first embodiment.
- the inhibition device 22 is connected by a second internal wired or wireless link 29 2 to the electronic unit 23 of the alarm sensor 20, and by a third internal wired or wireless link 29 3 to the unit. electronics of central 33 of alarm central 30.
- This inhibition device 22 is thus adapted to at least determine the presence of a person in the interior space near the opening 1, but also to be activated by the identification of the person.
- this inhibition device 22 can detect the presence of a person near the opening 1, but also identify whether this person is an authorized person so that the central electronic unit 33 cancels the alert.
- the alarm system 10 of this embodiment has the advantages and effects of the fourth embodiment.
- the alarm system is simpler to install and it is less expensive.
- FIG. 7 shows an alarm system 10 comprising an alarm sensor 20 for opening and an alarm center 30 according to a sixth embodiment of the invention.
- the cancellation device 24 is connected by a second internal wired or wireless connection 29 2 to the electronic unit 23 of the alarm sensor 20.
- This cancellation device 24 can be of any type, as cited in the first embodiment (central cancellation device 34) or in the following embodiments.
- it is a wireless camera.
- the cancellation device 24 is connected by a second internal wired or wireless link 29 2 to the electronic unit 23 of the alarm sensor 20, and possibly by a third internal wired or wireless link 29 3 to the central electronic unit 33 of the alarm central unit 30.
- the alarm sensor 20 comprises a sensor housing 28 which includes the opening sensor 21, the inhibition device 22 and the electronic unit 23.
- This housing is of reduced size, which facilitates its installation near the opening 1.
- the cancellation device 24 is possibly already available in the room, and thus this embodiment is less expensive.
- the alarm center 30 can also be simplified, with a central unit box 38 of very small size, easily concealable.
- this alarm sensor 20 takes into account the opening event detected by the opening sensor 21 only if no presence has been detected by the inhibition device 22 during the first duration D1 preceding the opening event.
- this alarm sensor 20 combining an opening sensor 21, an inhibition device 22 and a cancellation device 24 by a second internal connection 29 2 , such as a facial recognition camera, the identification of the person authorized can be automated, without its manual intervention.
- a second internal connection 29 2 such as a facial recognition camera
- said cancellation device 24 when the cancellation device 24 is activated by the identification of the person, said cancellation device 24 optionally generates and provides an identification signal.
- providing an identification signal means providing a non-zero identification signal; which means that the identification of a person was carried out by the cancellation device 24; that is to say, emit or transmit an identification signal.
- This identification signal can take several forms.
- the identification signal is validated identification information, the identification of the authorized person being carried out directly by the cancellation device 24.
- the six embodiments of the alarm system 10 presented above include similar or identical elements, distributed differently in various boxes or modules. Furthermore, these embodiments all operate identically.
- the alarm system 10 remains permanently active, which avoids forgetting to activate it when leaving the room.
- the false alarm rate is very reduced thanks to the combination of the opening sensor and the inhibition device.
- the alarm center 30 of this system can remain in active mode and the protection is permanent. Thanks to this alarm system 10, the alert can be sent directly to the security agent concerned, which reduces intervention time.
- the alarm systems 10 according to the present invention are therefore used according to a method illustrated in the diagram of the Figure 9 differently from a method of using an alarm system of the prior art illustrated in the diagram of the figure 8 .
- This process is faster, and reduces the time between alert generation and intervention.
- the method further comprises a step in which: c) the alarm system 10 transmits the alert to the authorized person 103, for example after having sent said alert to the security agent 110.
- Said alert is for example transmitted to a mobile electronic device of the authorized person, such as his mobile phone, by an SMS or a “push” notification.
- This means is for example said mobile electronic device of the authorized person 103 in which an application has been installed to carry out this alert cancellation.
- This application can optionally keep a history of all alarm system 10 alerts and messages.
- the cancellation device 24 of the present variant records rest distances which are distances between the wireless electronic device and the cancellation device 24 which are preserved (which remain substantially constant) for a duration greater than a third duration D3 .
- This third duration D3 is for example a duration of 5 minutes or 10 minutes.
- the cancellation device 24 then automatically adjusts the cancellation distance to a value less than all the recorded rest distances.
- the cancellation distance is for example set to a value of 20% below the minimum rest distance.
- the cancellation device 24 will eventually regularly delete the oldest rest distances. For example, any rest distance recorded for more than 2 weeks or more than 1 month will be deleted.
- the cancellation device 24 is capable of automatically reducing and increasing the cancellation distance, that is to say automatically adapting the cancellation distance.
- the cancellation device may also identify different rest distances for each wireless electronic device, and therefore a cancellation distance for each wireless electronic device.
- the cancellation distance can be limited to a minimum value, minimum cancellation distance to guarantee sufficiently effective detection of the cancellation device 24.
- the minimum cancellation distance is 1 meter.
- a wireless electronic device in connection with the cancellation device 24 of the alarm sensor 20 or the central cancellation device 34 of the alarm center 30 may pose a problem if the user leaves this electronic device without wire near the alarm sensor or the alarm control panel, in a zone called cancellation zone, for example at a distance less than the cancellation distance.
- the cancellation device 24 would be systematically activated, which systematically deactivates the detection signal, which permanently deactivates the alarm sensor and/or the alarm center and cancels all protection.
- the cancellation distance is a parameter of the alarm sensor 20 and/or the alarm center 30.
- the fourth duration is for example 10 minutes, which means that the wireless electronic device is installed for a long time.
- the cancellation device 24, 34 can vary the analysis period.
- the analysis period can be set to a first value, for example short, for example 2 minutes, then after a predetermined number of analyses, the analysis period can be set to a second value greater than the first value, for example 10 minutes.
- the cancellation device 2 4 observes more precisely the presence of the wireless electronic device after the opening event, which corresponds to a moment when the wireless electronic device moves.
- the infrared detector 222 is composed of two detection elements 222a, 222b comprising a pyroelectric material sensitive to the infrared optical domain.
- the difference made between a first signal coming from the first detection element 222a and a second signal coming from the second detection element 222b is for example made by the processing electronics 223 which then provides the movement signal.
- the first plane P1 is defined by the points A, D, E
- the second plane P2 is defined by the points A, B, C.
- the first plane P1 is positioned substantially parallel to the ground or the floor of the room (i.e. horizontal) relative to the ground
- the second plane P2 is positioned substantially perpendicular to the ground (i.e. vertical).
- the inhibition device 22 is a volumetric sensor placed as usual, that is to say with its first plane P1 substantially parallel to the floor of the room, and its second plane P2 substantially perpendicular to the ground.
- the inhibition device 22 is a volumetric sensor 220 placed with its first plane P1 (moreover high density motion detection) substantially perpendicular to the floor of the room, for example at plus or minus 20° relative to a perpendicular to the floor.
- this first plane P1 is substantially vertical.
- its second plane P2 is usually perpendicular to the first plane P1.
- the second plane is substantially horizontal (with the same angular range).
- the inhibition device 22 is more sensitive to detect a person who is approaching or moving away from said inhibition device 22.
- the inhibition device 22 can be directed towards the interior handle 4 of the opening 1 or towards an area close to said handle 4.
- the direction D of the volumetric sensor 22 is defined by the intersection of the first plane P1 and the second plane P2, and therefore corresponds to an orientation of its infrared detector 222 and its optical system 221.
- the inhibition device 22 detects the hand of the person approaching the interior handle 4 of the opening 1.
- the volumetric sensor 220 has for example in the latter case a first opening angle a1 in the first plane P1 less than 60°, and for example less than 45°, and possibly less than 20°.
- the volumetric sensor 220 has for example a second opening angle a2 in the second plane P2 greater than 90°, and for example 120° or more.
- This second opening angle a2 of the second plane P2 is therefore widened compared to known sensors, which allows detection over a large width of the handle and the opening 1.
- this volumetric sensor 220 has reversed characteristics or use compared to known volumetric sensors.
- This volumetric sensor 220 effectively detects the movement of a person or the hand of a person who approaches or moves away from the opening 1 or the handle 4 of the opening.
- the detection zone is better targeted.
- the false detection rate is greatly reduced.
- the volumetric sensor 220 of the second variant further comprises a wall 224 positioned substantially perpendicular to the infrared detector 222, between the two detection elements 22a, 22b.
- This wall extends over a separation height moving away from said infrared detector 222.
- the wall 224 is for example a sheet of metal or plastic. This wall has a spatial masking effect for infrared rays.
- the first signal will have a temporal variation before the second signal, when the hand passes, and the difference of the first and second signals will have a greater variation, which increases the sensitivity of the volumetric sensor 222 in the first plane P1.
- the volumetric sensor will not include an optical system such as lenses, these lenses being replaced by the simple wall.
- the inhibition device thus produced will be more sensitive, more compact, more aesthetic and less expensive than known sensors.
- the alarm system 10 is permanently active, which avoids forgetting to activate it when leaving the premises.
- the alarm sensor 20 and/or the alarm center 30 include deactivation means to carry out this temporary activation/deactivation.
- This action does not require identification of the person, as long as this action is carried out outside of any entry into the premises, i.e. carried out at a time not following such an entry.
- This means of deactivation can be a button.
- this deactivation means is supplemented by an alert means which warns the user(s) that the alarm sensor 20 and/or the alarm center 30 is inactive, and that the premises are not protected.
- This alert means may be a visual indication (e.g. an LED) or an audible indication or an alert transmitted on the wireless electronic device(s) or an alert transmitted on one or more mobile telephones. Possibly, indications and/or alerts are regularly issued.
